Abstract

La invención se relaciona con un método para probar las conexiones de piezas de trabajo metálicas con compuestos plásticos por cavidades por medio de ultrasonido, en donde el compuesto plástico se dispone entre la pieza de trabajo como una capa intermedia o se conecta con la pieza de trabajo en un lado y la cavidad se ubica dentro del compuesto plástico, en donde la cavidad se conecta con la pieza de trabajo por medio de una capa plástica o piel plástica restante y en donde el compuesto plástico se expone a señales ultrasónicas de una cierta frecuencia de prueba o longitud de pulso desde el lado metálico de la pieza de trabajo por medio de por lo menos una sonda ultrasónica, y en particular las señales ultrasónicas reflejadas por las imperfecciones en el compuesto plástico se detectan mediante la misma u otra sonda ultrasónica y se convierten en señales eléctricas que se pueden evaluar y se sujetan a observación de límite. La frecuencia de prueba de las señales ultrasónicas se establece en un rango de 1 a 10 MHz de modo tal que la atenuación del sonido es mínima después de pasar a través de la piel plástica.
