Abstract

La invención se refiere a un método para operar cíclicamente un dispositivo de hornos de coque, en donde el citado dispositivo comprende un número par de bancos de hornos de coque, incluyendo cada uno, a su vez, un número par de cámaras de horno de coque. Dispositivos de calderas se conectan corriente abajo de los bancos de hornos de coque, para el accionamiento de turbinas empleando los gases calientes de escape de los bancos de hornos de coque. De esta manera se obtiene energía. Las cámaras de horno de coque se deshornan y cargan en un ciclo exactamente definido, de modo que puede homogenizarse en el transcurso del tiempo la producción de gas caliente de escape.
