Abstract
1.- Un proceso para hacer papel o cartón que comprende: Preparar una suspensión de celulosa; Flocular la suspensión de celulosa mediante la adición de un sistema de floculación que comprende un material silíceo y una composición o dispersión agua en agua de un micro-polímero orgánico soluble en agua, aniónico o catiónico, en donde el material silíceo y el micro-polímero orgánico se adicionan simultáneamente o secuencialmente; Drenar la suspensión de celulosa sobre una tamiz para formar una hoja; y Secar la hoja. 2.- El proceso de la reivindicación 1, en donde la composición del micro-polímero en dispersión tiene una viscosidad reducida mayor que o igual a 0.2 decilitros por gramo y comprende 5 a 30 por ciento en peso de un micro-polímero de alto peso molecular y 5 a 30 por ciento en peso de una sal coagulante inorgánica. 3.- El proceso de la reivindicación 1, en donde la composición del micro-polímero en dispersión se prepara mediante la iniciación de la polimerización de un monómero que se puede polimerizar en una solución acuosa de sal para formar una dispersión del micro-polímero orgánico, la dispersión resultante tiene una viscosidad reducida mayor que o igual a 0.2 decilitros por gramo. 4.- El proceso de la reivindicación 2, en donde la solución salina es una solución acuosa de una sal iónica polivalente inorgánica, y en donde la mezcla de monómeros en una solución salina comprende 1 a 30 por ciento en peso, con base en el peso total de los monómeros, un polímero dispersante, siendo el polímero dispersante un polímero aniónico o catiónico soluble en agua que es soluble en la solución acuosa de la sal iónica polivalente.
