Abstract
Un proceso esencialmente de circuito abierto para recuperar especies metálicas valiosas de una materia prima del tipo laterita, dicho proceso comprende los pasos secuenciales o no secuenciales de:a) separa la materia prima del tipo laterita en una primera y segunda fracciones;b) reaccionar un ácido con una sal de cloruro en un primer compartimiento, generando así HCI gaseoso;c) clorar dicha primera fracción con dicho HCI gaseoso en un segundo compartimiento, produciendo así una fracción clorada, en donde el exceso de HCI se recupera y disuelve en agua, produciendo así una solución concentrada de HCI;d) combinar dicha fracción clorada y dicha segunda fracción en una mezcla;e) lixiviando dicha mezcla con dicha solución concentrada de HCI en un tercer compartimiento, produciendo así una masa de reacción;f) someter dicha masa de reacción a una separación de fases, separando así un residuo insoluble de una solución principal; y recuperar selectivamente especies metálicas valiosas de dicha solución principal.
