Abstract
Un proceso esencialmente de circuito abierto para recuperar especies metálicas valiosas de una materia prima del tipo laterita, dicho proceso comprende los pasos secuenciales o no secuenciales de:a) separa la materia prima del tipo laterita en una primera y segunda fracciones;b) reaccionar un ácido con una sal de cloruro en un primer compartimiento, generando así HCI gaseoso;c) clorar dicha primera fracción con dicho HCI gaseoso en un segundo compartimiento, produciendo así una fracción clorada, en donde el exceso de HCI se recupera y disuelve en agua, produciendo así una solución concentrada de HCI;d) combinar dicha fracción clorada y dicha segunda fracción en una mezcla;e) lixiviando dicha mezcla con dicha solución concentrada de HCI en un tercer compartimiento, produciendo así una masa de reacción;f) someter dicha masa de reacción a una separación de fases, separando así un residuo insoluble de una solución principal; y recuperar selectivamente especies metálicas valiosas de dicha solución principal.An essentially open circuit process for recovering valuable metallic species from a laterite type raw material, said process comprises the sequential or non-sequential steps of: a) separating the laterite type raw material into a first and second fractions; b) reacting a acid with a chloride salt in a first compartment, thus generating gaseous HCI; c) chlorinating said first fraction with said gaseous HCI in a second compartment, thereby producing a chlorinated fraction, where the excess of HCI is recovered and dissolved in water, thus producing a concentrated HCI solution; d) combining said chlorinated fraction and said second fraction in a mixture; e) leaching said mixture with said concentrated HCI solution in a third compartment, thereby producing a reaction mass; f) subjecting said mass reaction to a phase separation, thus separating an insoluble residue from a main solution; and selectively recover valuable metallic species from said main solution.
