Un compuesto CARACTERIZADO porque tiene la fórmula estructural:<EMI FILE="00025244_1" ID="1" IMF=JPEG >donde R1 es O, (H,H), (H,OR), NOR, siendo R hidrógeno, (C1-6)-alquilo o (C1-6)acilo;R2 es (C2-3)alquilo, isopropilo, (C2-3)1-alquenilo, isopropenilo, 1,2-propadienilo o (C2-3)1-alquinilo, cada uno opcionalmente sustituido por halógeno; o R2 es ciclopropilo o ciclopropenilo, cada uno opcionalmente sustituido por (C1-2)alquilo o halógeno;R3 es hidrógeno, (C1-2)alquilo o etenilo;R4 es (C1-2)alquilo;R5 es hidrógeno o (C1-15)acilo;y las líneas de puntos indican enlaces opcionales;con la salvedad de que el compuesto no es (7a, 17ß)-7-etil-17-hidroxiestr-4-en-3-ona (7a-etil-19-nortestosterona) o un éster carboxílico de la misma, y no es (7a-17ß)-17-(acetil-oxi)-7-propilestr-4-en-3-ona (acetato de 7a-propil-19-nortestosterona).
