Una composición de vidrio del tipo de sílice-sosa-cal que seintenta convertir en vidrio plano utilizando el proceso flotación, caracterizada porque el contenido de óxidos de metal alcalino está entre 9 y 13,3%. Una composición de vidrio de acuerdo con la reivindicación 8, caracterizada porque la matriz comprende los constituyentes abajo relacionados, en las siguientes proporciones por peso:SiO273,6%Al2 O30,6%Na2 O 13,1%K2 O 0,2%CaO 8,4%MgO 3,6%Fe2 O3 0,1%otros óxidos 0,4%
