Abstract

Un método para aplicar aditivos químicos a fibras celulósicas que comprende: crear una solución de fibra que comprende agua, fibras celulósicas, y un aditivo químico adsorbible; desaguar la solución de fibra para remover el aditivo químico no adsorbido; y redispersar las fibras con agua fresca. Un suministro de fibra producido usando el método descrito tal y como se reivindica en la cláusula 1, caracterizado porque la cantidad de aditivo químico adsorbida sobre las fibras es de 2 kilogramos por tonelada métrica o más, y la cantidad de aditivo químico no adsorbido en el agua está entre 0 y 20 por ciento de la cantidad de aditivo químico adsorbido sobre las fibras. 3Un producto de papel que comprende una pluralidad de capas unitarias, el producto de papel hecho usando el método tal y como se reivindica en la cláusula 2, caracterizado porque comprende una capa central que consiste esencialmente de fibras de madera suave y dos capas exteriores que comprenden 70 por ciento o más de fibras de madera dura.
