Abstract

Los aditivos químicos pueden ser adsorbidos sobre las fibras celulosicas para hacer papel a niveles superiores con una cantidad mínima de aditivos químicosno adsorbidos presentes en el agua de proceso para hacer papel. Un método incluye tratar unale chada de fibra con un exceso del aditivo químico, permitiendo untiempo de residencia suficiente para que ocurra la adsorcion, filtrar la lechada para remover los aditivos químicos no adsorbidos, y redispensar la pulpafiltrada con agua fresca. Elfilt rado del proceso de espesamiento contiene el aditivo químico no adsorbido y éste no se envía hacia adelante en el proceso conlas fibras tratadas químicamente. El método puede emplearse para hacer productos de papel mejorados.
