Abstract

Un método para hacer una hoja de tisú voluminosa que comprende:(a) depositar una suspensión acuosa de fibras para hacer papel sobre una tela formadora para formar un tejido de tisú húmedo, dichas fibras para hacer papel comprenden por lo menos alrededor de 10 por ciento por peso seco de fibras elásticas-húmedas modificada; (b) desaguar parcialmente el tejido húmedo a una consistencia de alrededor de 15 por ciento o mayor; (c) comprimir el tejido parcialmente desaguado en una prensa de punto de sujeción extendida de alta intensidad para desaguar adicionalmente el tejido en la consistencia de alrededor de 35 por ciento o mayor; y (d) secar finalmente el tejido, en donde el volumen del tejido desaguado antes del secado final es mayor de (-0.02c + 3.11), en donde "C" es la consistencia del tejido dejando la prensa de punto de sujeción extendida de alta intensidad, expresada como porciento de sequedad, y el volumen es expresado como centímetros cúbicos por gramo.
