Abstract
La presente invención está dirigida a regiones regulatorias 5´de un gen de albúmina de girasol. Las regiones regulatorias 5´, cuando están ligadas operativamente ya sea a la secuencia de codificación de un gen heterólogo o a una secuencia complementaria para un gen de planta nativo dirige la expresión de la secuencia de codificación o la secuencia complementaria en una semilla de planta. Las regiones regulatorias son útiles en cartuchos de expresión y vectores de expresión para la transformación de plantas. Asimismo están provistos métodos para la modulación de los niveles de un gen heterólogo o de un gen de planta nativo tal como la síntesis de ácido oleoso o un gen de metabolismo lípido por medio de transformar una planta con cartuchos de expresión sujetos a vectores de expresión.
