Abstract
Se presenta un método de simulación inmersiva para entrenar una tripulación en el uso de una torreta de un vehículo blindado. La torreta comprende un computador de control, así como interfaces de adquisición e interfaces de renderización. El computador y las interfaces se conectan entre sí por medio de un bus de computador. De acuerdo con el método, el computador de control se conecta a un computador de simulación, al cual este comunica el estado de la torreta ; el computador de simulación produce un entorno virtual que se presenta por lo menos en parte a la tripulación por medio de las interfaces de renderización ; una o más unidades de equipo motorizadas de la torreta están en operación ; y los comandos ingresados por la tripulación mediante las interfaces de adquisición a las unidades de equipo motorizadas, que están en operación, se transmiten a estas últimas, de manera que los movimientos de estas unidades de equipo que se originan por estos comandos inducen en la tripulación sensaciones de una índole óptica o auditiva y/o de aceleración.
