Abstract
Resumen La presente invención hace referencia al tratamiento de aguas residuales industriales y más particularmente al agua residual de una planta de fertilizantes tal como un nitrofosfato, otra planta de fertilizantes minerales u organominerales. El ion cloruro se puede eliminar por electrólisis y en aspectos más particulares de la invención, la electrólisis se hace más eficiente al aumentar el transporte de masa dentro de la celda electroquímica. Un método particularmente efectivo para aumentar el transporte de masa es el uso de chorros de electrolito. Al reducir la concentración de cloruro en las aguas residuales de fertilizantes, es posible recircular de manera segura las aguas residuales nuevamente a la planta de fertilizantes.
