Description

组合密封环包括一个环形的第一密封元件和一个环形的第二密封元件。第一密封元件是由相对较易变形材料制造,并且机械地陷进保留在第二密封元件内。
第二密封元件是由相对坚固的材料例如硬的热塑性塑料制成的,它有倒锥形的面,其作用是对第一密封元件起着推挤压的支承。还有,第二密封元件含有第二密封唇缘,其作用好似装置上多余的密封,而且它随后当第一密封件移动时受力。
超越类似装置提供的优点是,不要求像现行密封环对第二密封元件施加压力,而产生优越的最初密封,并且在遇到液体高粘度和温度低时,在低压力使用时,有使油膜分开的作用。第二密封元件,当压力增大时,随后受到用力,因而在系统的受压力的整个范围内,对第一密封元件起着好似多余密封的作用。第一和第二密封件之间相互作用的结构,可阻止在第二密封元件和油缸壁之间的相对较软的第一密封元件的挤压。

依照本发明最理想的实例,一个组合密封环包括一个第一密封元件,接合于U型的第二密封元件,第一密封元件10是由相对较软的和可变形弹性体例如合成橡胶或合成弹性体,或者由热固性或热塑性塑料制造的。第一密封元件10,在肖氏硬度计A档刻度有60至90的硬度值。
第二密封元件12,通常是U型的横断面,是由相对坚固稍有可变性和可弯曲性的材料制造的,包括可弯曲的或相对坚固的弹性体,相对硬些的橡胶,或者热固性的或热塑性的塑料,例如聚胺脂或聚酰胺塑料,按肖氏硬度计A挡刻度有95至125的硬度值。在所有场合下,第二密封元件的材料是比第一密封元件的材料硬些和稍不易变形。

如图3所示的装配状态中,元件10的位于唇缘28和30之间的中央凹坑,由如图2所显示的最初状态变形而来,使唇缘28和30容易弯曲,因此在油缸壁22和活塞壁24上保持一斜面,甚至虽然在油缸22无显著的液体压力时也如此。换句话说,元件12的唇缘18和20,以及元件10的唇缘28和30,装配时都变形,致使和油缸23的壁22和油塞26的壁24保持最初的密封接触。

Claims (2)

1、一种组合密封环,用来安置在具有中心轴线的圆形元件,上述密封环的特征是其包括有:
一个环状第一密封元件,有肖氏硬度计A档刻度有60至90的硬度值;
一个环状第二密封元件,在肖氏硬度计A档刻度有95至125的硬度值;
上述第二元件通常是U型的径向剖切面,限定于由径向延伸的弯曲部分连结的径向间隔轴向延伸的支臂;
上述第二密封元件的支臂,通常是分别和上述圆形元件与支承元件的壁相啮合;
上述第二元件上的支臂,有轴向锥形端面,分别向着其弯曲部分轴向和径向地倾斜;
上述第一元件有一对径向间隔的唇缘,以轴向地和径向地的斜面,补充地和以并列关系至上述第二元件的端面,以阻止上述第一元件的挤压传递至上述第二元件的支臂上。
2、根据权利要求1的密封环,其特征是上述第一密封元件上的唇缘,径向地倾斜向着上述第二密封元件的弯曲部分,由此上述第一密封元件的斜面和上述第二密封件上锥形端面之间的接合面,比锥形端面的径向尺寸小。
