【技术领域】本实用新型是有关一种电连接器,尤其指一种可对端子进行保护的电源连接器。
【背景技术】电连接器广泛的应用于电子领域内,可达成对接电连接器和电路板的电信传输。在与对接电连接器进行对接的过程中,由于需要稳定的电信传输,连接器与对接连接器就必须有一定的接触力存在,该接触力的存在则会导致在与对接连接器的插拔过程中产生一定的插拔力,在与对接连接器经过多次插拔后,就会使端子产生变形或者对端子产生一定的损伤,进而影响到端子与电路板之间的电信的传输。
如公告于2002年7月10日的中国专利CN2499994Y号及公告于2003年5月7日的中国专利CN2549606Y号均揭示了一种电连接器,其包括有遮蔽壳体及切换端子,遮蔽壳体与切换端子均焊接于电路板上,当与对接连接器插拔时,遮蔽壳体便被施加了一定的插拔力,而减少了切换端子上所施加的插拔力,对切换端子起到了一定的保护。然而,切换端子位于遮蔽壳体的后侧,当对接连接器进行插拔尤其是对接连接器插入时,大部分的力仍然施加在切换端子上,对接连接器多次的插入就仍会对切换端子产生损伤,进而影响到端子与电路板之间的电信的传输。
所以需要设计一种新型的电连接器来克服上述缺陷以更好的保护端子。
【实用新型内容】本实用新型的目的在于提供一种电连接器,其可以保护导电端子,从而保持良好的电信传输。
为实现上述目的,本实用新型电连接器采用如下技术方案:一种电连接器,其包括绝缘本体、导电端子、中心端子及包覆于绝缘本体上的遮蔽壳体,该遮蔽壳体设有用以焊接于电路板上的焊接脚,绝缘本体包括前端面、后端面、上顶面、下底面及一对侧面,自上述前端面向后端面延伸形成有用以收容对接电连接器的收容腔以及用以收容上述导电端子和中心端子的收容槽,每一导电端子设有用以焊接于电路板上的焊接部,上述导电端子的焊接部位于与其处于上述绝缘本体同一侧面的遮蔽壳体的焊接脚之间。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器通过将导电端子设置于遮蔽壳体的焊接脚之间,在对接电连接器的多次插拔中,焊接脚承受了大部分的插拔力以减少对导电端子产生的损伤,可以很好的保护导电端子从而更好的实现导电端子与电路板之间电信传输。

【具体实施方式】请参阅图1所示,本实用新型电连接器1包括有绝缘本体10、第一导电端子20、第二导电端子30、中心端子40、前遮蔽壳体50及后遮蔽壳体60。
请继续参阅图1至图4所示,绝缘本体10大致呈立方体型,其具有前端面11、后端面12、上顶面13、下底面14及一对相互平行的侧面15。自前端面11向后端面12方向凹陷形成一个收容腔,在本实用新型中,该收容腔是一个圆柱状开孔16。自绝缘本体10的上顶面13靠近前端面11处开设有与开孔16连通的方形口130,可在传输电流时起到散热的作用。请配合参阅图3所示,自开孔16后端贯穿后端面12形成收容孔,该收容孔分为前端孔17和后端孔18,其中前端孔17的直径为d1,后端孔18的直径为d2,d1大于d2。本实用新型中,开孔16和前端孔17在同一轴线上,而后端孔18和开孔16及前端孔17不在同一轴线上。请再配合参阅图5所示,于后端孔18处在后端面12上形成有一对凸片120,其是从后端面12处向远离后端面12的方向凸设形成且两凸片120内侧各相对凸设形成有阻挡块1201(参阅图3),远离后端面12的端部设有坡形导引部1202。凸片120的正上方还开设有矩形槽道121,其向前延伸一定距离并与开孔16及方形口130相贯通。上顶面13靠近后端面12处向下凹陷连通矩形槽道121并于侧面15上形成有台阶部122,台阶部122上方,于矩形槽道121与上顶面13相接处向两侧面15内形成第一收容槽123及124,且第一收容槽124远离矩形槽道121的一侧沿平行于侧面15所处的平面方向向下延伸一定距离于侧面15内形成『L』型狭槽125,该狭槽125的末端是沿垂直于侧面15所处平面方向向外贯穿侧面15形成。台阶部122下方,于矩形槽道121的适当位置上向两侧面15内形成第二收容槽126及127,第二收容槽126于矩形槽道121相贯通的一侧沿平行于侧面1 5所处平面方向向下延伸一定距离于侧面15内形成『L』型狭槽128,该狭槽128的末端是沿垂直于侧面15所处平面方向向外贯穿另一侧面15形成。
请继续参阅图1所示,绝缘本体10的下底面14两侧设有凹槽141和凹槽142,其中凹槽141靠近后端面12处向上形成有空间143,该空间143可以使电连接器与电路板准确地对接。一对侧面15上分别对称的设有凸块150,其与上顶面12和下底面14相接处设有凸肋152。
第一导电端子20包括本体部21,本体部21的一端弯折延伸形成大致呈『U』型的弹性部22,弹性部22的自由端处形成有接触部23。本体21的另一端延伸有大致与本体21垂直的呈『L』型连接部24,自连接部24的末端一侧向下延伸形成焊接部25。第二导电端子30包括本体部31,自本体部31一侧沿大致垂直于本体部31方向延伸形成有呈『L』型连接部32,于连接部32的末端一侧向前延伸一定距离,然后该延伸端一侧再向下弯折延伸形成有焊接部33。请配合参阅图4和图5所示,当第一导电端子20和第二导电端子30设置于绝缘本体10内时,第一导电端子20的本体部21架设于第一收容槽123、124及矩形槽道121所形成的空间内,连接部24收容于相应的『L』型狭槽125内,焊接部25则伸出于侧面15外,弹性部22和接触部23收容于矩形槽道121内。第二导电端子30的本体部31架设于第二收容槽126、127及矩形槽道121所形成的空间内,连接部32收容于相应的『L』型狭槽128内,焊接部33则伸出另一侧面15外,其中第一导电端子20的接触部23搭接于第二导电端子30的本体31上。该第一导电端子20及第二导电端子30可用来接地或传导信号。
请参阅图1、图3和图4所示,中心端子40充当电源正、负极,其采用一体式结构,包括与对接电连接器接合的对接部41、与电路板(未图示)相接的接合部43及连接对接部41和接合部43的固持部42。在本实用新型中,对接部41、固持部42及接合部43均呈圆柱形,其中固持部42的直径大小大致与绝缘本体10的前端孔17的直径d1相等,接合部43的直径大小大致与绝缘本体10的后端孔18的直径d2相等,d1大于d2。中心端子40从绝缘本体10的前端面11组入开孔16中,接合部43则穿过前端孔17及后端孔18延伸于绝缘本体10外,而固持部41由于其直径d1大于后端孔18的直径d2,无法通过后端孔18,从而被阻挡于后端孔18前方收容于前端孔17内。因此,当对接电连接器插入时,便可阻挡中心端子沿插入方向后退。中心端子40的接合部43延伸出绝缘本体10后卡合于凸片120所形成的空间,并于凸片120的坡形导引部1202处进行弯折,使其弯折部正好卡在凸片120的阻挡块1201后面,这样,当对接连接器(未图示)拔出时,阻挡块1201阻挡住中心端子40的接合部43的弯折段,防止其沿拔出方向移动。
请参阅图1、图2和图5所示,本实用新型电连接器还设有两遮蔽壳体,前遮蔽壳体50遮覆于绝缘被体的前端面11,其中央开设有与绝缘本体10的开孔16同轴且同径的孔51,孔51边缘向内设有若干弹片52。前遮蔽壳体50上下两侧设有接触片53,其包覆于上顶面13和下底面14与前端面11相接处,前遮蔽壳体50左右两侧对称设有两翼部54,翼部54的两侧形成缺口55,该翼部54借助于缺口55卡扣于凸肋152处。
后遮蔽壳体60大致呈『U』型结构,其包括两侧壁61,该侧壁61相邻前端面11和后端面12的两侧各形成焊接脚62和63,于焊接脚62和63间,侧壁61设有固持脚64,于固持脚64上对应于绝缘本体10的两侧面15的凸块150设置有凹口65,后遮蔽壳体60的后部相应于绝缘本体10的台阶部122处设有抵接部66。当后遮蔽壳体60组装于绝缘本体上时,凸块150扣持于凹口65内,固持脚64锁扣于绝缘本体10的下底面14的凹槽141和142内,抵接部66抵接于绝缘本体10上,防止当对接连接器插入时,绝缘本体10产生偏移,第一导电端子20的焊接部25和第二导电端子的焊接部33均分别伸出于绝缘本体10的两侧面15后位于后遮蔽壳体60的对应的两侧壁61的固持脚62和63之间。当对接电连接器进行插入时所产生插入力便主要施加于固持脚63上,当对接电连接器进行拔出时所产生拔出力便主要施加于固持脚62上,这样对接连接器进行插拔时对导电端子所施加的插拔力就很小,这样就起到了保护端子的作用。
