Description

Stretch film packaging machine
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a stretch film packaging machine according to embodiment 1.
Background
Such stretch film wrapping machines are generally known and have been described, for example, in DE 3925796 a 1. Such stretch film wrapping machines have actively actuated protective barriers in the region of the forming tool outlet and in the region of the sealing tool inlet. The actively actuable protective screen is moved downwards during the time periods between the respective working cycles, i.e. during the chain feed, in order to provide sufficient space for the stretched carrier film to pass the downwardly offset protective screen. During a work cycle in which the hazardous locations of the forming tool and the sealing tool must be protected, the respective actively actuable protective flap is brought into the upper position, as a result of which the intrusion gaps into the respective hazardous locations of the forming tool and the sealing tool can be kept as small as possible. The penetration gap can be designed to be smaller than the packaging tension (packungtiefzug) if the actively actuable protective screen is mounted in a height-adjustable manner between the tensioned recesses. Although the protective screen, which is mounted in a height-adjustable manner, makes it possible to implement an acceptable safety solution for avoiding intrusions into the dangerous regions of the forming tool and the sealing tool, the implementation of such a solution is associated with the machine cycle time of the stretch film packaging machine and the associated increased manufacturing costs.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
An object of the utility model is to provide a safe scheme that cost-effective, accord with the standard for stretch film packaging machine. This object is achieved by a stretch film wrapping machine having the features of embodiment 1. In other embodiments, advantageous refinements of the invention are specified.
According to the utility model discloses a stretch film packaging machine is including being arranged in drawing the shaping station that stretches out the recess in the membrane, and wherein this recess has predetermined groove height. The stretch film wrapping machine further includes: a filling section located downstream of the forming station in the conveying direction for filling the product into the recess; a sealing station for sealing the groove downstream of the filling section in the conveying direction; a chain guide for guiding a conveying chain for the film; and at least one protection device assigned to the outlet of the forming station and/or to the inlet of the sealing station below the film with reference to the direction of transport, in order to prevent intrusion into the hazardous area formed at the forming station and/or the sealing station.
According to the invention, the protective device comprises a protective wall which is mounted immovably, i.e. fixed, in relation to the film conveying surface below the film during operation of the stretch film packaging machine after the forming station and/or before the sealing station in the conveying direction, and which is preferably oriented perpendicular to the film conveying surface, i.e. transverse to the longitudinal machine length, as a transverse wall with reference to the conveying direction. The insertion region formed between the forming station and the sealing station can therefore be better protected first, since no intrusion into the hazardous area of the forming station and/or the sealing station is possible from the insertion region or from the insertion section. The risk of accidents is thus also reduced for manually loading the product.
In contrast to conventional stretch film packaging machines, the protective wall, which is formed at the outlet of the forming station and/or at the inlet of the sealing station located further downstream, is in the present invention fixedly supported at the stretch film packaging machine, for example at a chain guide mounted thereon. This achieves the advantage, on the one hand, that the stretch film wrapping machine can be produced in a cost-effective manner overall, since the protective wall no longer requires an adjustment mechanism. Maintenance and cleaning costs can thereby also be reduced. However, this also has the advantage, in particular, that the fixedly mounted protective wall does not influence the machine cycle in relation to the protective screen which can travel according to the machine cycle, so that a higher cycle efficiency for the operation of the stretch film packaging machine can be achieved.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a protective cover, for example in the form of a hood, is arranged above the film at the outlet of the forming station and/or at the inlet of the sealing station. The wall formed at the protective cover and the protective wall mounted under the membrane are preferably arranged in a common positioning plane. In order to form an excellent safety solution for stretch film packaging machines, the hood-shaped protective cover can thus form, together with a protective wall which is fixedly mounted beneath the film, a protective module downstream of the forming station and/or upstream of the sealing station.
Advantageously, the protective lower edge of the wall formed on the protective cover and the protective upper edge of the protective wall together form a gap with a fixed gap width, which is at most 22 mm. The gap, which is configured in a constant manner during operation of the stretch film packaging machine, enables the stretch film to pass through on the one hand and prevents an intrusion into the danger zone of the forming station and/or the sealing station located downstream thereof on the other hand.
The safety concept specified for stretch film packaging machines can be improved by the protective device having a trough-shaped protective base, for example a floor, at least in some regions. Such a protective base can be formed integrally with the protective wall or be fastened to the frame as a separately supported component. A protective base, which is embodied in the form of a trough at the forming station, can cover the lower part of the tool of the forming station, which is supported in a raisable manner, at the forming station in such a way that intrusion into the lifting region of the forming station can be avoided. In a similar manner, the lifting region provided at the sealing station can be covered by means of a trough-shaped protective base at the sealing station in order to prevent intrusion from the outside. The risk of accidents at the forming station and/or the sealing station can thereby be further reduced.
For an advantageous and in particular cost-effective configuration, the protective wall is fixed at a chain guide of the stretch film packaging machine. The chain guide provides a firm and stable support for the protective wall. In particular, the protective wall can be fixed at the chain guide profile below the guide rail for the conveyor chain fixed there.
In order to produce different package sizes, it is advantageous if the protective wall is fastened to the stretch film packaging machine in such a way that it can be adjusted at different installation heights. The protective wall can therefore be positioned at the stretch film wrapping machine at different suspension heights depending on the groove height to be produced of the groove stretched in the forming station. In particular, therefore, the gap width of the above-described gap between the protective wall and the protective cover arranged above it can also be varied.
Preferably, the protective wall is arranged in a mounting or positioning surface, which extends perpendicular to the film conveying surface of the stretch film wrapping machine and perpendicular to the conveying direction. The protective wall thus forms a plate-like transverse wall in the frame of the stretch film wrapping machine, which transverse wall can be easily cleaned because the cleaning agent can flow out smoothly therefrom. In addition, a compact design is also achieved thereby.
According to an advantageous embodiment variant of the invention, the protective wall is a plate-shaped partition (schottky) which is supported in a screwed manner on the protective device. The partition is in particular of closed design. It is conceivable that the protective wall can be blocked and/or that the arrangement of the protective wall can be checked by means of the sensor element.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention provides that the protective wall can be fixed in the stretch film packaging machine in a manner adjustable in the conveying direction below the film. In particular, the protective wall can be fixed at different bearing positions along the chain guide in the conveying direction.
The protective wall, which is fixedly mounted during operation on the stretch film packaging machine according to the invention, forms a protective wall oriented transversely to the longitudinal direction of the stretch film packaging machine at a predetermined distance after the forming station and/or at a predetermined distance before the sealing station, which is suitable for preventing intrusion into dangerous locations at the forming station and/or the sealing station.
The protective wall can be produced in a cost-effective manner and is particularly suitable for standard-compliant safety solutions of stretch film packaging machines. Advantageously, the immovable support of the protective wall enables an increased cycle efficiency of the operation of the stretch film wrapping machine.

Detailed Description
Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of an intermittently operating stretch film wrapping machine 1 according to the present invention. The stretch film wrapping machine 1 has a forming station 2, a sealing station 3, a transverse cutting device 4, and a longitudinal cutting device 5, which are arranged in this order on a frame 6 in a conveying direction R. On the input side, a supply roll 7 is arranged on the machine frame 6, from which a carrier film 8 is drawn off. The stretch film wrapping machine 1 furthermore has a conveyor chain 11, in particular a conveyor chain or gripper chain 11 arranged on both sides, which grips the carrier film 8 and conveys the carrier film 8 further in the conveying direction R in each main operating cycle.
In the embodiment shown, the shaping station 2 is configured as a stretching station, in which the recesses M are formed in the carrier film 8 by stretching, for example by means of compressed air and/or vacuum (see fig. 2). Here, the forming station 2 may be configured such that a plurality of grooves M are formed side by side in a direction perpendicular to the conveying direction R. After the shaping station 2 in the conveying direction R, a filling section 12 is provided, in which filling section 12 the recesses formed in the carrier film 8 are filled with the product.
The sealing station 3 has a sealably closed chamber 3a in which the atmosphere in the recess M can be evacuated and/or replaced by gas purging with an exchange gas or a gas mixture, for example, before sealing by means of the upper film 10 output from the upper film receptacle 9.
The transverse cutting device 4 may be configured as a blanking machine which severs the bottom film 8 and the top film 10 between adjacent recesses M in a direction transverse to the conveying direction R. The transverse cutting device 4 is operated in such a way that the carrier film 8 is not cut over the entire width, but at least in the edge regions. This enables a controlled further transport by means of the conveyor chain 11.
The longitudinal cutting device 5 can be configured as a knife device, by means of which the base film 8 and the upper film 10 are cut off in the conveying direction R between adjacent recesses M and at the side edges of the base film 8, so that the packages are separated after the longitudinal cutting device 5.
The right and left conveyor chains 11 and 11 of the stretch film wrapping machine 1, which grasp the base film 8 on both sides, are respectively guided in chain guide portions 13. The chain guides 13 are each protected to the outside by a side wall 14 of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 and are optionally fastened to the side wall 14. The side dams 14 may be plate members.
Further, the stretch film wrapping machine 1 has a control section 19. The task is to control and monitor the processes taking place in stretch film wrapping machine 1. The display device 20 with the operating elements 21 serves to display the process sequence in the stretch film wrapping machine 1 to an operator or to influence the process sequence in the stretch film wrapping machine 1 by the operator.
In the switch cabinet 22, central electrical and/or electronic components of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 are arranged, for example, connection components to an external power supply. The side of stretch film wrapping machine 1 facing the viewer in fig. 1 is an operating side B, on which an operator is positioned to actuate operating elements 21 or, if appropriate, to fill the packaging recesses along filling section 12. The switch cabinet 22 is disposed on the side of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 opposite the operation side B.
Fig. 2 shows a protective device 15, which is fastened below the carrier film 8 in order to avoid intrusion into the hazardous area of the forming station 2. The same type of protection device can be supported at the entrance of the sealing station 3 positioned further downstream along the conveying direction R.
In fig. 2, the protective device 15 is assigned in particular to the outlet 16 of the forming station 2. The protective device 15 comprises a protective wall 17 which is fixedly supported on a chain guide profile 18 of the chain guide 13. The protective walls 17 can be fixed in the conveying direction R at openings 23a, 23b formed in the chain guide profile 18 in a staggered manner in order to support the protective walls 17 at different distances from the outlet 16 of the forming station 2. According to fig. 2, the protective wall 17 is designed as a partition, i.e. as a closed plate.
The protective wall 17 fastened to the chain guide 13 according to fig. 2 remains supported in a positionally fixed manner with respect to the transport plane E shown as a reference plane, regardless of the machine cycle of the stretch film wrapping machine 1 during operation of the stretch film wrapping machine 1.
Arranged after the shaping station 2 in the transport direction R above the guided carrier film 8 is a hood-shaped protective cover 24, which prevents the possibility of penetrating from above the carrier film 8 into a hazardous area of the shaping station 2.
Fig. 2 also shows that the protective cap 24 has a wall 25 forming a side wall at the protective cap 24. This wall 25 is arranged together with the protective wall 17, which is fixedly mounted below the carrier film 8, in a common positioning plane L, which extends perpendicularly to the conveying direction R and is shown in fig. 2 by dashed lines. A gap S is formed between the wall 25 of the protective cap 24 and the protective wall 17, through which gap S a recess M drawn out in the base film 8 passes. The gap S has a gap width W defined by a protective lower edge 26 of the wall 25 and a protective upper edge 27 of the protective wall 17. The gap width W is configured to be slightly larger than the groove height H of the groove M.
Fig. 2 also shows that the protective wall 17 is fastened in a screwed manner to a trough-shaped protective base 28 of the protective device 15. A trough-shaped protective base 28 extends from protective wall 17 counter to conveying direction R to below a further hood-shaped protective cover 29, which is positioned on machine frame 6 in conveying direction R upstream of forming station 2.
In order to prevent the possibility of intrusion into hazardous areas of the forming station 2, the protective device 15 shown in fig. 2, which comprises protective covers 25, 29 positioned before and after the forming station 2, provides an excellent safety solution which can be achieved in a cost-effective manner in the area of the forming station 2.
In contrast to fig. 2, the protective cover 31, which is positioned on the machine frame 6 at its inlet 30 before the sealing station 3 in fig. 1, can form an acceptable safety solution by means of the protective wall 17' fixedly mounted thereunder, which prevents the possibility of intrusion into the hazardous area of the downstream sealing station 3, at least from the filling section 12.
