Description

Vehicle body side structure
Technical Field
The utility model relates to a car body lateral part structure.
Background
In the related art, as a vehicle body side portion structure, a structure in which a lower end of a center pillar is joined to a side sill has been widely adopted. Fig. 3 is a perspective view showing a joint portion between the center pillar 1 and the side sill 2. Fig. 4 is a sectional view taken along line IV-IV in fig. 3. IN each figure, the direction of arrow IN indicates the inside IN the vehicle width direction; the direction of arrow FR indicates the front side in the vehicle body front-rear direction; the direction of arrow UP indicates the upper side.
The side sill 2 is joined by a side sill inner panel 21 and a side sill reinforcing panel 22 each having a hat-shaped cross section to constitute a closed cross-sectional structure. The vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21 is joined to one end (the outer end in the vehicle width direction) of the floor panel 3. A carpet 4 is laid along the floor 3 and the vertical portion 23 of the side sill inner panel 21. Further, a side sill outer panel 24 as a decorative panel is disposed on the vehicle width direction outer side of the side sill reinforcing panel 22. Symbol 7 in fig. 4 denotes a side door.
The center pillar 1 is joined to a center pillar outer panel 11 and a center pillar inner panel 12 each having a hat-shaped cross section to form a closed cross-sectional structure. The lower end of the center pillar outer panel 11 is joined to the vertical portion 25 of the side sill reinforcing panel 22. A center pillar lower gusset 13 is joined to a lower end portion of the center pillar inner panel 12. The center pillar lower gusset 13 overlaps the upper plate portion 26 and the vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21, respectively. The center pillar lower gusset 13 includes a horizontal portion 14 extending along the upper plate portion 26 of the rocker inner panel 21 and a vertical portion 15 extending along the vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21, and the horizontal portion 14 is overlapped and joined (spot welded) to the upper plate portion 26 of the rocker inner panel 21 and the vertical portion 15 are joined to the vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21, respectively.
The upper plate portion 26 of the rocker inner panel 21 and the horizontal portion 14 of the center pillar lower gusset 13 are formed with a wire clip mounting hole H, respectively. The clip mounting hole H is a hole provided for mounting the clip member 5, and the clip member 5 is used to fix the wire harness WH arranged along the side member 2 and extending in the vehicle body front-rear direction.
In the above-described vehicle body side portion structure, when the vehicle passes a road surface or the like where water accumulates, the water may enter the inside of the side member 2. For example, water may enter the rocker 2 through a hole provided in the rocker 2 for paint removal in an electric spray painting (electric spray painting in a vehicle body production line), a small gap existing in a portion where the rocker inner panel 21 overlaps the rocker reinforcement panel 22, or the like. In this case, if the water surface of the water entering the rocker 2 is wavy as the vehicle travels, the water may flow into the vehicle interior through the clip mounting hole H from a gap (a gap generated in a region other than the spot welding point) between the upper plate portion 26 of the rocker inner panel 21 and the horizontal portion 14 of the center pillar lower gusset 13 (as indicated by a broken-line arrow in fig. 4).
As a means for solving the above problem, it is conceivable to adopt the structure shown in fig. 5. That is, before the center pillar lower gusset 13 is overlapped with the rocker inner panel 21, the seal member 6 surrounding the clip attachment hole H is adhered to the upper surface of the upper plate portion 26 of the rocker inner panel 21. The sealing member 6 is made of resin or rubber. That is, the seal member 6 surrounding the clip mounting hole H is disposed between the side sill inner panel 21 and the center pillar lower gusset 13, and the waterproof function of the seal member 6 prevents water from flowing into the vehicle interior (as indicated by the broken line arrow in fig. 5) from the gap between the side sill inner panel 21 and the center pillar lower gusset 13. In the above configuration, an adhesive may be applied instead of the sealing member 6.
However, in the case of the above-described configuration, since the center pillar lower gusset 13 is overlapped on the upper plate portion 26 of the side sill inner panel 21 after the sealing member 6 is bonded, when the side sill inner panel 21 is moved in the horizontal direction with respect to the center pillar lower gusset 13 as shown in fig. 6 when the operation of overlapping the two is performed, the center pillar lower gusset 13 comes into contact with the sealing member 6, and an external force in a direction (see a dotted arrow in fig. 6) to peel off the sealing member 6 may be applied. If the sealing member 6 is peeled off, the waterproof function as described above cannot be exerted.
SUMMERY OF THE UTILITY MODEL
In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a structure for a side portion of a vehicle body that can prevent water entering the side sill from entering the vehicle interior.
As a means for solving the above-described problems, the present invention provides a vehicle body side portion structure including a side sill inner panel and a center pillar, wherein an upper surface of an upper plate portion of the side sill inner panel overlaps and is joined to a horizontal portion of a panel member constituting the center pillar, a vehicle width direction inner surface of a vertical portion of the side sill inner panel overlaps and is joined to the vertical portion of the panel member, the upper plate portion of the side sill inner panel and the horizontal portion of the panel member respectively form an opening, and an annular seal member is provided between the upper plate portion of the side sill inner panel and the horizontal portion of the panel member, the annular seal member being surrounded by the opening, the vehicle body side portion structure being characterized in that: the seal member has a horizontal seal portion and a vertical seal portion, the horizontal seal portion being attached to an upper surface of the upper plate portion of the rocker inner panel and being located between the upper plate portion of the rocker inner panel and the horizontal portion of the panel member in a state where the upper surface of the upper plate portion of the rocker inner panel overlaps the horizontal portion of the panel member; the vertical seal portion is connected to the horizontal seal portion and attached to an inner side surface of the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel in the vehicle width direction, and is located between the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel and the vertical portion of the panel member in a state where the inner side surface of the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel in the vehicle width direction overlaps the vertical portion of the panel member.
The utility model discloses an above-mentioned automobile body lateral part structure's advantage lies in, can prevent to get into the rivers in the boundary beam and go into the automobile cabin. Specifically, since the seal member has the horizontal seal portion and the vertical seal portion mounted on the upper surface of the upper plate portion of the rocker inner panel, the horizontal seal portion is located between the upper plate portion of the rocker inner panel and the horizontal portion of the panel member in a state where the upper surface of the upper plate portion of the rocker inner panel overlaps the horizontal portion of the panel member; the vertical seal portion is attached to the inner side surface in the vehicle width direction of the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel, and is located between the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel and the vertical portion of the panel member in a state where the inner side surface in the vehicle width direction of the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel and the vertical portion of the panel member overlap each other. Therefore, when the roof side rail inner panel is moved in the horizontal direction with respect to the panel member to a position overlapping the panel member, even if the panel member comes into contact with the seal member, the seal member is less likely to peel off because the vertical seal portion is attached to the vertical portion of the roof side rail inner panel that is substantially perpendicular to the direction in which the external force generated by the contact acts. Thus, the sealing member can exhibit a waterproof function in a state where the side sill inner panel and the panel member are overlapped, and thus, water entering the side sill can be prevented from flowing into the vehicle interior.
In the above vehicle body side portion structure of the present invention, it is preferable that the horizontal seal portion includes a 1 st horizontal seal portion which is located more forward in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body than the opening and extends in the vehicle width direction along the upper surface of the upper plate portion of the side sill inner panel; and a 2 nd horizontal seal portion that is located more rearward in the vehicle body longitudinal direction than the opening and extends in the vehicle width direction along an upper surface of the upper plate portion of the rocker inner panel, the vertical seal portion including a 1 st vertical seal portion that is continuous with the 1 st horizontal seal portion and extends in the vertical direction along the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel; a 2 nd vertical sealing portion connected to the 2 nd horizontal sealing portion and extending in an up-down direction along the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel; and a 3 rd vertical seal portion that connects a lower end of the 1 st vertical seal portion and a lower end of the 2 nd vertical seal portion, wherein a protrusion that protrudes inward in the vehicle width direction is provided at a position adjacent to the 3 rd vertical seal portion in an area on the vertical portion of the rocker inner panel that is surrounded by the 1 st vertical seal portion, the 2 nd vertical seal portion, and the 3 rd vertical seal portion.
With the above configuration, when the side sill inner panel is moved in the horizontal direction with respect to the panel member to a position overlapping the panel member, even if the panel member comes into contact with the seal member, the 3 rd vertical seal portion of the vertical seal portion is caught by the projection, and the seal member does not move, so that the seal member is less likely to peel off, and the reliability of the waterproof function can be further improved.

Detailed Description
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The structure of the joint portion of the center pillar and the side sill is the same as that described above with reference to fig. 3 and 4. Therefore, differences from the prior art, such as the shape of the sealing member 6 and the state of adhesion of the sealing member 6, will be mainly described.
Fig. 1 is a perspective view showing the attachment portion of the sealing member 6 and its periphery according to the present embodiment. IN fig. 1 and the following drawings, the direction of arrow IN indicates the inside IN the vehicle width direction; the direction of arrow FR indicates the front side in the vehicle body front-rear direction; the direction of arrow UP indicates the upper side. As shown in fig. 1, the rocker inner panel 21 is formed by press working a steel plate to form a hat-shaped cross section, and includes a vertical portion 23, an upper panel portion 26, a flange portion 27, and the like.
The vertical portion 23 is located on the inner side in the vehicle width direction and extends in the vertical (up-down) direction. The upper plate portion 26 extends horizontally from the upper end of the vertical portion 23 toward the outside in the vehicle width direction. The flange portion 27 extends upward from the outer end of the upper plate portion 26 in the vehicle width direction. Further, although not shown in fig. 1, the vehicle body further includes a lower plate portion extending horizontally outward in the vehicle width direction from a lower end of the vertical portion 23, and a flange portion extending downward from an outer end of the lower plate portion in the vehicle width direction.
A cable clip mounting hole (opening) H is formed in the upper plate portion 26. The clip attachment hole H is a hole provided for attaching the clip member 5 as described above, and the clip member 5 is used to fix the wire harness WH (see fig. 4) arranged along the side member 2 and extending in the vehicle body longitudinal direction.
The present embodiment is characterized in that: the seal member 6 is attached to the rocker inner panel 21. The sealing member 6 will be described in detail below.
The sealing member 6 is provided so as to surround the clip installation hole H between the side sill inner panel 21 and the center pillar lower gusset 13 in a state where the side sill inner panel 21 and the center pillar lower gusset 13 (the panel member constituting the center pillar 1) overlap each other, thereby preventing water from flowing into the vehicle interior (from a gap between the side sill inner panel 21 and the center pillar lower gusset 13) by its waterproof function.
As shown in fig. 1, the seal member 6 is first bonded to the rocker inner panel 21 before the center pillar gusset 13 is overlapped with the rocker inner panel 21. The seal member 6 includes a horizontal seal portion 61, a vertical seal portion 62, and an auxiliary seal portion 63.
The horizontal seal portion 61 is mounted on the upper surface of the upper plate portion 26 of the rocker inner panel 21. The horizontal seal portion 61 includes a 1 st horizontal seal portion 61a and a 2 nd horizontal seal portion 61 b. The 1 st horizontal seal portion 61a is located closer to the front side in the vehicle body longitudinal direction than the clip mounting hole H and extends in the vehicle width direction along the upper surface of the upper plate portion 26 of the side sill inner panel 21. The 2 nd horizontal seal portion 61b is located closer to the rear side in the vehicle body longitudinal direction than the clip mounting hole H and extends in the vehicle width direction along the upper surface of the upper plate portion 26 of the side sill inner panel 21.
The vertical seal 62 includes a 1 st vertical seal 62a, a 2 nd vertical seal 62b, and a 3 rd vertical seal 62 c. The 1 st vertical seal portion 62a is continuous with the inside end in the vehicle width direction of the 1 st horizontal seal portion 61a, and extends in the up-down direction along the vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21. The 2 nd vertical seal portion 62b is continuous with the inside end in the vehicle width direction of the 2 nd horizontal seal portion 61b, and extends in the up-down direction along the vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21. The 3 rd vertical seal portion 62c connects the lower end of the 1 st vertical seal portion 62a and the lower end of the 2 nd vertical seal portion 62b, and extends in the vehicle body front-rear direction.
The auxiliary seal 63 includes a 1 st auxiliary seal 63a, a 2 nd auxiliary seal 63b, and a 3 rd auxiliary seal 63 c. The 1 st auxiliary seal portion 63a is continuous with the vehicle width direction outer end of the 1 st horizontal seal portion 61a and extends in the up-down direction along the flange portion 27 of the bead filler inner panel 21. The 2 nd auxiliary seal portion 63b is continuous with the vehicle width direction outer end of the 2 nd horizontal seal portion 61b and extends in the up-down direction along the flange portion 27 of the bead inner panel 21. The 3 rd auxiliary seal portion 63c connects the upper end of the 1 st auxiliary seal portion 63a and the upper end of the 2 nd auxiliary seal portion 63b, and extends in the vehicle body front-rear direction.
In this way, the seal member 6 is formed into a ring shape and is adhered in a state of surrounding the clip mounting hole H in the region spanning the upper plate portion 26, the vertical portion 23, and the flange portion 27 of the rocker inner panel 21.
A pair of front and rear projections 28 projecting inward in the vehicle width direction are provided on the vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21. The pair of projections 28 are provided at positions adjacent to the upper edge of the 3 rd vertical seal portion 62c in the region surrounded by the vertical seal portions 62a, 62b, and 62 c. More specifically, the projection 28 is provided at each of a connection portion (corner portion) between the 1 st vertical seal portion 62a and the 3 rd vertical seal portion 62c and a connection portion between the 2 nd vertical seal portion 62b and the 3 rd vertical seal portion 62 c. Each protrusion 28 is formed by, for example, press working.
With the above configuration, the horizontal seal portion 61 of the seal member 6 is attached to the upper plate portion 26 of the rocker inner panel 21 extending in the horizontal direction, the vertical seal portion 62 is attached to the vertical portion 23 of the rocker inner panel 21 extending in the vertical direction, and the auxiliary seal portion 63 is attached to the flange portion 27 of the rocker inner panel 21 extending in the vertical direction.
Fig. 2 is a schematic view showing an operation of assembling the side sill inner panel 21 and the center pillar lower gusset 13 together. As shown in fig. 2, when the side sill inner panel 21 is moved in the horizontal direction with respect to the center pillar lower gusset 13 to a position overlapping the center pillar lower gusset 13, even if the center pillar lower gusset 13 comes into contact with the seal member 6, the vertical seal portion 62 is attached to a surface (i.e., the vertical portion 23 of the side sill inner panel 21) substantially perpendicular to the direction of the force generated by the contact, so that the seal member 6 is not easily peeled off.
In addition, when the center pillar lower gusset 13 contacts the sealing member 6, the 3 rd vertical sealing portion 62c of the vertical sealing portion 62 is caught by the protrusion 28, so that the sealing member 6 is not moved, and the sealing member 6 can be more effectively prevented from being peeled off.
As described above, since the seal member 6 can be prevented from being peeled off, the seal member 6 can satisfactorily exhibit a waterproof function in a state where the center pillar lower gusset 13 and the side sill inner panel 21 are overlapped, and water entering the side sill 2 can be effectively prevented from flowing into the vehicle interior.
The present invention is not limited to the description of the above embodiments, and can be modified as appropriate. For example, in the above embodiment, the seal member 6 is configured to include the horizontal seal portion 61, the vertical seal portion 62, and the auxiliary seal portion 63. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the seal member 6 may be configured without the auxiliary seal portion 63. In this case, the 1 st horizontal seal portion 61a and the 2 nd horizontal seal portion 61b of the horizontal seal portion 61 may be connected to each other at the outer ends in the vehicle width direction by the horizontal seal portion, so that the seal member 6 has a shape surrounding the clip installation hole H.
In the present embodiment, the projection 28 is not essential, and a structure in which the projection 28 is not formed may be employed.
