在黑板体的左侧均匀安装一排纵向光灯，在黑板体的上端均匀安装一排横向光灯。
使用时，只打开纵向光灯，则在黑板体上显示图2所示的线状格式光线，再打开横向光灯，则在黑板上显示图3所示的田字方格格式光线。
