船用柴油机大型缸套工作的燃烧室，活塞环以上至活塞工作上端部缸壁最容易产生结碳，工作时间越长结碳就越多，活塞最容易卡死或将缸套拉裂，直接影响正常工作，为此，需要减少缸壁内的结碳现象来提高工作效率。
