半挂车车底的宽度一般是固定的，车门关闭时，车门外侧面与车底侧面重合，车厢的宽度为车底的宽度减去两边车门的宽度，这种结构设计的缺点是，车厢容积小，减少了半挂车的载货量。

为达到上述目的，本实用新型采用的技术方案是：
半挂车外跨门结构，包括车门和由边梁、边撑及底板组成的车底总成，车门与边梁通过铰接件铰接，车门关闭时车门内侧面与边梁外端面重合。
所述铰接件包括固定端和活动端，固定端与活动端通过轴连接；所述固定端端部与边梁连接，活动端内侧与车门外侧面连接。
所述底板为竹胶板。

如图1、图2所示，半挂车外跨门结构，包括车门1和由边梁4、边撑3及底板2组成的车底总成，车门1与边梁4通过铰接件5铰接，车门1关闭时车门1内侧面与边梁4外端面重合。所述铰接件5包括固定端51和活动端53，固定端51与活动端53通过轴52连接；所述固定端51的端部与边梁4焊接，活动端53的内侧与车门外侧面焊接，底板采用竹胶板，能够降低车底重量，提高半挂车载货量。
