Abstract

本实用新型公开了一种电连接器,其包括端子座及设置于该端子座上的若干端子,所述端子座的一外侧面上设有若干间隔板,该间隔板之间形成若干槽道,所述端子可沿垂直所述外侧面的方向装入所述槽道中,所述间隔板设有抵挡于端子外侧的挡板。采用本实用新型电连接器之端子与端子座组合装置,能够限制所述端子在垂直所述外侧面向外方向上的自由度,使得结合后的端子与端子座之间,不会因插拔频繁产生松动。

【技术领域】
本实用新型是关于一种具有端子模组的电连接器,尤其是涉及端子模组之端子与端子座的配合装置。
【技术背景】
现今电连接器的端子模组之端子与端子座的配合多数采用直接结合方式,该结合方式先将端子直接装入端子座的端子通道内,然后将端子的一端自端子座板缘处弯折,由此提供与一对接连接器对接的接触部。美国专利局公告的第6,764,343号专利揭示了一种端子模组,该端子模组包括一端子座以及配置于该端子座上的若干端子,所述端子座在其上表面设有若干间隔板,该若干间隔板之间设有收容所述端子的槽道。但是,结合后的端子与端子座之间,容易因插拔频繁而产生松动。
因此,确有必要对以上连接器进行改良以解决现有技术中存在的上述缺陷。
【实用新型内容】
本实用新型所要解决的问题是提供一种具有避免端子从端子座脱出之端子模组的电连接器。
为解决上述技术问题,本实用新型电连接器包括端子座及设置于该端子座上的若干端子,所述端子座的一外侧面上设有若干间隔板,该间隔板之间形成若干槽道,所述端子可沿垂直所述外侧面的方向装入所述槽道中,所述间隔板设有抵挡于端子外侧的挡板。
与现有技术相比,本实用新型电连接器具有以下优点:本实用新型电连接器之端子与端子座配合装置,能够限制端子在垂直端子座外侧面向外方向上的自由度,使得结合后的端子与端子座之间,不会因插拔频繁产生松动。
下面参照附图,结合具体实施方式对本实用新型做进一步说明。

【具体实施方式】
请参阅图1,本实用新型电连接器之端子模组1,其包括端子座2以及设置于该端子座2上的端子3。
请参阅图2,所述端子座2呈长形板状,其两较长边为该端子座2的前后两端缘,所述端子座2在该前后两端缘分别对称设有前间隔板21和后间隔板22,所述端子座2还设有位于该前、后间隔板21、22之间的掏空部20。其中,所述前、后间隔板21、22及掏空部20皆位于所述端子座2的上表面。
请参阅图3至图5,所述前、后间隔板21、22各自形成可收容所述端子3的槽道200,该前、后间隔板21、22分别设有挡板211、221,所述挡板211、221位于所述前、后间隔板21、22的顶部且与该前、后间隔板21、22呈“T”形。所述前间隔板21还设有面向所述掏空部20的后侧面212。
所述端子3设有与前述槽道200配合的前凸片31和后凸片32,以及略宽于该前、后凸片31、32的定位块33。其中,所述定位块33位于该前、后凸片31、32之间且靠近前凸片31。所述前、后凸片31、32分别干涉配合于所述挡板211、221与所述槽道200的底面之间,所述定位块33抵靠在所述后侧面212上。所述端子3还设有用以与一对接连接器相电连接的接触部34,该接触部34是所述端子3由所述端子座2的上表面弯折到下表面的部分。
整体组装时,所述端子3未弯折(未图示),先将所述前凸片31与定位块33垂直所述端子座2的上表面装入至所述掏空部20的底部,所述后凸片32位于所述端子座2的后端缘外,然后将所述端子3沿所述槽道200向所述端子座2的前端缘推动,所述前、后凸片31分别滑入前、后间隔板21、22的槽道200内,当所述定位块33抵靠在前间隔板21的后侧面212上时,所述前、后凸片31、32分别固持在所述挡板211、221与所述槽道200的底面之间。再将所述端子3由所述端子座2的前端缘处向下表面弯折,形成可与一对接连接器(未图示)相电连接的接触部34。

Claims (7)

1.一种电连接器,其包括端子座及设置于该端于座上的若干端于,所述端子座的一外侧面上设有若干间隔板,该间隔板之间形成若干槽道,所述端子可沿垂直所述外侧面的方向装入所述槽道中,其特征在于:所述间隔板设有抵挡于端子外侧的挡板。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子设有向槽道之两侧间隔板方向延伸的凸片,所述凸片固持在所述挡板与所述槽道的底面之间。
3.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子设有略宽于前述凸片的定位块,该定位块抵靠在所述端子座上设有的后侧面上。
4.如权利要求2所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子座设有可供前述凸片垂直所述外侧面装入的掏空部,所述凸片装入所述掏空部后,可沿所述槽道推至所述挡板与所述槽道的底面之间。
5.如权利要求4所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述掏空部将所述间隔板分成前、后间隔板,所述凸片固持于所述前间隔板之挡板与槽道的底面之间。
6.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子还设有另一凸片,前述凸片与所述另一凸片分别称为前、后凸片,该后凸片固持于所述后间隔板之挡板与槽道的底面之间。
7.如权利要求5所述的电连接器,其特征在于:所述端子设有略宽于所述槽道的定位块,该定位块垂直装入所述掏空部并抵靠在所述前间隔板的后侧面上。
