Abstract
本发明涉及一种内燃机,特别是机动车内燃机的排气系统组件(1),具有管形体(2)和设置在管形体(2)外部上的隔离体(3),其形成径向上位于管形体(2)和隔离体(3)之间并且圆周方向上环绕管形体(2)的环隙(4)。该隔离体(3)的至少一个轴端(6)连接到管形体(2)上,该轴端具有管形体(2)上的至少一个焊接缝(7)。通过隔离体(3)在其轴端(6)上具有折叠的边缘部分(8),从而在至少一个焊接缝(7)的区域内,可经济地获得组件(1)的增强强度。
Description
发明背景
本发明涉及一种内燃机,特别是机动车内燃机的排气系统组件。
背景技术
在此讨论的组件,在内燃机运转时有排出气体流过它们。最简单的情况下,这些组件是传送排出气的管道。然而,它们优选为更复杂的排气系统组件,例如微粒过滤器,催化转化器或消音器。任何情况下的所述组件都含有管形体,该管形体或者直接用于传送排出气体,或者在更复杂的组件情况下,用作容纳组件的其它部分的壳体。众所周知,内燃机运转过程中,排气系统的载气区域会变得极其热。为了降低例如接近排气系统的车体等组件的热负,公知的是对排气系统至少进行部分隔离。为了达到这一目的,前述的排气系统组件可装配有安装在管形体外部上的隔离体,在管形体和隔离体之间形成径向上设置的环隙,该环隙在圆周方向上包围着管形体。管形体和隔离体优选由金属片、尤其是钢铁片制成,并且例如通过至少一个焊缝彼此连接。
发明内容
本发明涉及的问题是提供一种上述所定义类型的组件的改进实施方案,以便该实施方案具有长的寿命且造价低廉的特征。
本发明通过独立权利要求所限定的内容解决了该问题。有利的实施方案是从属权利要求所限定的内容。
本发明以通过弯曲边缘部分来加强隔离体轴端的总体思想为基础,由此同时将折叠的边缘部分结合到至少一个焊缝中。由于这种设计,它会使隔离体在其连接到管形体的区域中产生增强的强度,所以组件的服务寿命也会延长。同时,隔离体的这一增强无需另外的独立部件,也无需另外的加工步骤即可实现。因此,完成本发明的组件的费用比较低廉。
所述边缘部分优选弯曲约180°,以这种方式进行优选,以便通过弯曲部分连接到隔离体的边缘部分与该隔离体的端部径向接触。折叠或折回的边缘部分的增强效果尤其以这种方式加以体现。
本发明的改进中,焊缝随尺度进行布置和设计,并优选通过圆周方向上密闭的边缘焊接形成,以便于焊缝将端部焊接到管形体且与边缘部分焊接,同时它将端部密封到管形体和边缘部分上。这会使隔离体的增强端部极其有效地一体化结合到至少一个焊缝上。隔离体和管形体间结合部的强度与组件的持久性因此得到提高。

很显然,上述的特征和那些下面还将要解释的特征不仅仅以在此给出的特定结合方式加以使用,也可以以其他结合方式进行使用,甚至单独使用,都不会超出本发明的范围。

发明详述
根据图1-3,本发明中,此处未表示出的内燃机的排气系统的组件1(此处也未示出),包括管形体2和隔离体3。
组件1例如可以是排气系统的排气传送管道。这种情况下,管形体2形成排气传送管线部分。
同样,组件1可以是相对复杂的排气系统组件。例如,组件1可以设计为催化转化器或为微粒过滤器或为消音器。管形体2然后形成壳体,其中可容纳各自的组件1的另外部件,例如微粒过滤器部件、催化转化器部件或者消音器部件。借助排气系统传送出废气的内燃机优选安装在机动车中。
隔离体3在圆周方向上、即管形体2的圆周的方向上包围管形体2。隔离体3设置在管形体2的外部上,以便在管形体2和隔离体3之间的径向上形成环隙4。在此环隙4中优选设置有例如隔离毡形式的隔离材料5。
隔离体3连接到管形体2上,该连接通过至少一个焊接缝7,至少在隔离体3的一个轴端6处完成。
下文的解释明显仅指代图1-3所示的隔离体3的轴端6。这里清楚地暗示了隔离体3在其另一端上(未示出)具有基本相同方式的设计,并且可连接到管形体2上。
隔离体3具有这里所示的轴端6上的折叠边缘部分8。这样会在轴端区域6内对隔离体3产生强烈的增强作用。另外,至少一个焊接缝7位于该边缘部分8的区域内。这意味着至少一个焊接缝7设置在隔离体3的借助折叠边缘区域8完成的增强或硬化区域中。
对组件1的经济化设计来说,边缘部分8作为隔离体3的整体部分是很重要的。
焊接缝7优选是在管形体2的圆周方向上具有密闭形式的焊流。
折叠边缘部分8通过弯曲部分9连接到隔离体3的端部10。这里的弯曲部分9形成折叠边缘部分8和非弯曲的端部10之间的过渡区。隔离体3的轴端6位于该弯曲部分9上,以便至少一个焊接缝7将弯曲部分9至少连接到管形体2上。
在图1所示的实施方案中,边缘部分8径向上向外折叠,即大约180°。另外,图1中的边缘部分8弯曲到其径向上与端部10相接触。通过至少一个焊接缝7的合适尺度化,会在隔离体3和管形体2间的焊接缝7的区域内产生一种三层金属片的增强作用。管形体2和隔离体3之间产生的焊接缝7和/或固定物具有非常高的硬度特征。
在图2的所示的实施方案中,边缘部分8再次径向上向外弯曲,即大约90°。该至少一个焊接缝7在此延伸进边缘部分8。这样再次在至少一个焊接缝7的区域内获得隔离体3的一定硬化作用。
在图3所示的实施方案中,边缘部分8在径向上向内弯曲,优选大约180°。该弯曲在此又以边缘部分8与端部10在径向上相接触的方式加以完成。因此,再次在至少一个焊接缝7的区域内形成一种三层金属片结构,该三层结构具有增强硬度的特征。
该至少一个焊接缝7和隔离体3端部6处的部分8、9、10优选以以下方式相配合:一种方式,该至少一个焊接缝7直接焊接端部10到管形体2上或通过弯曲部分9间接焊接。而另一方式,该焊缝直接焊接端部10到边缘部分8上或者通过弯曲部分9间接焊接。
Claims (9)
1.一种内燃机的排气系统组件,具有管形体(2)和设置在管形体(2)外部上的隔离体(3),其形成圆周方向上环绕管形体(2)并径向上位于管形体(2)和隔离体(3)之间的环隙(4),其特征在于,隔离体(3)在其具有至少一个焊接缝(7)的至少一个轴端(6)连接到管形体(2)上,其中,该隔离体(3)在该轴端(6)具有折叠边缘部分(8),边缘部分(8)沿管形体(2)的径向向外折叠90°。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组件,其特征在于,所述边缘部分(8)通过弯曲部分(9)连接到隔离体(3)的端部(10)。
3.根据权利要求2所述的组件,其特征在于,所述至少一个焊接缝(7)将弯曲部分(9)连接到管形体(2)上。
4.根据权利要求2或3所述的组件,其特征在于,所述边缘部分(8)径向上与端部(10)相接触。
5.根据权利要求4所述的组件,其特征在于,所述至少一个焊接缝(7)和隔离体(3)轴端(6)上的边缘部分(8)、弯曲部分(9)及端部(10)相互配置以便至少一个焊接缝(7)直接焊接端部(10)到管形体(2)上、通过弯曲部分(9)间接焊接及直接焊接该端部到边缘部分(8)上、通过弯曲部分(9)间接焊接。
6.根据权利要求5所述的组件,其特征在于,该焊接缝(7)是在圆周方向上具有密闭形式的焊流,和/或该至少一个焊接缝(7)设置在边缘部分(8)的区域内。
7.根据权利要求6所述的组件,其特征在于,所述组件(1)是排气载管,其中管形体(2)用于传送排出气体,或所述组件(1)是催化转化器或微粒过滤器或消音器,其中的管形体(2)用作壳体。
8.根据权利要求7所述的组件,其特征在于,环隙(4)中具有隔离材料(5)。
9.根据权利要求8所述的组件(1),其特征在于,隔离体(3)在其两轴端(6)上具有折叠边缘部分(8)。
