Abstract

后发泡或自发泡剃须凝胶如今被人们所熟知,并且已被描述于例如美国专利2,995,521(Bluard)、3,541,581(Monson)、4,405,489(Sisbarro)、4,528,111(Su)、4,651,503(Anderson)、5,248,495(Patterson)、5,308,643(Osipow)和5,326,556(Barnet)以及公布的PCT申请WO91/07943(Chaudhuri)中。上述组合物通常采用水包油乳液形式,其中自发泡剂(通常为挥发性(即低沸点)脂族烃)溶解在油相中,并且水相包含水溶性皂组分。该产品通常被包装在具有分隔物如活塞或可收缩袋的气溶胶容器中,以使自发泡凝胶与将产品推出所需的推进剂分开。该产品作为基本上不发泡的透明、半透明或不透明凝胶被分配,直至被铺展到皮肤上,此时由于挥发性烃发泡剂的挥发,使得该产品产生了泡沫。

短链多元醇可充分改善剃须组合物的发泡特性和/或稳定性。与不包含短链多元醇的类似组合物相比,包含短链多元醇的剃须组合物的泡沫趋于显示具有更加均匀、一致的泡沫结构(泡沫是通过剃须组合物中的推进剂的分散形成的)和更稠厚、更分明、更均匀的空隙区域。不受理论的约束,据信短链多元醇减小泡沫的表面张力,从而产生更稳定的泡沫,并且可与表面活性剂协同作用以减小泡沫的尺寸,从而得到加大的泡沫表面积。较小的泡沫尺寸和更一致的泡沫结构使得泡沫堆积得更紧密,这可使泡沫更加呈乳脂状和更稳定,并且可使泡沫更一致。较小的泡沫尺寸还可使泡沫更坚硬。
图1显示了不包含任何短链多元醇的剃须组合物的泡沫,而图1A显示除了还加入了甘油以外还具有与图1所示剃须组合物相同配方的剃须组合物的泡沫。图1B显示除了还加入了丙二醇以外,还具有与图1所示剃须组合物相同配方的剃须组合物的泡沫。图1至1B中所示的一般圆形区域是泡沫,而泡沫之间的空间是空隙区域。与包含短链多元醇的剃须组合物的泡沫(图1A和1B)相比,不包含任何短链多元醇的剃须组合物的泡沫(图1)具有较不均一的泡沫结构和较不分明的空隙区域。与不包含任何短链多元醇的剃须组合物的泡沫中的空隙区域相比,包含短链多元醇的剃须组合物的泡沫中的空隙区域更加稠密。短链多元醇可通过增加水的粘度来减少空隙间的水分流失;空隙间水分流失的减少可改善泡沫的稳定性和丰富性。包含短链多元醇的剃须组合物的泡沫所具有的轮廓分明且更加均一的泡沫结构可强化那些泡沫(例如,可使得泡沫具有如较高的泡沫密度、呈乳脂状、均一铺展性、良好覆盖、愉悦感),且通常使泡沫更加不易破裂。
N-酰基肌氨酸可选自任何当用适宜的碱中和时将提供水溶性肌氨酸盐的具有酰基部分的那些物质,其中所述酰基部分具有10至20个,优选12至18个碳原子。这些典型地包括硬脂酰肌氨酸、肉豆蔻酰肌氨酸、油酰肌氨酸、月桂酰肌氨酸、椰油基肌氨酸以及它们的混合物(如Hamposyl SM)。硬脂酰肌氨酸和肉豆蔻酰肌氨酸以及它们的混合物(如硬脂酰肌氨酸:肉豆蔻酰肌氨酸为3∶1的混合物)是优选的。在一些实施方案中,剃须组合物包含约4%至约16%,优选约6%至约12%的N-酰基肌氨酸。使用预中和的肌氨酸盐,如肉豆蔻酰肌氨酸三乙醇胺盐也是可能的,在这种情况下,除了调节最终组合物pH可能需要的酸或碱量之外,不需要单独向组合物中加入碱。优选选择肌氨酸组分和碱组分,以便在与组合物中的其它组分组合时提供透明或半透明凝胶。
碱可选自任何有机胺碱,其典型用于中和N-酰基肌氨酸,以形成水溶性盐。这些包括例如异丙醇胺、单乙醇胺、二乙醇胺和三乙醇胺、氨甲基丙醇和氨甲基丙二醇。优选三乙醇胺。碱的用量将取决于组合物中肌氨酸的含量。应使用足量的碱以溶解组合物水相中的肌氨酸并提供约4至约8,优选约5至约7的pH。为达到此pH范围,必须中和约50%至约90%,优选约60%至约80%的肌氨酸。因此,最优选肌氨酸的摩尔数比碱至少略微过量。碱在组合物中的含量典型为约1%至约6%。
自发泡剂可以是任何挥发性的烃或卤代烃,所述烃具有足够低的沸点以致在涂敷到皮肤上后,它将挥发并使凝胶发泡,但又足够高以防止所述烃造成凝胶过早发泡。上述试剂的典型沸点通常在约-20℃至约40℃的范围内。通常选择自发泡剂以在20℃下可产生约20.6kPa至约138kPa(约3至约20磅/平方英寸),优选约34至约103kPa(约5至约15磅/平方英寸)的蒸气压。优选的自发泡剂选自具有4至6个碳原子的饱和脂族烃,如正戊烷、异戊烷、新戊烷、正丁烷、异丁烷、以及它们的混合物。最优选的是重量比率为约1∶1至约3∶1的异戊烷和异丁烷的混合物(如约3∶1的异戊烷∶异丁烷)。自发泡剂在组合物中的含量通常将为约1%至约8%,优选约2%至约5%。
剃须组合物还可包含胶凝剂,并且例如组合物可包含最多约10%,并且优选最多约7%的非挥发性石蜡烃流体,其有助于胶凝所述组合物。术语“非挥发性”和“流体”是指这些物质在室温下为液体并且沸点高于200℃。上述烃流体包括矿物油、凡士林(例如,其可使凝胶更坚硬和/或可帮助溶解推进剂)和支链脂族液体。这些流体典型具有约16至约48个碳原子,优选具有约20至约40个碳原子,并且在40℃下具有的运动粘度(用ASTM D445方法测定)为约5×10-6m2/s(5厘沲(cSt))至约0.0001m2/s(100厘沲),优选约1×10-5m2/s(10厘沲)至约7×10-5m2/s(70厘沲)。优选的非挥发性石蜡烃流体包括40℃下具有的运动粘度为约1×10-5m2/s(10厘沲)至约7×10-5m2/s(70厘沲)的矿物油,分子量为约320至约420的氢化聚异丁烯、以及它们的混合物。
也希望在剃须组合物中包含水溶性胶凝助剂或增稠剂,以改善凝胶的稠度和稳定性并调节其粘度。这些可包括例如羟烷基纤维素聚合物如羟乙基纤维素和羟丙基纤维素(分别以商标“Natrosol”和“Klucel”出售),丙烯酸和聚烯丙基蔗糖的共聚物(以商标“Carbopol”出售),羧甲基纤维素,以及纤维素甲基醚(以商标“Methocel”出售)。还可使用天然或合成的树胶、树脂和淀粉。优选的增稠剂是羟乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、以及它们的混合物。胶凝助剂或增稠剂的含量典型为约0.01%至约5%(如约0.05%至约2%),优选为约0.01%至约2%。
水是组合物中的主要组分,并且使用足量的水以溶解表面活性剂组分并形成乳液的连续相,同时提供具有适宜粘度和所需发泡特性以及漂洗特性的稳定凝胶。向剃须组合物中加入足量(适量)的水,使所有组分的总重量百分比达到100%。组合物中水的量典型地在约65%至约85%,优选约70%至约80%的范围内。
除了上述组分之外,本发明剃须组合物还可包含多种其它熟知的化妆品成分,以改善组合物的美观性和性能特性。
通常希望在组合物中包含最多约10%,优选最多约9%,更优选约4%至约8%(如7.7%)的非离子表面活性剂,以改善泡沫质量、可湿性、凝胶稠度和可漂洗性。适宜的非离子表面活性剂典型具有的亲水-亲脂平衡(HLB)为9或更大,并且将与含水的肌氨酸盐组分相容。优选的非离子表面活性剂包括脂肪醇、脂肪酸和脂肪酰胺的聚氧乙烯醚,尤其是在脂肪部分中具有10至20个碳原子,优选12至18个碳原子,且具有约2至约60个,优选4至30个环氧乙烷单元的那些。这些包括例如油基聚氧乙烯醚-20、硬脂基聚氧乙烯醚-21、十六烷基聚氧乙烯醚-20、月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-4和月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-23。在一个优选的实施方案中,剃须组合物包含月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-4和月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-23的混合物。非离子表面活性剂的其它实例包括烷基取代酚的聚氧乙烯醚如壬苯醇醚-4和壬苯醇醚-20,脂肪链烷醇酰胺如月桂酰胺DEA和椰油酰胺MEA,脂肪酸的多乙氧基化脱水山梨糖醇酯如聚山梨酸酯-20、月桂基多葡糖苷、月桂酸蔗糖酯和聚甘油8-油酸酯。
剃须组合物还优选包含最多约8%,优选约2%至约6%的脂肪醇,如十四烷醇,月桂醇和硬脂醇,以及辛基十二烷醇。术语“脂肪的”是指该脂肪醇包含10至20个碳原子,优选12至18个碳原子。
尤其希望在组合物中包含阳离子调理聚合物,其直接作用于皮肤,以改善润滑性和剃须后的皮肤感觉。上述聚合物可包括羟乙基纤维素的聚合季铵盐,如聚季铵盐-10和聚季铵盐-24。这些聚合物在剃须组合物中的含量典型为约0.05%至约2%,优选约0.1%至约1%。

本发明优选的剃须组合物包含按重量百分比计约65%至约85%的水;最多约5.0%的短链多元醇;约4%至约16%的N-酰基肌氨酸(其中酰基具有10至20个,优选12至18个碳原子);足量的有机胺碱,以溶解N-酰基肌氨酸并提供约4至约8的pH值;约1%至8%的自发泡剂;最多约8%的非离子表面活性剂;以及约1%至约8%的脂肪醇。最优选地,所述组合物包含约70%至约80%的水,约6%至约12%的N-酰基肌氨酸,可提供pH为约5至约7的足量碱,约2%至约5%的自发泡剂,约1%至约10%的非离子表面活性剂,约2%至约6%的脂肪醇,以及约0.01%至约2%的增稠剂。例如,优选的剃须组合物包含至少约1%的甘油,约4%至约8%的N-酰基肌氨酸,和约4%至约10%的非离子表面活性剂(如约4%至约7%的月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-23和约1%至约3%的月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-4的共混物)。
本发明剃须组合物可被包装于任何适用于分配后发泡剃须凝胶的分配器中。这些包括具有分隔物如可收缩袋或活塞以将凝胶与推出所需的推进剂分开的气溶胶容器,可收缩管,以及泵抽或挤压容器。

依照以下步骤制备上述实施例组合物。
步骤
在室温和搅拌下,将甘油和/或丙二醇、羟乙基纤维素、聚季铵盐-10、和PEG-14-M或PEG-23M溶解在水中。
搅拌约40分钟后,将水溶液加热至约85℃,并加入肌氨酸(已被预熔融)、十四烷基醇、月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-23、PEG-10大豆甾醇和月桂基聚氧乙烯醚-4。将溶液和组分混合约10分钟。
加入三乙醇胺,并在85℃下持续搅拌约30分钟。
将混合物冷却至70℃,并加入矿物油和/或凡士林和三氯生。然后将混合物混合10分钟。
将混合物冷却至50℃,并加入防腐剂。将混合物搅拌10分钟。
将混合物冷却至30℃,并加入芳香剂、着色剂、芦荟凝胶、棕榈酸视黄酯、红没药醇、生育酚乙酸酯、叶油和羟丙基纤维素。使羟丙基纤维素先在55℃下与约0.5份水预混,接着在室温下再与3.5份水预混。
冷却至室温后,使混合物与异戊烷/异丁烯共混,以形成最终组合物。
除非另外指明,本申请中所用的所有百分比均按固体基本成分的重量计。此外,指定组分所规定的重量百分比优选也适用于该组分的混合物。例如,在其中剃须组合物包含短链多元醇混合物的实施方案中,组合物中短链多元醇的重量百分比之和优选在上文所规定的短链多元醇重量百分比范围内。
虽然已用与本发明具体有关的优选实施方案详细描述了本发明,但对于本领域技术人员显而易见的是可作出各种修改或替代,并应认为是属于以下权利要求所定义的本发明的精神和保护范围内。
Claims (19)
1.一种自发泡凝胶形式的剃须组合物,所述组合物包含按重量百分比计约65%至约85%的水;约0.25%至约5.0%的短链多元醇,所述短链多元醇具有3至6个碳原子和2至6个羟基;约4%至约16%的N-酰基肌氨酸,其中所述酰基具有10至20个碳原子;足量的有机胺碱,以溶解所述N-酰基肌氨酸并提供约4至约8的pH值;以及约1%至8%的自发泡剂,所述组合物基本上不含皂。
2.如权利要求1所述的剃须组合物,其中所述N-酰基肌氨酸选自硬脂酰肌氨酸、肉豆蔻酰肌氨酸、油酰肌氨酸、月桂酰肌氨酸、椰油基肌氨酸以及它们的混合物。
3.如权利要求2所述的剃须组合物,其中所述短链多元醇选自甘油、丙二醇、丁二醇、双甘油、以及它们的组合。
4.如权利要求3所述的剃须组合物,其中所述有机胺碱是三乙醇胺。
5.如权利要求4所述的剃须组合物,其中所述短链多元醇包括甘油。
6.如权利要求4所述的剃须组合物,其中所述短链多元醇包括丙二醇。
7.如权利要求4所述的剃须组合物,其中所述自发泡剂是具有4至6个碳原子的挥发性烃或这类烃的混合物。
8.如权利要求7所述的剃须组合物,所述组合物还包含最多约10%的非离子表面活性剂。
9.如权利要求8所述的剃须组合物,所述组合物还包含最多约8%的脂肪醇。
10.如前述任一项权利要求所述的剃须组合物,其中所述剃须组合物包含约0.5%至约2%的短链多元醇。
11.如前述任一项权利要求所述的剃须组合物,其中所述剃须组合物包含约70%至约80%的水,0.5%至约2%的短链多元醇,约6%至约12%的N-酰基肌氨酸,可提供pH为约5至约7的足量有机胺碱,约4%至约8%的非离子表面活性剂,以及约2%至约5%的自发泡剂,所述组合物基本上不含非N-酰基肌氨酸盐的阴离子表面活性剂。
12.如权利要求11所述的剃须组合物,所述组合物还包含约0.05%至约2%的阳离子调理聚合物。
13.如权利要求12所述的剃须组合物,所述组合物还包含约0.01%至约5%的增稠剂。
14.如权利要求12所述的剃须组合物,其中所述阳离子调理聚合物是羟乙基纤维素的聚合季铵盐。
15.如权利要求13所述的剃须组合物,其中所述增稠剂选自羟乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、以及它们的混合物。
16.如前述任一项权利要求所述的剃须组合物,其中所述N-酰基肌氨酸中的酰基具有12至18个碳原子。
17.如权利要求11所述的剃须组合物,其中所述N-酰基肌氨酸选自硬脂酰肌氨酸、肉豆蔻酰肌氨酸、油酰肌氨酸、月桂酰肌氨酸、椰油基肌氨酸以及它们的混合物,所述有机胺碱是三乙醇胺,所述短链多元醇选自甘油、丙二醇、丁二醇、双甘油、以及它们的组合,并且所述自发泡剂是具有4至6个碳原子的挥发性烃或这类烃的混合物。
18.如权利要求9所述的剃须组合物,其中所述自发泡剂是重量比率为约1∶1至约3∶1的异戊烷和异丁烷的混合物。
19.如权利要求17所述的剃须组合物,其中所述自发泡剂是重量比率为约1∶1至约3∶1的异戊烷和异丁烷的混合物。
