移动无线电设备或手机变得越来越小，并且因而可被容易地装入裤袋中。为了防止无意接通，移动无线电设备通常通过键盘上的盖子或通过硬框(Hardcase)来保护。这种保护影响该设备的设计。
移动无线电设备通常通过所谓的长时间按压开关键、即按压按键预定的持续时间来接通。没有附加的机械保护，已关闭的手机在装入裤袋时无意地被接通，并且甚至继续触发必须承担费用的呼叫或拨入因特网(Interneteinwahlen)。

2.用于防止移动无线电设备被无意取消锁定功能的方法，
其中，存储和分析对锁定按键的压力和实际上同时对一个或多个其他按键的压力，以及
只在单独按压该锁定按键时，才取消该按键锁定。
3.用于防止移动无线电设备被无意操作功能键的方法，
其中，存储和分析对功能键的压力和实际上同时对一个或多个其他按键的压力，以及
只在单独按压该功能键时，才激活所属的功能。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方法，
其中，保护作为选项是可选择的。
