Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及金属的连续铸造(连铸)。它尤其涉及使用双辊铸造方法或通大体在冷却式移动壁之间直接从液态金属来连续铸造小厚度的金属带。
背景技术
双辊铸造方法包括通过在沿相反方向旋转并在内部被冷却的双辊的圆柱形侧壁上使液态金属固化来铸造金属带,所述金属带由例如碳钢或不锈钢、Fe-Ni或Fe-Si合金或其它的铁合金或非铁合金构成。两层固化的“表皮”在这些壁上形成,并且它们在“结合颈”处大致被连接在一起,“结合颈”即所述各壁之间的间距最窄并且大致等于希望铸造的带厚(在1至10mm的量级,通常为3至5mm)之处的那一点。
在很多情况下,离开铸造辊的已固化金属带随后在与铸造辊成直线排列的一个或多个辊轧台中经历一道或多道热轧。仅在该热轧后(和可选择的其它冶金处理如再加热和/或受控冷却),金属带被卷成卷筒形状并被运送给用户或运送到其它的处理平台如冷轧生产线。
在线热轧使获得卷绕的薄带钢(更一般地,薄带铁合金)成为可能,其的厚度接近该制品的希望成品厚度而不必在离开铸造辊后(其中难以实现小于大约3mm厚度的金属带)必须直接获得如此小的厚度。这也使精炼和均质化该金属带的微结构成为可能。
有利的是热轧中的压缩比(rate of reduction)应当尽可能高。但是,实际上在此方面特别是由于在金属带离开铸造辊和进入轧机之间的时间内形成在金属带的表面上的碳堆积而存在限制,这是因为金属带表面在大气气氛下的氧化。
对此限制的一个补救方法是在铸造辊和轧机之间安装惰性化室(inertization chamber),在该室内保持氧含量低的中性或还原气氛(reduced atmosphere)。但是这种处理室的存在显著地使连续铸造设备的结构和操作变得复杂。并且即便采用所述的惰性化室,也难以获得超过大于50%左右的压缩比,除非装置的工程费用成比例地增长,但与传统的制造方法相比,这就会抵偿“薄金属带铸造”的经济效益。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提出用于连续铸造薄金属带的方法和设备,对于在线热轧,在有利的经济利益下,该方法和设备达到非常高的压缩比。
为此目的,本发明的主题是用于连续直接铸造(直连铸)金属带的方法,根据此方法,通过在带有冷却式移动壁的铸模内固化液态金属来铸造所述的金属带,并且随后对所述的金属带进行在线热轧,其特征在于,当金属带离开铸模时,将一制品施加到金属带表面上,该制品在所述表面留下一润滑层,其持续存在到金属带的热轧阶段,并释放出对保护所述表面免于氧化有所贡献的气体。
所述的润滑层可以是含碳材料。
接下来,产生持续存在的润滑层的所述制品可以是石墨。
产生持续存在的润滑层的所述制品可以是含有油脂的碳酸钙。
产生持续存在的润滑层的所述制品可以是乙炔。
可以以至少50%压缩比进行热轧。
所述液态金属可以是铁合金。
本发明的又一个主题是用于连续直接铸造薄金属带的设备,该类型的设备包括:带有冷却式移动壁的铸模,在所述铸模内,发生所述金属带的固化,以及用于所述已固化的金属带的在线热轧单元,其特征在于,所述设备包括在金属带离开铸模时将一制品施加到所述金属带表面上的装置,该制品在所述表面上留下一润滑层,该润滑层在金属带进入热轧单元时持续存在于所述表面上。
所述移动壁可以是沿相反方向旋转的两个辊的侧壁。
所述移动壁可以是两个移动的传送带。
该设备可包括用于所述金属带的惰性化室,其位于所述金属带离开铸模的出口与所述金属带进入热轧单元的入口之间。
具体实施方式
可以理解,本发明包括当金属带离开铸造辊时,将一制品施加到所述金属带的表面(制品最初为固态、液态或气态)上,该制品在所述表面上留下一润滑层,该润滑层持续存在,直至所述金属带进入热轧机。在热轧过程中润滑效应使在单道次中实现达到50%或更高的压缩比成为可能。
明显地,可以认为此后可以进行一个或多个轧制道次(可选择地由中间再加热或冷却所分开)。
在此状态下,可以考虑从离开铸造辊后而在此方面符合惯例地具有3至5mm厚度的铸造带获得具有1.5至1mm甚至更小的厚度的卷绕金属带。如此得到的热轧制品在某些方面甚至可以代替需要冷轧制备的同样厚度的制品。无论如何,在热轧过程中获得非常高的压缩比的可能性增加了从如此得到的高轧制带获得利益的新的冶金可能性。
如果在所述金属带被轧制时所述金属带的表面没有或几乎没有碳沉积,则可仅仅预期在金属带表面质量的令人满意状态下获得如此高压缩比。从此方面来说本发明也特别有利。意欲形成润滑的制品层起到抵抗大气氧化的保护层的作用。而且,在制品被施加到所述金属带时并随后的过程中制品的破裂导致形成气体,这些气体通过急剧地降低周围氧气浓度而起到使金属带表面惰性化的作用。如果使用惰性化室,这些气体会保留在所述惰性化室内并且它们本身参与表面惰性化,其使减小中性或还原气体的添加量成为可能。在最有利的情况下,甚至可取消惰性化室,加热后来自制品的气体和金属带表面的热作用下分解的气体的释放证明足以确保在所述金属带表面附近的所期望的低氧气浓度。
实际上,离开铸造辊的所述金属带花费几秒钟时间以到达在线热轧单元并所述金属带具有950℃至1050℃区间内的温度。因此施加的制品的特性必须是这样的,即它可高效的形式保持,例如当所述金属带进入热轧单元时所述制品以金属带表面上的含碳材料的形式保持,并且至少在所述金属带离开铸造辊后的时段中,由于所述制品的破裂而可产生保护气体。在这些过程中金属带是最热的,因此碳沉积的危险最高。如果不使用惰性化室,优选地是这种破裂持续到热轧单元。因此必须选择此制品类型和被施加到所述金属带的各表面的量。
在可在本发明的范围内被使用的制品中,可以应用石墨粉或油脂含量达50%的碳酸钙。由于其相对高的粘度,后一种类型的制品尤其可以适用于包覆所述金属带,尤其附着在所述金属带的竖直行程部分上,或当所述金属带进入热轧机时在其的钝化表面(passive surface)上。
通常,可以有效利用一种制品,其在破裂后,在准备被轧制的所述金属带的表面上留下含碳残留物。
一种获得该含碳残留物的方法可以包括,如向所述金属带表面吹送乙炔。根据反应:
它的燃烧产生石墨,其随后构成本发明意欲得到的润滑层。本反应还产生使气氛为还原气氛的氢气。
在将其应用于在双辊间铸造薄金属带的状态下描述了本发明。但是,也可考虑将它应用到其它类型的薄金属带铸造设备中,例如应用到在两个冷却式移动的传送带之间铸造5至10mm级别的、相对大厚度的薄金属带。
Claims (11)
1.用于连续直接铸造金属带的方法,其中,通过在带有冷却式移动壁的铸模中固化液态金属来铸造所述金属带,随后对所述金属带进行在线热轧,其特征在于,当所述金属带从铸模中排出时,一制品被施加于该金属带的表面,该制品在所述表面上留下一润滑层,该润滑层在热轧期间持续存在于所述表面上,并释放出有助于保护所述表面免于氧化的气体。
2.如权利要求1所述的方法,其特征在于,所述润滑层是含碳材料。
3.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,产生持续存在的润滑层的所述制品是石墨。
4.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,产生持续存在的润滑层的所述制品是含油脂碳酸钙。
5.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于,产生持续存在的润滑层的所述制品是乙炔。
6.如权利要求1至5中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,以至少50%的压缩比进行热轧。
7.如权利要求1至6中任一项所述的方法,其特征在于,所述液态金属是铁合金。
8.用于连续直接铸造薄金属带的设备,该设备包括:带有冷却式移动壁的铸模,在所述铸模内,使所述金属带固化,以及用于已固化金属带的在线热轧单元;其特征在于,所述设备包括在所述金属带离开铸模时将一制品施加到所述金属带表面的装置,所述制品在所述表面上留下一润滑层,该润滑层在金属带进入热轧单元时持续存在于所述表面上。
9.如权利要求8所述的设备,其特征在于,所述移动壁是沿相反方向旋转的两个辊的侧壁。
10.如权利要求8所述的设备,其特征在于,所述移动壁是两个移动的传送带。
11.如权利要求8至10中任一项所述的设备,其特征在于,还包括用于所述金属带的惰性化室,其位于所述金属带离开所述铸模时的出口与进入所述热轧单元时的入口之间。
