Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a un procedimiento de colada continua directa de una tira metalica segun el cual la tira es colada por solidificacion de metal liquido en una lingotera de paredes moviles enfriadas y se efectua un laminado en caliente en linea de la tira, caracterizado porque se envia sobre la superficie de la tira, a su salida de la lingotera un producto que deja permanecer una capa lubricante sobre la superficie al momento en donde la tira es laminada en caliente y causa un desprendimiento gaseoso que contribuye a proteger la superficie de oxidacion. La instalacion de colada continua directa de una tira delgada metalica, del tipo que comprende una lingotera de paredes moviles enfriadas en donde tiene lugar la solidificacion de la tira y una instalacion de laminado en caliente en linea de la tira solidificada, caracterizada porque comprende medios para aplicar sobre la superficie de la tira a su salida de la lingotera un producto que deja permanecer una capa lubricante sobre la superficie a la entrada de la instalacion de laminado en caliente.
