Abstract

"PROCESSO E INSTALAçãO DE FUNDIçãO CONTìNUA DIRETA DE UMA TIRA METáLICA". Processo de fundição contínua direta de uma tira metálica no qual uma tira metálica é fundida por solidificação de metal líquido em uma lingoteira com paredes móveis resfriadas, tira metálica essa que é submetida a uma laminação a quente, caracterizado pelo fato de se enviar sobre a superfície da tira, em sua saída da lingoteira, um produto que deixa permanecer uma camada lubrificante sobre a referida superfície no momento em que a tira é laminada a quente e que provoca uma liberação gasosa que contribui para proteger a referida superfície da oxidação. Instalação de fundição contínua direta de uma tira metálica, do tipo que comporta uma lingoteira com paredes móveis resfriadas em que ocorre a solidificação da referida tira e uma instalação de laminação a quente em linha da referida tira solidificada, caracterizada pelo fato de comportar meios para aplicar sobre a superfície da referida tira, em sua saída da lingoteira, um produto que deixa permanecer uma camada lubrificante sobre a referida superfície na entrada da instalação de laminação a quente.
