背景技术
平板计算机显示器和平面屏幕电视的研发提供了一种用具有相同的屏幕区域但是只是较小的深度和重量来替换较大的计算机显示器和较大的电视的机会。这允许计算机显示器在桌子上被放置而没有占据较大部分的桌子上表面空间。相似地,平面屏幕电视可以安置在原先不是很实际的位置中。
平板显示器和电视的较轻重量和较薄的轮廓允许它们被支撑到相对较小的基部上,悬挂在墙上,或者通过连接到诸如墙、柱、或者桌子或者箱的顶部、底部或者侧表面的安装表面的支撑系统所支撑。相对观察者调整平板显示器的取向的能力是所需的特征。需要一种安装系统,所述安装系统允许调整显示器的位置和取向。支撑系统必须简单,易于使用,并且必须稳定,这样显示器保留在所选择的位置和取向中。
发明内容

具体实施方式
图1A-1C显示了用于调整支架和安置诸如计算机显示器或者电视的平板显示器的铰接双臂支架20。图1A和1B显示了延伸位置中的支架20,同时图1C显示了折叠位置中的支架20。
支架20包括壁板22、侧关节24、狗骨形(dog bone)臂26、28,90度关节30、单关节32、星形安装板34和锥形轴承36、38、40和42。
壁板22通过螺钉或者螺栓安装到墙、柱、或者桌、箱的顶部、侧部、下表面等上。壁板22形成基部,支架的剩余部分从所述基部得到支撑。
侧关节24由通过壁板22的底部插入到侧关节24的螺钉固定到壁板22。
锥形轴承36枢转地将侧关节24连接到狗骨形臂28的内端。锥形轴承36是允许臂26相对侧关节24具有可选择量的拉力而枢转旋转的可调拉力(drag)锥形轴承。当需要时,锥形轴承36在轴向方向上紧固以将臂26相对侧关节24锁定在位。
臂26的外端通过锥形轴承38可枢转地连接到臂28的内端。通过轴承38所提供的拉力可调节,这样用选择量的拉力的平稳旋转运动可以被提供,或者臂26、28可以在轴承38上一起锁定,这样它们作为一个单元一起移动。

锥形轴120的方形颈部和张力盖114的底部表面中的方形孔防止张力盖114和锥形轮轴110的相对旋转,这可能导致调节螺钉118的无意松散。
本发明的安装系统可以使用相同的部件组来采取不同的形式。导致显示器具有更多或者更小的自由度的更多或者更少的枢转轮轴可以通过添加或者减少部件而实现。
其它变化也是可能的。例如,如图1A-1C所示的调节螺栓需要使用艾伦扳手(allen wrench)来紧固或者松开螺钉以由此调整张力。其它具有把手或者翼型头部的螺钉可以用于更容易调整张力而不需要诸如艾伦扳手的特别的工具。
根据本发明的另外的修改是使用通过车加工、注塑或者模铸而形成在元件中的锥形孔。这消除了需要衬套,但是增加了单个元件的制造成本。
图13A-13C显示了根据本发明的双臂支架的另外的实施例。如图13A-13C中所示,支架200在一端连接到柱P,并且在相对端上连接到平板显示器D。支架200包括壁板202、侧关节204、第一狗骨形臂206、第二狗骨形臂208、侧关节210、支撑件212、支架214以及锥形轴承216、218和220。在此实施例中,调整螺栓222、锥形轴承216具有翼形螺钉头部,如锥形轴承218的调整螺钉224。锥形轴承220的调整螺钉226具有翼头。

图18A、18B显示了双臂支架750,其使用5个锥形轴承。支架750包括壁板752、90度关节754、狗骨形臂756和758,90度关节760、单关节762以及支架板764。这些部件通过锥形轴承766、768、780、782和784枢转连接。
图19A和19B显示了单臂支架800。支架800的元件包括壁板802、90度关节804、狗骨形臂806、90度关节808、单关节810和支架板812。元件通过可调节锥形轴承814、816、818和820枢转地连接在一起。
图20A-20D显示了不使用臂的可调支架850。支架850包括壁板852、90度关节854、90度关节856、单关节858以及支架板860。部件通过三个可调拉力锥形轴承862、864和866所连接在一起。
总之,本发明的安装系统提供了一种诸如平板计算机显示器或者电视的显示器用的较宽范围的不同可调角度。为了获得所需的移动和角度调整可以根据本发明使用需要的部件。通过可调拉力锥形轴承所提供的可选拉力允许支撑件的连杆或者元件很容易运动,并提供在显示器的所需的位置被获得时在位锁定所述元件的能力。
尽管对本发明的一些实施例进行了说明,普通技术人员可以理解在不背离本发明的精神和原则的情况下可以对本发明进行修改和变化,其范围由所附权利要求书所限定。
Claims (4)
1.一种用于在多个位置中支撑显示器的安装系统,所述安装系统包括:
第一多个支撑元件;以及
第二多个可调拉力锥形轴承,用于枢转地连接相邻的支撑元件。
2.一种安装系统,包括:
壁板,用于安装到支撑表面;
用于安装到显示器的支架板;以及
壁支架和支架板之间的铰接联接机构,包括第一锥形轴承用于围绕第一枢转轴提供可调拉力枢转运动。
3.根据权利要求2所述的系统,在铰接联接机构中,还包括:
第二可调拉力锥形轴承,围绕从第一枢转轴位移的第二枢转轴提供可调拉力枢转运动。
4.根据权利要求2所述的系统,其中可调拉力锥形轴承包括:
通过铰接联接机构的第一元件所承载的锥形轴;
通过铰接联接机构的第二元件所承载的锥形孔;以及
用于在锥形轴和锥形孔之间提供可调轴向力的装置,用于控制其间的摩擦。
