Abstract

A telescopic bracing strut includes a top hinged bracket (a) which fits to the back of a flat panel TV by fixing into one of the mounting holes typically found on most flat panel models. It extends by way of a lockable telescopic arm (b) at a variable angle provided by a hinge between the arm and a clamp (c) to meet the rear or the top glass shelf of the TV stand. It secures to the glass by way of a clamp (d) lined with a material to increase friction/suction cups or adhesive pads. The clamp is tightened onto the glass over the adhesive/non-slip material/pads. The strut makes the TV more stable on its stand.

Description -
A securing bracket to provide increased stability to a flat panel TV located on a glass stand. The bracket will attach to the glass top of the stand by means of an adjustable non slip clamp and to the Television by fixing into one or more of the rear mounting holes. The Bracket extends to suit different sizes and styles of Television and may be used in pairs to provide maximum security.
