本发明是关于一种金属表面覆层贴合封边制品,其包括一金属工件,金属工件表面覆有一层热熔胶,热熔胶外侧贴合一覆层,覆层的边缘由一封闭层封闭,该制品其覆层不易脱落。本发明进一步包括制造该制品的方法。
Description
【技术领域】
本发明是关于一种金属表面覆层贴合封边制品及其制造方法。
【背景技术】
电子装置如笔记本电脑等的外壳多采用金属制成,然后于其上进行镀膜,然而由于金属表面很容易由于刮划而产生划痕,从而影响外壳的美观。
目前业界有采用在外壳表面设置保护层的做法,如中国台湾专利公告第447729号所揭示的一种具保护层的笔记本电脑构造,其配合该笔记本电脑的屏幕壳体及主机壳体的壳型大小各设有一皮革材质的保护体,保护体分别设有一防护面,且各防护面定位于屏幕壳体及主机壳体的外表面,使各保护体保护笔记本电脑,屏幕壳体及主机壳体贯穿设有若干定位部,保护体配合屏幕壳体与主机壳体的定位部设有对应固定部,由各保护体的固定部与屏幕壳体及主机壳体的定位部相互固定,进而使各保护体分别固定于屏幕壳体及主机壳体上;这种构造的保护体与壳体的结合是通过定位部与固定部来完成,所以其边缘的密封并不紧密,而且若定位部或固定部损坏则会造成保护体脱落。
【发明内容】
本发明所要解决的技术问题在于提供一种由在金属工件表面贴合上不易脱落的覆层而得到的制品,及制造该制品的方法。
本发明一种金属表面覆层贴合封边制品,其包括一金属工件,金属工件表面覆有一层热熔胶,热熔胶外侧贴合一覆层,覆层的边缘由一封闭层封闭。
制造该制品的方法包括以下部骤:首先将金属工件、热熔胶及覆层依次置于模具中,模具上模和下模合模并加热熔融热熔胶而将覆层粘贴于金属工件表面,而后取出工件,裁切掉覆层的多出部分,由注塑成型工艺将覆层的边缘部分密封。
本发明的优点在于通过模具合模在金属工件表面粘贴上覆层,且由注塑成型工艺将覆层边缘封闭,且该制品的覆层不易脱落。

【具体实施方式】
本发明金属表面覆层贴合封边制品的制造方法用来将覆层50贴于金属工件10外表面,并封闭覆层50边缘而得到最终的制品,其包括如下步骤:
步骤一、在覆层50下表面覆上一层热熔胶。
在本实施例中覆层50为皮革材质,金属工件10为镁合金,热熔胶为乙烯、乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、亚克力系、聚氨酯系、聚酰胺系或聚酯系热熔胶中的一种或其共聚合物。将覆层50置于粘合机上,将片状的热熔胶放置于覆层50上,然后由粘合机将热熔胶覆于覆层50表面。
金属工件10的材质也可为其它金属,如铝合金、锌合金等;覆层50也可为其它材质,如布匹或其它纤维制品等;热熔胶也可为其它种类的胶粘剂。
步骤二、提供用于在工件表面贴合覆层的模具。
请参阅图1及图2,该模具包括一下模30及一上模40,下模30上端设有一凸台32,下模30的四角分别设有一导柱34,上模40对应凸台32设有一模穴42,在模穴42上开设有若干气孔43,由外部供给的高压气体通过气孔43而进入模穴42中;上模40的四角对应导柱34各设有一引导孔44。
模具设有加热系统,通过加热系统对下模30的凸台32和上模40的模穴42加热,使模穴42的温度在60至200摄氏度之间,凸台32的温度在60至200摄氏度之间;且模穴42或凸台32的温度至少其一在热熔胶的熔融温度以上,但其温度不可过高以防止损坏覆层50。
步骤三、将金属工件10、覆有热熔胶的覆层50依次置于模具中。
金属工件10上贴合覆层50的表面为一弯曲折面,该弯曲折面包括一上表面11及四个侧面12。
请一并参阅图3,将金属工件10置于凸台32上,金属工件10的四个侧面12贴合于凸台32的四个侧面,而后将覆层50置于金属工件10上,或将覆层50固定于上模40,使覆层50上涂有热熔胶的一侧与上表面11相对。
步骤四、上模40和下模30合模而将覆层50粘贴于工件10表面。
请参阅图4,然后由下模30的四个导柱34及上模40的四个导孔44将上、下模40、30进行合模,覆层50、金属工件10及凸台32完全处于模穴42中,上、下模40、30之间形成一密闭腔;合模后,覆层50贴合于金属工件10的上表面11,由上模40的气孔43向模穴42中输入高压气体,高压气体使覆层50紧密贴合于金属工件10的上表面11,且覆层50超出上表面11的四侧边缘的部分由于吹入的高压气体而弯折,并紧密贴合于金属工件10的四个侧面12,同时由于模具的高温,将热熔胶熔融,从而将覆层50粘贴于金属工件10的上表面11及四侧面12。
步骤五、开模,将工件10由下模30上取下。
请参阅图5,金属工件10的表面已粘贴上覆层50。
步骤六、裁切掉覆层50的多出部分,将金属工件10置于注塑成形机模具中,由注塑成型工艺将覆层50的边缘部分密封。
参阅图6及图7,由注塑成型工艺将覆层50的边缘注塑成型一封闭层60而将覆层50的边缘部分封闭,从而得到最终的制品。该注塑成型的封闭层60其材质可为热塑性弹性体,如苯乙烯嵌段类、聚烯烃类、热塑性聚氨酯类、聚酰胺类、聚酯类、聚醚类、热塑性硅橡胶类等;或为热塑性塑料,如聚碳酸酯、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物、高抗冲聚苯乙烯、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚烯烃类、聚酯类、聚酰胺类、聚甲醛等其中一种或几种的复合材料;或为热固性塑料,如环氧树酯、聚氨酯、硅树酯等;或为橡胶类材质。
对于以上金属表面覆层贴合封边方法的步骤也可有小的改变,即将步骤一中在覆层50表面涂上一层热熔胶的步骤省去,在步骤三中在将金属工件10放置于凸台32上后,再将片状热熔胶置于金属工件10上表面11,而后将覆层50放置其上,再用模具将覆层50贴合于金属工件10表面。
Claims (12)
1.一种金属表面覆层贴合封边制品,其包括一金属工件,其特征在于:金属工件表面覆有一层热熔胶,热熔胶外侧贴合一覆层,覆层的边缘由一封闭层封闭。
2.如权利要求1所述的金属表面覆层贴合封边制品,其特征在于:金属工件贴合覆层的表面为弯曲折面。
3.如权利要求2所述的金属表面覆层贴合封边制品,其特征在于:该弯曲折面包括一上表面及至少一侧面。
4.如权利要求1所述的金属表面覆层贴合封边制品,其特征在于:覆层为皮革材质,金属工件材质为镁合金、铝合金或锌合金,热熔胶为乙烯、乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、亚克力系、聚氨酯系、聚酰胺系或聚酯系热熔胶中的一种或其共聚合物。
5.如权利要求1所述的金属表面覆层贴合封边制品,其特征在于:封闭层材质可为热塑性弹性体,如苯乙烯嵌段类、聚烯烃类、热塑性聚氨酯类、聚酰胺类、聚酯类、聚醚类、热塑性硅橡胶类等;或为热塑性塑料,如聚碳酸酯、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物、高抗冲聚苯乙烯、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚烯烃类、聚酯类、聚酰胺类、聚甲醛等其中一种或几种的复合材料;或为热固性塑料,如环氧树酯、聚氨酯、硅树酯等;或为橡胶类材质。
6.一种制造如权利要求1所述的金属表面覆层贴合封边制品的制造方法,其包括以下步骤:
提供一金属工件;
提供一覆层;
提供一热熔胶;
提供一模具,模具包括一下模及一上模,上模设有通入高压气体的气孔;
将金属工件、热熔胶及覆层依次置于模具中;
模具的上模和下模合模形成一密闭腔,由上模的气孔向密闭腔内通入高压气体,并加热熔融热熔胶而将覆层粘贴于金属工件表面;
开模,取出已粘贴覆层的金属工件;及
裁切掉覆层的多出部分,由注塑成型工艺注塑封闭层而将覆层的边缘部分密封。
7.如权利要求6所述的制造方法,其特征在于:金属工件贴合覆层的表面为弯曲折面。
8.如权利要求6所述的制造方法,其特征在于:模具上模或下模至少其一的加热温度在热熔胶的熔融温度以上。
9.如权利要求6所述的制造方法,其特征在于:覆层为皮革材质,金属工件材质为镁合金、铝合金或锌合金,热熔胶为乙烯、乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、亚克力系、聚氨酯系、聚酰胺系或聚酯系热熔胶中的一种或其共聚合物。
10.如权利要求9所述的制造方法,其特征在于:上模的温度在60至200摄氏度之间,下模的温度在60至200摄氏度之间。
11.如权利要求6所述的制造方法,其特征在于:下模设有一凸台,上模对应凸台设有一模穴,气孔设于模穴中。
12.如权利要求6所述的制造方法,其特征在于:封闭层材质可为热塑性弹性体,如苯乙烯嵌段类、聚烯烃类、热塑性聚氨酯类、聚酰胺类、聚酯类、聚醚类、热塑性硅橡胶类等;或为热塑性塑料,如聚碳酸酯、丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物、高抗冲聚苯乙烯、聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯、聚烯烃类、聚酯类、聚酰胺类、聚甲醛等其中一种或几种的复合材料;或为热固性塑料,如环氧树酯、聚氨酯、硅树酯等;或为橡胶类材质。
