发明背景
化妆品眼部护理组合物是涂抹睫毛和眼睑,通过提供诸如加粗、加长、着色和分辨每根睫毛等期望的外观而使眼睛美观的着色组合物。涂抹到睫毛上的组合物通常称为染睫毛膏,而涂抹到眉毛上的组合物通常称为眼线器。
染睫毛膏和眼线器组合物通常由一种或多种成膜剂、颜料和载色剂(其大部分在将产品涂抹到眼部时会蒸发掉,使膜固化)。
染睫毛膏以包括饼或块、膏、凝胶和低粘度液体的多种形式公知。
饼状染睫毛膏最初是这种化妆品最常见的形式。它们包括至少50%的皂,颜料混入皂饼中。可用湿刷子使染睫毛膏起泡沫,然后涂抹在睫毛上,获得满意、光滑的涂覆。其只要缺点是睫毛上的膜有很强的水溶性,容易弄脏和去除,使产品转移到眼睛周围的皮肤上。通过掺入蜡可改善其防水性,使原有皂基形式的饼状染睫毛膏得到改进。然而这样往往会牺牲涂抹的光滑性。

目前市场上主要有三种类型的染睫毛膏配方:
1)无水有机溶剂基悬浮液:它们防水但不防沾污。它们不会被肥皂和水洗掉,而且很难去除。它们还容易沾污。这些配方类型有很高的油脂含量。眼睛周围也很油腻,因此从这方面看这种配方类型不合适。

3)水包油乳液:是“水基”的而不是防水的,但它们耐水。如果膜足够柔韧,该染睫毛膏也是“防剥落”和“防沾污”的。耐水性可通过加入乳液聚合物、丙烯酸、聚乙酸乙烯酯、聚氨酯等实现。
该乳液型染睫毛膏配方基本上不含有机溶剂。
目前市场上发现的眼线器组合物有三种:
1)眉笔:最流行,因为很容易涂抹;
2)含水氢化醇(hydro-alcoholic)悬浮液:它们用纤维素衍生物或天然树胶胶凝。它们不完全稳定。因此它们在使用前需要摇晃;和
3)水包油(O/W)乳液:它们与O/W染睫毛膏类似,但该配方更稀、液体更多。
WO-A-97/26860描述了常规polyquaternium-7在洗发香波配方中的用途。polyquaternium-7是高分子量阳离子共聚物,更具体说是二烯丙基二甲基氯化铵与丙烯酰胺的共聚物,例如50/50wt/wt%的共聚物,并具有大于约500,000,例如1,000,000或更高的典型分子量。这种聚合物一般以稀水溶液,例如约7-10%(重量)的溶液制备和销售。
US 5925337描述了常规polyquaternium-7在基于溶剂的无乳化剂防水染睫毛膏中的用途。
一方面本发明涉及包含低分子量阳离子共聚物和高分子量醇的染睫毛膏和眼线器组合物。在一个实施方案中,低分子量阳离子共聚物是polyquaternium-7,而高分子量醇是羊毛脂醇。

本发明组合物可用肥皂和水除去,并提供了优异的光泽和耐久性能。本发明组合物为染睫毛膏配方、眼线器配方和类似乳脂眼睑膏的其他眼部化妆产品提供了优异的性能。更具体地,染睫毛膏具有比目前市场上领先品牌的染睫毛膏更好的光泽、卷曲度,以及睫毛分离和体积沉积(volume deposit)。
本发明详细描述
WO 02/40622中公开了分子量为30,000-300,000、活性聚合物浓度为20-50%(重量)的水溶液形式的阳离子共聚物,其中该溶液在25℃下的粘度低于10,000cP(mPa.s),此处全文参考引用该说明书。
令人吃惊地发现,包含分子量为30,000-300,000的阳离子共聚物和高分子量醇的组合物能赋予诸如眼线器和染睫毛膏的化妆品眼部护理组合物杰出的光泽和防擦除耐久性。
特别是本发明涉及将所述分子量为30,000-300,000的所述含水阳离子共聚物溶液与高分子量醇,例如诸如羊毛脂醇的至少一种C20-C40醇结合,制备化妆品眼部护理配方,例如染睫毛膏或眼线器的用途。
高分子量C20-C40醇可以是直链的、支链的或单环或多环的,也可以是天然的或人造源的。优选的是含有两种或多种这些醇的混合物。在一个实施方案中,采用诸如羊毛脂醇的自然形成的醇的混合物。
羊毛脂醇是配合物混合物,它包含三种主要的化学基团:脂族醇、甾醇(例如胆甾醇)和三甲基甾醇(例如羊毛甾醇和脱氢羊毛甾醇)。羊毛脂醇一般含有约26%的脂族醇、38%的胆甾醇和27%的三甲基甾醇,其余是烃和未确定的产物。羊毛脂醇可广泛地商购。
上述含水阳离子共聚物溶液的粘度用Brookfield RVT粘度计,用锭子3以10rpm测量。共聚物的分子量通过常规的凝胶渗透色谱(GPC)技术测定。
该含水共聚物溶液优选具有30-45%(干重量)的浓度。
所述含水共聚物溶液优选具有25℃下用Brookfield RVT粘度计测量为1000-10,000cP的粘度。
该水溶液优选含有作为25-90%(重量)非离子单体单元和10-75%(重量)阳离子单体单元,例如50-80%(重量)非离子单体单元和20-50%(重量)阳离子单体单元,特别是70-80%(重量)非离子单体单元和20-30%(重量)阳离子单体单元的反应产物的共聚物。
该非离子单体可以是任何非离子单体,优选的单体选自:
-不饱和N-取代的酰胺,例如N-乙烯基甲酰胺、N-乙烯基己内酰胺和N-乙烯基吡咯烷酮,
-带有一羟基或多羟基官能团的(甲基)丙烯酸酯,例如丙烯酸羟乙酯(HEA)、甲基丙烯酸羟乙酯(HEMA)、丙烯酸羟丙酯(HPA)、甲基丙烯酸羟丙酯(HPMA)、甘油一丙烯酸酯和三羟甲基丙烷一丙烯酸酯。
-丙烯酰胺及其衍生物,例如N-羟甲基丙烯酰胺、N-三(羟甲基)甲基丙烯酰胺,其他N-烷基或N-烷氧基取代的丙烯酰胺,例如N,N-二甲基丙烯酰胺和丙烯酰胺衍生物。
优选的非离子单体是丙烯酰胺或其衍生物。
该阳离子单体可以是任何阳离子单体,优选的阳离子单体选自二烷基氨烷基(甲基)丙烯酰胺和优选的作为酸加成物的丙烯酸酯,或优选的季铵盐和二烯丙基二烷基卤化铵。
优选的丙烯酸酯和甲基丙烯酸酯是二C1-C4烷基氨乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯。优选的丙烯酰胺和(甲基)丙烯酰胺是二C1-C4烷基氨烷基(甲基)丙烯酰胺,特别是二甲基氨乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯(DMAE(M)A)和二甲基氨丙基(甲基)丙烯酰胺(DMAP(M)A),特别优选的分别是作为酸加成物的甲基丙烯酸酯和甲基丙烯酰胺化合物,优选季铵盐。
特别优选的阳离子单体是二烯丙基二甲基氯化铵(DADMAC)。
特别优选的共聚物包含70-80%(重量)丙烯酰胺非离子单体单元与20-30%(重量)二烯丙基二甲基氯化铵阳离子单体单元的反应产物。
该含水共聚物具有约30,000-300,000,优选约40,000-250,000的分子量。特别优选的分子量是100,000-200,000,例如约150,000。
该含水共聚物溶液可具有任何pH值,然而优选的pH范围是pH3-pH7.5。最优选的pH值是pH4.5-pH6.5。
该共聚物基于100%活性聚合物的阳离子含量可为0.6-4.5mol/kg。
该含水共聚物溶液可含有由非离子单体与阳离子单体的共聚反应导致的某些未反应的单体,例如少于20ppm。
该含水共聚物溶液还可含有诸如化妆品中常用的防腐剂、药品和食品。这种防腐剂包括苯氧基乙醇、苯甲酸、对羟基苯甲酸的酯、DMDM乙内酰脲、咪唑烷基脲、二偶氮烷基(diazodinyl)脲、甲基氯异噻唑啉酮、甲基异噻唑啉酮。优选的防腐剂包括苯氧基乙醇和对羟基苯甲酸丙基酯及其盐和对羟基苯甲酸甲基酯及其盐。
分子量为30,000-300,000、浓度为20-50%(重量)和25℃下的粘度小于10,000cP的阳离子共聚物的含水溶液可通过公知的聚合方法,例如通过WO 02/40622中教导的连续加成聚合技术制备。
在一个实施方案中,分子量为30,000-300,000的阳离子共聚物与高分子量醇的混合物以乳液存在。
乳液可认为是非均匀体系,由至少一种不混溶的液体以液滴形式分散在另一种液体中组成。它是由至少两种公知为内相和外相的不同的相组成的组合物。“内相”的材料以小液滴或固体颗粒形式分散在乳液组合物的另一种不同的相中。术语“外相”指其中分散了内相的连续相。此处所用术语“乳液”包括分散体,其中内相包含正常使用温度下的固体颗粒。
根据本发明的化妆品眼部护理组合物除含有基本上是水的挥发性液体载色剂(vehicle)外,通常还含有本领域公知的用于诸如眼线器和染睫毛膏的化妆品中的其他成分。所述成分包括至少在常温下为不挥发性的各种材料。许多材料在其正常状态和常温下为固体或半固体。所述材料包括,但不仅限于,除上述材料以外的水溶性成膜聚合物、蜡、脂肪、油脂、颜料、染料、树胶、树脂、无机和有机材料、填料、增稠剂、胶凝剂及其混合物,它们常常被掺入眼部化妆组合物中。
包括本发明的低分子量阳离子共聚物和高分子量醇的不挥发性成分占本发明组合物的约30%-约60%,例如约35%-约55%,特别是约40%-约50%。基本上是水的挥发性液体载色剂占本发明组合物的约30%-约65%,例如约40%-约55%。
水溶性成膜聚合物包含选自纤维素衍生物和通过各种聚合技术制成的合成聚合物的聚合物。优选的纤维素衍生物选自羟乙基纤维素、羟丙基纤维素、羟丙基甲基纤维素及其混合物。用于本发明的具体水溶性成膜聚合物包括但不必限于来自Aqualon Hercules的Natrosol250HHR(羟乙基纤维素)。水溶性合成聚合物包括诸如聚乙烯吡咯烷酮(PVP),例如来自ISP的PVP K-30,季铵化聚乙烯吡咯烷酮和高分子量阳离子共聚物,例如二烯丙基二甲基氯化铵与丙烯酰胺的典型分子量超过约500,000,例如1,000,000或更高的常规共聚物(polyquaternium-7)的聚合物。后者的实例包括Ciba SpecialtyChemicals的SalcareSC10和SalcareSC11。
水溶性成膜聚合物包含约2%-约25%(重量),例如约3%-约15%(重量),特别是约4%-约10%(重量)本发明的组合物,条件是约10%-约100%的成膜聚合物包含本发明的低分子量阳离子共聚物。
高分子量醇包含约0.1%-约10%(重量),例如约0.2%-约5%(重量),特别是约0.3%-约3%(重量)本发明的组合物。
本发明的化妆品眼部护理组合物包括水包油乳液组合物。这些组合物需要亲油材料形成组合物的内相。这些亲油材料通常是化妆品制备中公知常用的蜡和脂肪。
常用的脂肪可衍生自动物、植物和合成原料,以及它们的混合物。脂肪在任何地方都具有55℃-约100℃的熔点,以及根据美国标准ASTM D5测量的25℃下为约3-约40的针头刺入度。优选用于本发明的脂肪是室温下为固体并呈晶体结构的脂肪酸酯。可用于本发明的脂肪酸酯的实例包括诸如硬脂酸、棕榈酸的高级脂肪酸的甘油酯,一硬脂酸甘油酯、二硬脂酸甘油酯、三山萮酸甘油酯及其混合物。当它们存在时,其典型用量是本发明组合物的约0.1%-约10%(重量),例如约0.2%-约5%,特别是约0.3%-约3%(重量)。
蜡定义为较低熔点的有机混合物或高分子量化合物,它们在室温下为固体,且其组分通常类似于脂肪和油脂,但它们不含甘油。某些是烃,其他是脂肪酸的酯和醇。可用于本发明的蜡可选自动物蜡、植物蜡、矿物蜡、合成蜡、石油蜡、烯类聚合物,诸如Fischer-Tropsch蜡、硅氧烷蜡的烃类,及其混合物,其中蜡具有55℃-100℃的熔点,以及根据美国标准ASTM D5测量的25℃下为3-40的针头刺入度。
可用于本发明的具体的蜡选自蜂蜡、羊毛脂蜡、紫胶蜡(动物蜡);巴西棕榈蜡、小烛树蜡、月桂子蜡(植物蜡);地蜡、纯地蜡(矿物蜡);石蜡、微晶蜡(石油蜡);聚乙烯(烯属聚合物);聚乙烯均聚物(Fischer-Tropsch蜡);C24-C45烷基甲聚硅氧烷(硅氧烷蜡);及其混合物。优选的蜡包括蜂蜡、巴西棕榈蜡及其混合物。
本发明的组合物中蜡的用量通常为约5%-约30%(重量),例如约6%-约20%(重量),特别是约8%-约15%(重量)。
本发明的化妆品眼部护理组合物的固体成分通常含有选自无机颜料、有机色淀颜料、珠光颜料及其混合物的化妆品可接受的颜料。当采用颜料时,其含量比例取决于所制备产品的颜色和颜色深度。
本发明的组合物中颜料的含量为约3%-约20%,例如约5%-约15%,特别是约6%-约12%(重量)。所述颜料可任选地通过本领域公知的方法进行表面处理,例如用硅氧烷、全氟化化合物、卵磷脂和氨基酸处理。
可用于本发明的无机颜料包括选自在“比色指数”(Color Index)中编号为标记CI 77891的金红石或锐钛矿二氧化钛;编号为标记CI77499、77492和77491的氧化铁黑、黄、红和棕;锰紫(CI 77742);群青色(CI 77007);氧化铬(CI 77288);铬水合物(CI 77289);和铁蓝(CI 77510)及其混合物的无机颜料。特别优选的是氧化铁黑。
可用于本发明的珠光颜料包括选自诸如涂有氧化钛、氧氯化铋的云母的白色珠光颜料;诸如涂有氧化铁的钛云母、涂有铁蓝的钛云母、氧化铬等、涂有上述类型的有机颜料以及基于氧氯化铋的颜料的那些的彩色珠光颜料,以及它们的混合物。
本发明中还可采用乳化剂,以帮助制备均匀组合物并改善其稳定性。所述乳化剂包括但不必限于皂、磷酸酯、乙氧基化醇、乙氧基化脂肪酸、乙氧基化脂肪族酯、多羟基化合物醚酯、甘油酯、蔗糖或脱水山梨醇酯、葡萄糖酯、磷酸钾或DEA-鲸蜡基磷酸盐、脂肪族酯及其混合物。优选的是例如三乙醇胺硬脂酸酯的脂肪酸的链烷醇胺盐。
本发明组合物中乳化剂的用量通常为约1%-约10%(重量),例如约2%-约8%(重量)。
本发明的化妆品眼部护理组合物的任选的成分是一种或多种防腐剂,以防止潜在的有害微生物的生长。特别可用于本发明的防腐剂包括咪唑烷基脲、二偶氮烷基脲、quaternium-15、对羟基苯甲酸甲酯、对羟基苯甲酸乙酯、对羟基苯甲酸丙酯、对羟基苯甲酸丁酯、EDTA、季铵化合物、苯氧基乙醇及其混合物。这些防腐剂在《CTFA化妆品成分词典》(第三版)中有详细定义,此处参考引用。在这些防腐剂中,苯氧基乙醇、对羟基苯甲酸甲酯、对羟基苯甲酸丙酯及其混合物特别优选用于本发明的组合物。本发明组合物中所用防腐剂的优选浓度为基于组合物总重量的约0.01%-约2%(重量),例如约0.1%-约1.2%(重量)。
本发明的组合物中又一种任选含有的成分是螯合剂。螯合剂的优选含量为基于组合物总重量的约0.01%-约0.1%(重量)。用于该组合物的优选螯合剂包括乙二胺四乙酸EDTA二钠和乙二胺四乙酸EDTA三钠。这些试剂都可在上述《CTFA化妆品成分词典》(第三版)中找到。其中特别优选用于该组合物的是乙二胺四乙酸EDTA三钠。
本发明的化妆品眼部护理组合物可通过化妆品工业中公知的常规混合技术制备。以下实施例说明某些这些技术。

步骤:
称量A相的水加入混合容器中。当用均质器搅拌时,将羟乙基纤维素和PVP喷洒到水中。将混合物加热到80-85℃,并保持均质化1小时。然后将A相剩余成分加入含水混合物中。加入颜料后将母料再均质化1小时。
将B相的成分加入另一个容器中并加热到85℃;然后用螺旋桨充分搅拌,直至获得清澈的黄色溶液。然后将B相缓慢加入A相中,同时保持均质化和上述温度。
然后将所得水包油乳液冷却。在65℃下用桨式搅拌器将搅拌切换到侧面吹扫搅拌并继续中速搅拌。此时加入C相。在55-60℃时加入D相,当混合物变粘稠时减慢搅拌。继续混合乳液至室温。
结果:
在人造睫毛和人体睫毛上评价这3种染睫毛膏配方,并与目前市场主导产品比较。结果如下所示:

步骤:

Claims (21)
1.含有分子量为30,000-300,000的阳离子共聚物和高分子量醇的组合物。
2.权利要求1的组合物,其中高分子量醇是至少一种C20-C40醇。

18.权利要求16的组合物,其中合成聚合物选自聚乙烯吡咯烷酮、季铵化聚乙烯吡咯烷酮和高分子量阳离子共聚物。
19.权利要求16的组合物,其中合成聚合物是二烯丙基二甲基氯化铵与丙烯酰胺的共聚物。
20.权利要求14的化妆品眼部护理组合物,它是包含以下成分的水包油乳液,以重量计:
约2%-约25%的水溶性成膜聚合物,条件是约10%-100重量%该成膜聚合物是分子量为30,000-300,000的阳离子共聚物;
约0.1%-约10%至少一种C20-C40醇;
约5%-约30%蜡;
约0.1%-约10%脂肪,和
约3%-约20%至少一种颜料。
21.改善化妆品眼部护理组合物性能的方法,包括掺入权利要求1的组合物。
