应答器标签
本发明涉及如独立权利要求1和4的前序部分所述的应答器标签。
应答器标签用于标识物品。
应答器是无源地即没有能源供应地构成的电子芯片,它们由一个应答读数器来电磁激励并以电磁方式发出所存储的信息。应答器芯片具有扁平的小尺寸结构,这允许它们被安装在标签内。
在许多情况下,应答器标签是这样设计的,即它们在粘贴之前或之后都是可打印的。
在例如利用热传输打印机的打印过程中,芯片的任何突出部都是有碍的。即使芯片只是很微小地凸出,打印头在芯片位置上都会被略微抬离标签,因而可能在芯片区域内在应答器标签上出现未印上的表面。因此,应答器标签应该具有尽可能平的表面,即使是很微小的突出部都不应该有。
DE20018648U1公开了一种具有可打印的表面膜和芯片嵌点的应答器标签,芯片嵌点在隆起部位上具有电子应答器芯片并配有一个可从底侧从胶层上撕下的载片。该应答器标签的特征是,芯片嵌点在其具有隆起部的一侧与中间层相连,该中间层在隆起部位上有一个凹穴,其深度至少近似等于隆起部位的高度。通过被安置在隆起部位上的应答器芯片并通过与隆起部位相匹配的且布置在表面膜和载片之间的中间层,便可获得一个非常平的可打印的应答器标签表面。
上述应答器标签的缺点是结构复杂。因此,不仅是应答器芯片必须安置在芯片嵌点的专门为此而定的隆起部位中,而且必须使中间层适应于隆起部位。此外,隆起部位和中间层具有这样的厚度,即该厚度对应答器标签的很平坦的并且因而在应答器标签粘贴状态下不易出故障的结构是不利的。
本发明的任务是这样改进该应答器标签,即它具有简单的、尽可能平的薄层结构,其中,特别是在芯片区域内不形成突起部位。
在上述类型的应答器标签中,通过独立权利要求1和4所述特征来完成该任务。
非常有利的是,本发明的应答器标签只有两层,即包括装在其上的芯片的一层应答器膜以及在本发明的第一实施形式中的一个胶层或者在本发明的第二实施形式中的一个覆层,该覆层总是在芯片区域内有一个凹穴,其厚度至少等于芯片厚度。这样就可免除任何附加的中间层,因为中间层有时在一定程度上就构成胶层本身,在本发明的另一实施形式里,可打印的覆层形成中间层。
中间层结构允许非常平坦地构成结构简单的应答器标签,这种标签由于在胶层中或在其上表面的覆层中有与芯片匹配的凹穴而没有任何隆起部位,因此是可以进行最佳打印。
本发明的有利的实施形式是从属权利要求的主题。
单纯从原则上讲,凹穴可以具有任意的结构,特别是它可以简单地通过冲压出一个大致呈圆形的孔来形成。有利的实施形式规定,凹穴轮廓是匹配于芯片形状,所以在芯片周围不存在任何空隙。
如果就象在本发明的上述第一实施形式里那样将芯片大致埋置在胶层中并用胶层将它固定在载体上,则可以设定,应答器膜在其背向芯片的那侧有一个可打印的覆层。
无论在本发明的第一实施形式中,还是在第二实施形式里,覆层都可以作为一个可打印的覆膜来设计,覆膜特别对应答器标签的平坦结构是很有利的,此外,它也容易处理。
在一个特别对与CD-ROM联合使用而很有利的实施例里,为了达到重量平衡的目的,大致通过冲压在应答器膜和/或覆层和/或胶层中开设凹穴或孔。
另一有利的实施形式规定了用不透明材料制成应答器膜。
此外,应答器膜本身就能有利地被构造成覆膜,而且在必要时,可在其背向芯片的那侧进行打印。
在将应答器标签粘到待标识载体上之前,必须将一个载体层例如一层硅酮纸撕下。
上述应答器标签都是自粘型应答器标签,它们可以粘在一个载体如物品上或粘在CD-ROM等上。
另一种非自粘型应答器标签的实施形式规定,载体本身就是一个薄层,例如是另一个可打印的覆膜或覆层。
这样的应答器标签例如也可以具有信用卡、芯片卡等形式,这样一来,它例如可被用于通行确认等。
本发明的其它优点和特点是以下说明书以及一些实施例的附图的内容。附图表示:

图2是本发明所用的第一应答器标签的侧剖视图;
图3是图1所示应答器标签的第二实施形式的侧剖视图;
图4是本发明所用的另一应答器标签的侧剖视图。
图1所示的一个整体用10表示的应答器标签例如成圆形。在应答器标签10上设有一芯片40及一天线22。
应答器标签10的分层结构在图2中示意示出了。
芯片40布置在一个应答器膜30上,在这里,芯片基本上被埋在一胶层50中,胶层例如可作为粘接膜来构成并具有厚度d,该厚度至少与芯片40厚度相当。在芯片40区域内,胶层50有一个凹穴52,凹穴轮廓最好能与芯片40的构形相匹配。
应答器膜30同时可作为覆膜来设计,必要时,它可在其背向芯片40的一侧进行打印。
在图3所示的另一实施例中,与图1、2所示第一实施例中的部件相同的部件采用相同的标记,因此,关于其描述,完全参照对第一实施例的描述内容。该实施例与第一实施例的区别在于:设有一个成覆膜70形式的附加的覆层,它在必要时是可以打印的。
在图4所示的本发明的另一应答器标签里,与图1、2所示应答器标签中的不见相同的部件也采用同一标记,因此,关于其描述,也完全参照对第一、第二实施例的有关描述内容。
与以上结合图1、2以及结合图3所介绍的应答器标签不同,在图4所示的应答器标签中,层结构有点反过来。芯片40是向外敞露布置的,这一点毫无问题是可行的,因为其接点布置在它朝向应答器膜30的那侧并且例如是按照倒装技术来设计和接通的。芯片40本身被埋在一覆层70’中,该覆层的厚度d’至少等于芯片40的厚度,而且在必要时,该覆层是可以打印的。
在芯片40区域内,覆层70’有一个凹穴72’,凹穴形状与芯片40的轮廓匹配,或者,例如简单地通过冲压等方法被制成圆形。
在这种应答器标签中,在应答器膜30的朝向芯片40的那侧设有一个胶层50’,它例如成很薄的粘结膜的形式,如图4所示,应答器标签可以利用该胶层粘在载体60上。
在将上述那些应答器标签粘在一个待标识载体上之前,载体层例如一片硅酮纸应当被撕下来。
上述应答器标签都是自粘型标签。另外,也可以将这些标签设计成非自粘型标签。在此情况下,这些标签不是粘在一个载体60上,而是载体60是由一载体层60’形成的,该载体层例如这样构成,即与应答器膜30一样,或者象在结合图3所述的实施例中那样与覆膜70一样。这样的非自粘型应答器标签例如可以具有信用卡、芯片卡的构形或其它任何形状,因此,它例如可被用作通行确认卡。

Claims (13)

1.应答器标签,它具有一个其上设有芯片(40)的应答器膜(30)和一胶层(50),其特征如下:
-胶层(50)具有一厚度(d),该厚度至少等于该芯片(40)的厚度;
-在该芯片(40)区域内,在该胶层(50)上设有一个凹穴(52)。
2.按权利要求1所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该凹穴(52)具有一个轮廓,该轮廓与该芯片(40)的形状相匹配。
3.按权利要求1或2所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该应答器膜(30)在其背向该芯片(40)的一侧有一个可打印的覆层(70)。
4.应答器标签,它有一个其上布置有芯片(40)的应答器膜(30)、一个胶层(50’)和一个可打印的覆层,其特征如下:
-该胶层(50’)设置在该应答器膜(30)的背向该芯片(40)的一侧上;
-该芯片(40)被埋在该覆层(70’)中,该覆层的厚度(d’)至少等于该芯片的厚度,该覆层在该芯片(40)的区域内有一个凹穴(72’)。
5.按权利要求4所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该凹穴(72’)具有一个轮廓,该轮廓与该芯片(40)的形状相匹配。
6.按权利要求3-5之一所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该覆层(70,70’)是一个可打印的覆膜。
7.按权利要求1-6之一所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该应答器膜(30)和/或该覆层(70,70’)和/或该胶层(50)都具有用于重量平衡的凹穴(80)。
8.按权利要求1-7之一所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该应答器膜(30)由不透明材料做成。
9.按权利要求1或2或4-8之一所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该应答器膜(30)成覆膜形式。
10.按权利要求9所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该应答器膜(30)在其背向该芯片的那侧是可以打印的。
11.按权利要求1-10之一所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该胶层(50)由一个可撕下的载体层且特别是硅酮纸覆盖着。
12.按权利要求1-10之一所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该胶层(50)同另一个可打印的或不可打印的覆层(60’)相连。
13.按权利要求12所述的应答器标签,其特征在于:该应答器标签成信用卡、芯片卡等形式。
