Abstract

Description

无变压器的容错气囊总线系统
本发明涉及用于汽车的气囊系统。图1展示出一个常规的气囊系统包括若干引爆级2、4,微控制器6和撞车传感器8。引爆级2、4对流经爆管(squib)10、12的引爆电流进行开关切换以便在撞车时在恰当的时间引爆气囊。因为每个爆管需要二根导线,所以大量爆管需要大量导线。这些导线短路接地或者电池短路会引起不需要的气囊引爆。
在撞车时,有可能会失去连接至汽车电池的电气连接。因此所有气囊系统都包括一个能量储备电容(ERC)14以便在撞车时在有限的时间内维持该系统的运行。通过转换器装置16将该ERC电容14充电至一个相对高的电压,例如转换器装置16将12V的电池18的电压充至30V。该高电压被用来供应给引爆级2、4。降压转换器20将该高电压转换成针对微控制器6和撞车传感器8的工作电压,通常为5V。
图2展示出一个常规的联网的气囊系统,该系统采用了将多个智能爆管22、24连接到总线驱动器26的双线引爆总线。该双线承载数据传输信号和至智能爆管22、24的电源供应。爆管10、12是实际引爆气囊的引爆器。用来引爆该爆管的能量被储备在智能爆管22、24内的局部电容中,用于引爆爆管的能量储备现在位于智能爆管内,但是仍然需要用于撞车传感器8和控制总线驱动器26的微控制器6的储备能量。
联网的气囊系统的优点之一是在总线导线中的一条线上发生故障时不会导致不想要的爆管展开。如果整个引爆总线由一个浮动电源供电,那么在该总线上的公共模式电压是不确定的。这意味着在总线导线中的一条线短路接地或接电池电压时系统仍然正常运行。为了构成浮动电源,需要一个带变压器30的DC-DC转换器28。但是变压器是一种昂贵的部件。
本发明的目的是提供一种无变压器的气囊系统。为实现此目的,本发明提供了一种如权利要求1所述的气囊系统。该能量储备电容器分成二部分:主要部分提供给微控制器和撞车传感器,以及另一部分提供给该浮动总线驱动器。该另一部分通过在撞车时打开的开关被连接至主要部分。该开关将能量储备电容器的另一部分以及与之相连的所有部件同系统其它部分断开,所以在撞车时形成了浮动电源。

图3是根据本发明的气囊系统的方块图。该系统有一个双线引爆总线32,该总线将多个智能爆管22、24连接至总线驱动器26。该双线32承载数据传输信号以及至智能爆管22、24的电源供应。爆管10、12是实际引爆气囊的引爆器。用来引爆爆管10、12的能量储备在处于智能爆管22、24内的本地电容器(未示出)中。用来引爆爆管10、12的能量储备在处于智能爆管22、24内。因为在撞车时,有可能会失去连接至汽车电池的电气连接。因此该气囊系统包括一个主要能量储备电容(ERC)14以便在撞车时在有限的时间内维持该系统的运行。通过转换器装置16将该ERC电容14充电至一个相对高的电压,例如转换器装置16将12V的电池18的电压充至30V。降压转换器20将该高电压转换成针对撞车传感器8和控制总线驱动器26的微控制器6的工作电压,通常为5V。该系统还有另一个通过二个在正常情况下是闭合的开关与主要能量储备电容14并联的能量储备电容34。通过降压转换器40将另一个能量储备电容34的相对高的电压转换成总线驱动器26的工作电压。
当开关36和38处于开的状态时,例如受来自微控制器6的控制信号42的控制,另一个能量储备电容34所储备的能量在撞车时足够供应总线驱动器26。在这种方式中,该另一个能量储备电容器34和所有与之相连的部件同系统其它部分脱离开,所以在撞车时形成了浮动电源。这意味着在总线导线中的一条线短路接地或接电池电压时系统仍然正常运行。

Claims (2)

1.一种气囊系统,包括:
用于引爆气囊的引爆器(10,12);
一个用于引爆器(10,12)之间相互连接的引爆总线(32);
一个用于给引爆总线(32)供应能量的总线驱动器(26);
一个用于给该气囊系统提供电源电压的主要能量储备电容(14);
通过开关(36,38)与主要能量储备电容(14)并联耦合的另一个能量储备电容(34),用于接收电源电压;并且
一个用于将电源电压转换成针对总线驱动器(26)的工作电压的电源(40)。
2.如权利要求1所述的气囊系统,还包括在撞车情况下打开开关(36,38)的装置(6,42)。
