-与服务器相连的控制网络(110、126);
-与服务器相连的可控制的CE子系统(114、110、128);其中
-手持式设备能通过因特网和服务器作为用户可控制的CE设备的遥控器;
一种在服务器运行以解释通过数据网络从手持式设备接收的用户输入和生成CE设备的控制命令的软件(124)。
9.权利要求7的软件,其中该软件是用户可编程的,以便将特定的用户输入与CE设备的特定控制命令相联系。
10.权利要求8的软件,其中:
-手持式设备包含GUI(118);和
该软件能处理在CE设备捕获的内容信息,用于将该内容信息通过数据网络发送到手持式设备。
