Abstract

本申请为申请号00813138.4的分案申请。
技术领域
本发明涉及动力驱动夹头,并且特别是涉及具有三角形的柄部容纳孔的动力驱动夹头,和涉及具有用来与该夹头组装在一起的三角形柄部的附件。
背景技术
在过去,夹头曾被设计成用来容纳各种横截面的柄部。这种横截面通常具有包括六角形及圆形的构形。对于适应六角形柄部的夹头的制造,考虑到该夹头的孔通常要加工五个壁,这是比较昂贵的作业。也曾经设计了适应六角形柄部以及其它柄部构形的其它壁结构。然而,这种其它壁结构是复杂的并且制造也是昂贵的。
于是,需要一种夹头,它制造起来是经济的和相对容易的,同时也容易接纳不同构形的柄部。
此外,需要附件,例如,诸如具有经济的及容易制造的柄部的钻具刀头,它可适用于上述经济的及容易制造的夹头。
在某些夹头中,如滚珠那样的锁紧元件具有作用在其上的偏置力,用于把锁紧元件驱动进入把柄部锁紧在该夹头孔内的位置。以偏置力固定地直接作用在锁紧元件上,将导致结构的完整性的损失,这会对该夹头锁紧装置的工作有不利的影响。
因此,需要提供一种在夹头中的锁紧元件,该元件不会受到直接作用的偏置力。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的是提供一种夹头,它能经济地并相对更容易地制造,同时还提供接纳不同构形的柄部的装置。
本发明的另一个目的是提供一种柄部,它能经济地并容易地制造。
本发明还有的另一个目的是提供一种具有锁紧元件的夹头,该锁紧元件不会受到直接作用的偏置力。
考虑到这些及其它的目的,本发明设想了一种用于容纳和夹紧具有某一横截面的柄部的动力驱动夹头,该横截面选自由三角形横截面构形及六角形横截面构形组成的组。该夹头包含主体及柄部容纳孔,该主体具有前端面,该柄部容纳孔制在该主体的前端面上并从该前端面延伸入该主体内。该孔制有三个成角度的分界表面,这些分界表面布置成驱动地与柄部接合。提供了用夹头锁紧柄部的装置。
本发明还设想了用于容纳和夹紧柄部的动力驱动夹头,并且该夹头包含其内制有柄部容纳孔的主体及外表面。通道制在主体上并从外表面延伸至该孔。其中锁紧元件具有可在该通道内移动的滚珠表面并且其一部分可延伸至该孔内。销元件与该锁紧元件组装在一起并从该锁紧元件伸出。提供了通常用于驱使销元件并由此使锁紧元件进入一位置的弹簧,由此锁紧元件滚珠表面的部分通常延伸入该孔内。
本发明还设想了附件,该附件含有制成三角形横截面的柄部。

具体实施方式
参考图1,夹头30可与例如用虚线表示的钻具32之类的动力驱动器接合以使该夹头转动。夹头30被设计成具有三角形形状的柄部容纳开口或孔34,该开口或孔34用于容纳和锁住多个附件的不同构形柄部,这些附件包含例如:(1)具有六角形柄部38带槽40的刀头36(图2),(2)具有三角形横截面柄部44带有槽48的刀头42(图3),该柄部44在三角形横截面的棱处制有微凸表面46(图12),以及(3)具有三角形横截面柄部52带槽54的刀头50(图4)。
三个刀头36、42及50的柄部38、44及52,也可分别用具有其它的柄部容纳开口的夹头来容纳及夹紧,该其它的柄部容纳开口例如分别是夹头64、66、68及70的图示的前端面开口56、58、60及62,分别如图8、9、10及11中所示。柄部38、44及52也可被容纳在某些夹头的各种柄部容纳开口中,这些夹头被公开在:1998年11月13日申请的现在被放弃的,美国的系列NO.60/108,336专利申请和其后继者1999年11月12日申请的美国系列号为09/439,505的待批准非临时的专利申请中,其公开的内容在此作为为参考。
参考图14,夹头30含有夹头主体72、端盖74及套76。主体72以三部分制成一个整体,该三部分标记为:具有第一外直径的前部分78;具有比第一直径大的第二外直径的中部分80;和具有比第一直径小的第三外直径的后部82。柄部容纳开口34轴向地制在前部分78上,从其前端面84起的长度(距离)约等于该前部分78轴向长度的3/4。
通道86制在前部分78的外圆周表面88上并穿透该前部分78与开口34沟通。通道86制成与夹头30的轴线成一定角度并从通道86与圆周表面88的交汇处朝该轴线及前端面84延伸。通道86的尺寸正好可容纳滚珠90在其内移动。
套76制有孔92,该孔92围绕夹头主体72的圆周表面设置以使套76可相对该夹头主体轴向移动。套76制有锪孔94,锪孔94的一部分围绕中部分80的外圆周表面96以便相对中部分80轴向移动。锪孔底部表面98制在套76上并且与锪孔94、圆周表面88及中部分80的前表面100一起构成接纳弹簧104的封闭腔102。端盖74压配在主体72的圆周表面88的前部分上,由此,套76被锁定在如图示的组装的结构中,但可相对该主体轴向移动一限定的轴向距离。
主体72的后部分82形成棒或柄部,它可以装配及夹持在钻具32具,以便当该钻具工作时使该夹头30能易于转动。另一种方法是,可从后部82的尾部制有带螺纹的轴向孔,以使该夹头30易于安装在该钻具32的螺纹主轴上。
参考图7,两个相对的间隔的槽106和108形成在通道86的相对的壁部分上。槽106和108中每一个都从通道86的开口延伸至靠近该通道与开口34汇合处的方形底面110,通道86与夹头体72的圆周表面88连接。如图5中所示,槽106及108中的每一个的方形底面110的前角与套76的锪孔底部表面98略微重叠。如图6中所示,在图中以106表示的槽制成和通道86一样具有朝前指向轴向的角度。
参考图5、13及14,滚珠90上制有用于容纳销114的中间部分的通孔112,销114从滚珠90的相对两侧延伸相等距离。如图13所示,销114的相对两端部延伸至该两端部与底部表面98重叠的位置,并且如图5所示,当滚珠90处于其少部分90a延伸入开口34时,销114的相对两端部也位于槽106及108的底面110内。在此位置上,弹簧104安置在销114的与弹簧104相邻部分上以正常地驱使该销与每个槽106及108的底面110进入接合并和套76的底部表面98的与弹簧104相邻部分进入接合。这提供了一种装置,用于正常地驱使滚珠90进入使其部分90a延伸入开口34的位置。
当使用夹头30时,操作者把例如刀头50的柄部52的后端部(图4)插入夹头的三角形开口34内。由于刀头50的持续插入运动,柄部52的后端部与用于以夹头锁住柄部的装置接合,该装置包含滚珠90及它的部分90a,并驱使该滚珠完全进入通道86,这使该刀头的插入运动得以继续。最终,刀头50的槽54与通道86对准而被压缩的弹簧104的偏置力驱使作为锁紧元件的滚珠90进一步进入该通道,由此部分90a进入槽54以便通过锁紧装置的作用有效地用夹头30锁紧刀头50。
为了从夹头30中取出刀头50,操作者拉回套76,由此该套的底部表面98被移向夹头后部以使销114的端部在槽106及108内倾斜地向后移动。最终,由于滚珠90的倾斜向后移动,滚珠90的部分90a被拉回通道86内,而此时刀头50就能从夹头30中取出。
参考图12,实线三角形构成图的周边,并且一方面代表夹头30的三角形开口34,而且另一方面也代表其柄部正在被插入开口的刀头50的三角形柄部52(图4),实线三角形内的虚线三角代表刀头50的槽54。
实线三角形的大部分还代表刀头42的柄部44(图3),带有凸出表面46也被显示出,所有这些都位于开口34之内。虚线三角形也代表刀头42的槽48。
还有,刀头36的柄部38(图2)的六角形构形的三个实线表面被显示成与实线的各个边的中间部分重合的结构,该实线代表开口34。代表柄部38的其余三个边的三条实线被显示在代表开口34的实线内。在图12中心的虚线圆代表刀头36的槽40。
Claims (9)
1.一种用于容纳和夹紧柄部的动力驱动夹头,它包括:
一具有制在其内的柄部容纳孔和外表面的主体;
一制在该主体上并从该外表面延伸至该孔的通道;
其特征在于,还包括:
一具有可在该通道内移动的滚珠表面并具有可延伸入该孔内的部分的锁紧元件;
一与该锁紧元件组装在一起并从该锁紧元件延伸的销元件;以及
用于驱使该销元件移动的弹簧,并由此使该锁紧元件进入该锁紧元件的滚珠表面的部分延伸入该孔内的位置。
2如权利要求1所述的动力驱动夹头,其特征在于,该锁紧元件是滚珠。
3.如权利要求1所述的动力驱动夹头,其特征在于,还包括:
一制在该主体上对准并沟道该通道的槽;以及
该销元件位于该槽内并在槽内移动。
4.如权利要求3所述的动力驱动夹头,它还包括:
一位于规定平面内与该通道相邻的底部表面,该规定表面具有第一侧边和第二侧边,该第一侧边面对该销元件的主要部分,而该第二部分与该第一部分相对;
一该槽的第一部分位于该底部表面的该平面的该第一侧边上;
该槽制有底面,至少该槽的第二部分延伸穿过该平面并远离该平面的该第二侧边;
一该销元件的第一部分通常被该弹簧驱使进入与该槽的该底面接合;和
一该销元件的第二部分通常被该弹簧驱使进入与该底部表面接触,该底部表面在该平面的该第一侧边上。
5.如权利要求4所述的动力驱动夹头,其特征在于,该槽的该底面被布置成阻止该销元件的任何驱使运动超出该底面,由此来建立通常延伸入该孔内该锁紧元件的部分尺寸。
6.如权利要求4所述的动力驱动夹头,它还包括:

该销元件位于该通孔内并从该通孔延伸。

一制在该锁紧元件上的通孔;
该销元件具有位于该通孔内的中间部分和从该通孔的相对端延伸的相对端部分。
8.如权利要求4所述的动力驱动夹头,它还包括:
一分布在该主体上以相对该主体移动的套;以及
一构成底部表面的套表面。
9.如权利要求8所述的动力驱动夹头,它还包括:
该主体制有中间部分,该中间部分具有面向并与该套的该底部表面相间隔的前表面;
形成在该底部表面与该前表面之间的腔;以及
该弹簧位该腔内。
