Description

无针注射器筒体
本发明涉及无针注射器筒体。
无针注射器通常作为常规皮下注射器的替换产品以将液体药物注射到患者的组织中。操作的一般原理是高压活塞泵,该泵以足够的力推压液体射流以刺穿表皮并且沉积在皮下组织中。这种装置已经使用了五十年以上,并且大多数的例子是多剂量装置,即:可以从容器中连续抽出多个剂量,每个剂量从一个整体的压力室中被配送出。原动力来自于所储存的电能、人力能、烟火药或压缩气体能。
在十九世纪八十年代,有一些报道表明在使用多剂量注射器的过程中存在交叉污染,这促进了对安全方式的研究,发明了包括多剂量动力单元或致动器的各种注射器,一个一次性的注射筒体可以固定在其上。这些筒体通常拟借助传送装置由使用者填充,由此可以从一个药瓶中将药物抽出并且将其传送到筒体。由此产生了几个问题:实际上不可能获得药物的无菌传送;存在有在筒体中夹带大量气泡的可能性,而这会降低注射性能;并且存在所制备的待注射量不正确的可能性。已采取了几个措施来尝试供给预充填的筒体,但用于筒体的大多数材料不适于与药物长期接触,或者至少对每一应用而言将需要昂贵的成本。
用于大多数应用的理想材料是硼硅酸盐玻璃,因为它具有所需的稳定性、透明性和阻隔性能。无针注射器中达到的压力可能非常高-约600巴-并且由玻璃制造的筒体需要非常仔细的设计和加工以避免破裂。我们共同未决的申请WO98/13086描述了一种制造玻璃无针注射器筒体的方法,但是该方法需要对专业设备作出大规模投资以便对于多数应用而言获得低部件成本。
某些药物不能在玻璃中长时间储存,因此必须将其储存在某些其它材料中。在这些情况下,那些其它材料仍然不能承受高的注射压力。
本发明旨在通过提供一个无针注射器筒体来克服现有装置的缺点,该无针注射器筒体包括一个作为其连接部分的液体药物容器,具有将液体从容器传送到从其进行注射的筒体的部分中。
根据本发明,提供了一个无针注射器筒体,包括:
一个注射部件,在其中限定了用以接收药物的内腔并且具有与所述内腔连通的注射排放孔;以及
一个包括液体容器和传送部件的传送装置,该传送部件使液体从容器通过容器出口流到所述内腔。
优选地,所述容器由玻璃制成,但是如果玻璃不适用于与药物长期储存接触,则可以采用其它材料。注射部件可以由适用于与药物短期接触并且适用于特别高的注射压力的材料制成。不锈钢或液晶聚合物是两种适用的不同材料,或者采用材料的组合来优化成本、性能和尺寸需求,例如一个不昂贵的聚丙烯筒体可以被安放在一个钢制壳体中,而后者在注射过程中对塑料提供支承。
在第一个优选的实施方案中,设有塑料注射部件,其优选是一个具有活塞的缸体并且在一端具有一个小的排放口。在排放端优选地与注射部件同轴相连的是一个开口的缸体,在该缸体中放置了一个由与其中容纳的药物相容的材料制成的容器。容器在一端具有一个锐利的排放管,另一端具有一柱塞,药物被盛放在柱塞和排放管之间。一个弹性密封件围绕着排放管的外侧并对其加以密封,并且还密封了注射部件的排放孔。该密封件在容器和注射部件之间提供了一个管路,但是它是由一个隔膜临时阻挡的。注射部件中的活塞被设置成使得注射部件能容纳所需体积的液体,并且在活塞和隔膜之间的内腔被排空。容器支座上的螺纹盖作用在容器中的柱塞上,所以当螺纹盖转动时,柱塞将容器向前推进直到容器排放管将隔膜穿孔。盖的继续移动能从容器向注射部件中配送所需体积的药物。然后容器支座、容器、柱塞和盖子被拆卸,填充好的注射部件准备使用。采用螺纹盖可以使使用者稳定地移动柱塞,从而可以避免任何突然的冲击,因此减小了液体经受所不希望的泡沫化的可能性。这还意味着有一个较大的力施加在柱塞上,从而与其它情况相比可以采用较大直径的柱塞。这又意味着容器可以较短,从而有助于使传送装置的总体长度变短。筒体可以被连接到一个多用途致动器或一个单用途装置上,或者在填充之前已经被预组装过。
第二个优选的实施方案提供了一个如第一个优选实施方案中所述的传送液体的装置,其中冻干(lyophilised)(凝固干燥)的药物或其它干燥材料被容纳在被抽空的注射部件中,以所述方式传送液体使得所述材料溶解,从而可以注射材料。
第三个优选实施方案与第一个类似,只是容器装有两个间隔开的柱塞,在空间中盛装有液体。柱塞的前移将液体带至容器壁中一个或多个旁通凹槽中,从而液体流经凹槽并且流入注射部件。
在上面描述的所有实施方案中,在筒体中具有真空,这样可以减小在传送液体所捕获的大气泡的机会。注射部件中活塞以足够的摩擦被保持就位,以便防止其由于压力差产生的移动。如果气泡的存在不是特别重要的,那么第四个实施方案具有一个初始设置在注射部件的注射排放孔附近的活塞,当传送容器中的内含物时,活塞根据由传送机构产生的液压压力来产生移动。这个实施方案并不需要在填充之前排空药物腔室,但是如果需要将捕获的空气减少到非常小的体积,在填充之前将容器中的内腔排空可实现这个目的。
参照附图将详细描述本发明,所有都是基本上圆柱形装置的中心线部分。

为了清楚起见,同样的部件尽可能地用相同的标号表示。
参照图1,用于无针注射的注射部件1具有一个通过易折断的连接件3加以连接的容器支座2。可滑动地设置在支座2中的是包含液体药物5的药物容器4。一个排放管6与容器4相连或成整体,容器4与药物5以流体方式连接,并且终止于锐利的斜面7。一个管状密封件8防止细菌侵入药物5和注射部件1的排放孔9。一个柱塞10以密封和滑动方式安装在容器4的孔中并且与药物5接触,优选在药物5中没有(或者仅有一小量)夹带捕获的空气。螺纹盖11安装在容器支座2上,并且具有一个与柱塞10接合的中心杆。密封件8具有一个隔膜13,在隔膜被刺穿之前,可以防止容器4的内含物被传送到注射部件1中。
参看图4,注射部件1具有以密封和可滑动方式装配在其中的密活塞14,且具有用于连接到无针注射器致动器或动力单元的螺纹15。或者,连接装置可以是卡扣件、单独的夹子或者其它方便的装置,以有利于实际装置的设计和应用,或者筒体可以与动力单元成一整体。图5与图4相似,只是注射部件1包括一个安装在其中的独立的衬套16,以便提供对药物和应用而言特定的性能。在图4和图5中,在活塞14和隔膜13之间的内腔17被抽空至0.1巴。
图6示出螺纹盖11操作使得杆12将柱塞10推向注射部件1的情况。药物5不能逸出,因此整个容器4与盖11和杆12一起移动。当锐利的斜面端部7到达隔膜13时,它切穿隔膜并且使得药物5通过排放管6的孔流动至图3所示注射部件1的衬套16中的内腔17内。由于内腔17和容器4之间的压力差,大多数液体将被传送,柱塞10的继续移动完成了药物5的传送。所传送的量通过根据支座4外侧上的与容积相关的标记(未示出)调整螺纹盖11来进行控制,或者活塞14可以到达一个由注射部件1或动力单元内的孔中的结构所决定的止动位置。
在使用者通过从传送装置传送液体将注射部件填充之后,整个容器和相关的部件与注射部件在易折断的连接部3处脱离开,如图7所示,填充后的注射部件拟与动力单元连接。或者,筒体已经通过制造商连接于动力单元(如上所述,两个部件可以例如成一整体)。易折断的连接部3可以是注射部件1和支座2的一体模制件结构,或者它可以是一个单独的连接装置,以便提供一个带有启用显示的一次装置,从而防止误用或滥用。
图2示出一个与上述类似的组件,只是活塞14最初位于注射部件1的排放端。当药物5从容器被传送时,液压压力迫使活塞14沿注射部件1的孔移动直到足够的药物被传送出。
某些应用需要在注射之前重新构成冻干药物,图3示出与图4相似的一个组件,但是具有位于内腔17中的冻干材料18的丸剂。在此,真空有助于通过防止水合作用来保存冻干材料。
在图8和图9中示出用于传送药物的另一种方法。一个附加的柱塞20被组装到容器4a中,柱塞20和10之间的药物5被传送。密封件8a不需包括一个隔膜,因为活塞能防止药物5流入到注射部件1中,即使内腔17a与内腔17真空连接。如果需要,通过采用一个止动件或制动件可以防止活塞20因压力差而导致的移动。
参照图9,螺纹盖11被操作以朝向注射部件移动杆12和柱塞10。药物15被夹带在活塞10和20之间,并且与活塞一起移动直到活塞20的润湿表面到达容器4a壁中的一个或多个凹槽19。然后活塞20停止,因为不具有足够的液压来使之移动。并且药物5流经凹槽19而流入注射部件1。然后,容器和相关部件如上所述被拆卸,并且注射部件可以使用。

Claims (17)

1.一种无针注射器筒体,包括:
一个注射部件,在其中限定了用以接收药物的内腔并且具有与所述内腔连通的注射排放孔;以及
一个包括液体容器和传送部件的传送装置,该传送部件使液体从容器通过容器出口流到所述内腔。
2.权利要求1的筒体,其特征在于,所述传送装置被设置成使得液体通过排放孔流入到所述内腔中。
3.权利要求2的筒体,其特征在于,所述传送装置包括一个与所述注射器部件相连的支座,所述容器可移动地安装在所述支座中以便朝向注射部件移动,所述传送装置包括一个可朝向容器出口移动的活塞。
