发明背景
几个世纪以来,一直用基于水的方法来洗涤纺织品。在上一世纪,由于开发了自动洗衣机,这种家务被极大地简化。然而,虽然极大地简化了家庭洗衣方法,但使用自动洗衣机的家庭洗衣方法仍需要依据颜色和纺织原料进行大量的预分纺织品处理。典型地,白色织物与有色织物分开洗涤,光亮的有色纺织品(如黑红色和蓝色)与浅色制品分开洗涤。而且当被洗涤的纺织品包括“仅可干洗”的制品时,还需要分类和处理。

已发现通过使用适于家庭洗衣方法的基于亲脂性流体的洗涤介质,可进一步简化自动家庭洗衣方法和消除对仅基于水的家庭洗衣方法的依赖。该方法不仅适于消费者的“仅可干洗”纺织品的家庭清洗,还适于那些通常在家里,在水洗涤介质中洗涤的“机洗”制品。而且当消费者仍倾向于分开洗涤这类制品时,本发明的方法通过洗涤“仅可干洗”和“机洗”制品的混合物,使得消费者具有使家庭洗衣方法显著简化的自由,从而极大地简化了预分类工作。

发明详述
此处使用的术语“织物”是指通常在传统的洗衣过程中或在干洗过程中清洗的任何制品。同样地,该术语包含衣服,亚麻,装饰织物,和衣服附件的制品。该术语还包含整体或部分用织物制造的其它物品,如手袋,家具罩,帆布等。
优选所述织物由选自天然纤维,合成纤维,和它们的混合物的纤维构成。更优选地,所述织物由选自:纤维素纤维,蛋白质纤维,合成纤维,长植物纤维,和它们的混合物的纤维构成。
优选纤维素纤维选自棉,人造丝,亚麻,Tencel,复/棉(poly/cotton)和它们的混合物。
Tencel是由来自在树木经常被再植的美国特殊的林场上生长的树木的木浆制成的纤维素纤维。该纤维是通过一种使用99%可回收和可再循环的无毒溶剂的特殊的“溶液纺丝”方法生产的。由于在该过程期间未产生有毒的化学产物,所以无有害的气体释放到大气中。Tencel具有华贵的纤维的所有特征:天然,棉的适当舒适感,人造丝的流畅的悬垂性(fluid drape)和丰富色彩,合成纤维的强度,和丝绸的奢华手感和光泽。Tencel的织物具有优越的强度,奢华的手感和流畅的悬垂性,具有天然的易吸收性和舒适性,并易于接受染料,具有从浅轻淡色彩到丰富的宝石色调。它们还抗皱和抗收缩,并常常是可洗涤的。Tencel可与其它纤维结合-Tencel增强它们的最佳属性。例如,一种可与亚麻,人造丝,合成弹力纤维,微旦聚酯和棉结合。Tencel的高强度使得能够生产具有较细的织物经纬密度的织物。市场上,Tencel可购自Courtaulds Fibers有限公司。
优选蛋白质纤维选自丝绸,羊毛和相关的哺乳动物纤维,和它们的混合物。优选合成纤维选自聚酯、丙烯酸类、尼龙、和它们的混合物。优选长植物纤维选自黄麻,亚麻,苎麻,椰纤维,爪哇木棉,剑麻,灰叶剑麻,蕉麻,大麻,印度麻和它们的混合物。
纱-提供一种更细密的,更柔软的并且很少起皱的织物。
此处使用的术语“亲脂性流体”是意图表示任何能去除皮脂的非含水流体,如同用下面描述的试验所限定的。
而且,任选的添加剂成分如表面活性剂,漂白剂等既可在织物施用前加入(直接加到亲脂性流体和/或水中),也可在织物施用期间的某一点加入。下面也更详细地描述这些任选的添加剂成分。
此处使用的术语“洗涤介质”指的是液体[包括但不局限于流体和/或溶液和/或溶剂和/或乳剂],其用于在自动家庭洗衣过程期间以洗涤量润湿纺织品。

测量纺织品吸收能力的试验方案
步骤1:漂洗并干燥即将加入亲脂性流体的贮液器或其它容器。清洗贮液器使其完全不含任何异物,尤其是肥皂,洗涤剂和湿润剂。
步骤2:称量要试验的“干”纺织品以获得该“干”纺织品的重量。
步骤3:将2L约20℃的亲脂性流体倒入贮液器。
步骤4:将来自步骤2的纺织品置于含亲脂性流体的贮液器中。
步骤5:在贮液器中搅拌该纺织品,以保证纺织品内部位留下气穴,并且被亲脂性流体彻底润湿。
步骤6:将纺织品从含亲脂性流体的贮液器中移走。
步骤7:如果必要,展开纺织品,使得相同或相对纺织品表面之间不互相接触。

术语“非浸渍(non-immersive)”指的是基本上所有的流体与纺织品密切接触。存在至多最小量的“自由”洗液。它不象“浸渍(immersive)”过程,即洗涤流体为这样的一种浴液,在其中纺织品如同在传统的垂直轴洗衣机中那样被浸没,或如同在传统的水平洗衣机中那样被浸渍。按照下面非浸渍方法的试验方案更详细地说明术语“非浸渍”。当满足下面试验方案时,用流体接触纺织品的方法为非浸渍方法。
非浸渍方法试验方案
步骤1:利用上述测量纺织品吸收能力的试验方案确定织物样品的吸收能力。
步骤2:进行纺织品与流体相接触的过程,使得一定量的流体接触纺织品。

织物护理组合物
本发明的织物护理组合物和/或体系包含一种香料组分,优选包含选自耐久香料成分,低气味检测阈香料成分和它们的混合物的持久香料成分。
本发明的香料组分优选包含香料成分,其不是通常要避免亲水成分的典型的洗衣香料。
当亲脂性流体为组合物的一个成分时,本发明的织物护理组合物和/或体系优选包含占组合物重量的至少约50%,更优选约50%-约100%的亲脂性流体。
本发明的含香料的织物护理组合物和/或体系的香料成分优选占织物护理组合物重量的约0.1%-约25%,更优选约0.2%-约10%,甚至更优选约0.3%-约5%,最优选约0.4%-约2%。
按照本发明的香料组分优选包含占香料组分重量的至少约25%,更优选至少约40%,甚至更优选至少约60%,最优选至少约75%的持久香料成分。
本发明的织物护理组合物和/或体系优选包含水;更优选包含水和一种乳剂。
当所述织物护理组合物中包含水时,优选水以占组合物重量的少于约50%,更优选约0.1%-约50%的含量存在。
优选织物护理组合物是液体形式,并优选通过将织物护理组合物喷到被处理的织物上而施用于织物。
亲脂性流体
此处的亲脂性流体是在操作条件下以液相存在的流体。通常,这种流体在环境温度和压力下可以为完全流动的,可以是易于熔化的固体,如在约0℃-约60℃的温度范围内变为液体的固体,或在环境温度和压力如25℃,1个大气压下,可包含液体和汽相的混合物。因而,该亲脂性流体本质上不是可压缩的气体如二氧化碳。优选此处的亲脂性流体是易燃的,或具有相对高的闪点和/或低的VOC特征,这些术语具有其用于干洗行业的常规含义,它们等于或优选超过已知的常规干洗流体的特性。
此处合适的亲脂性流体易于流动,并是非粘性的。通常,如在下文试验中定义的,此处的亲脂性流体必需是能至少部分溶解皮脂或身体污垢的流体。亲脂性流体的混合物也是合适的,并且假如满足试验的需要,亲脂性流体可包括任何部分的干-洗溶剂,尤其是包括非-氟化溶剂或全氟胺在内的更新类型的干-洗溶剂。一些全氟胺例如全氟三丁基胺,虽然不适于作为亲脂性流体使用,但可以是很多可能存在于亲脂性流体中的添加剂的一种。其它合适的亲脂性流体包括二醇溶剂体系,如高级二醇如C6-或C8-或更高级二醇;包括环状和无环两种类型的有机硅溶剂等;和它们的混合物。
优选适于作为亲脂性流体主要成分加入的非水性流体包括低-挥发性的非-氟化有机物,硅氧烷,尤其是除了氨基-官能的硅氧烷之外的那些硅氧烷,和它们的混合物。低挥发性非氟化有机物包括例如OLEAN和其它多元醇酯,或一些相对非挥发性的、可生物降解的、中链支化的石油馏分。适于用作亲脂性流体主要成分如大于50%的硅氧烷包括环戊硅氧烷,有时表示为“D5”,或具有大约相似挥发性的线性类似物,备选由其它相容的硅氧烷补充。合适的硅氧烷在参考文献中是众所周知的,参见例如Kirk Othmer著Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology,可购自许多商业来源,包括General Electric,Toshiba Silicone,Bayer,和Dow Corning公司。其它合适的流体可在市场上购自Procter & Gamble或Dow Chemical和其它供应商。例如一种合适的硅氧烷是购自GE的硅氧烷流体SF-1528。值得注意的是SF-1528流体是90%环戊硅氧烷(D5)。
依据处理的种类,可以机械方式,蒸发方式或它们的任一种结合的方式去除亲脂性流体。例如,如果处理的目的是提供清洗,以机械方式例如通过旋转从纺织品上去除至少50%的织物处理液是理想的。另一方面,如果处理的目的是将调节剂沉积在织物中,优选以蒸发的方式去除液体。
亲脂性流体的资格鉴定-亲脂性流体试验(LF试验)
用下述试验方法指出的任何一种非水性流体适于在此处作为亲脂性流体,所述非水流体既能满足适于干-洗流体的已知要求(如闪点等),又能至少部分溶解皮脂。可用任何已知的技术测量一种具体物质去除皮脂的能力。作为一般标准,全氟丁胺(Fluorinert FC-43)本身(加或不加添加剂)是参考物质,在D5溶解皮脂的情况下,根据定义此参考物质作为这里的亲脂性流体(它本来是非-溶剂)是不适合的。
下面是研究并鉴定其它物质如其它低粘度,自由-流动的硅氧烷用作亲脂性流体的方法。该方法使用市场上购自Crisco的低芥酸菜子油,油酸(95%纯度,购自Sigma Aldrich公司)和角鲨烯(99%纯度,购自J.T.Baker)作为皮脂的模拟污垢。在评价过程中,该试验物质基本上不含水,并不含任何的添加剂或其它物质。
制备三个管瓶。在第一个管瓶中放置1.0g低芥酸菜子油;在第二个管瓶中放置1.0g(95%)油酸,在第三个即最后的管瓶中放置1.0g角鲨烯(99.9%纯度)。向每个管瓶中加入1g检验其亲脂性的流体。在室温和压力下,在最大设置的标准旋涡混合器上分别混合每个包含亲油污垢和将被检验的流体的管瓶20秒。将小瓶放在工作台上让其在室温和大气压下静止15分钟。如果经过静置,在所有包含亲脂性污垢的管瓶中形成一个单一相,则该流体被鉴定为适于用作依照本发明的“亲脂性流体”。然而,如果在所有三个管瓶中形成两个或多个分离的层,则在否决或承认该流体适于用作“亲脂性流体”之前,需进一步确定在油相中溶解的流体量。
在这种情况下,用注射器小心地从每个管瓶的每个层吸取200微升的样品。将注射器吸取的样品置于GC自动取样器管瓶中,并在确定三个模拟污垢和被检验流体的各校准样品的保留时间后,进行常规的GC分析。如果依据GC分析,发现在由油酸、低芥酸菜子油或角鲨烯层组成的层的任何一个层中存在超过1%、优选更多的被检验流体,则该检验流体同样适于用作亲脂性流体。如果需要,利用二十七氟代三丁基胺即FluorinertFC-43(不合格)和环戊硅氧烷(通过)可进一步校准该方法。
适合的GC是惠普HP5890系列II型气相色谱仪,它备有分流/无分流注射器和火焰电离检测器(FID)。用于确定亲脂性流体存在量的合适的柱是J&W Scientific的DB-1HT型毛细管柱,该毛细管30米长,直径(id)0.25mm,膜厚0.1μm,目录号#1221131。该GC适合的操作条件如下:

适于此处使用的优选的亲脂性流体,可在具有极好衣服护理成型性能(garment care profile)的基础上进一步鉴定其应用。衣服护理成型性能试验在本领域是众所周知的,它包括试验流体用于大范围的衣服或纺织品成分是否合格,纺织品成分包括织物、线和用作缝合线的弹性线等及纽扣类。优选的此处使用的亲脂性流体具有极好的衣服护理成型性能,例如它们具有良好的收缩或织物起褶成型性能(puckering profile),并且一点不损坏塑料钮扣。
为了衣服护理试验和其他鉴定如可燃性鉴定的目的,在亲脂性流体中使用的亲脂性流体可以混合物如与水的混合物的形式,以大约在最终亲脂性流体中使用的比率存在,所述最终亲脂性流体将用于接触纺织品。某些有资格用作亲脂性流体的去除皮脂的物质,例如乳酸乙酯,由于有溶解钮扣的倾向可能是完全不该采用的,并且如果在亲脂性流体中使用这种物质,应将其与水和/或其它溶剂一起配制,使得整个混合物基本上不损坏钮扣。其它的亲脂性流体例如D5很好地满足衣服护理需要。一些合适的亲脂性流体可在已批准的美国专利号5,865,852;5,942,007;6,042,617;6,042,618;6,056,789;6,059,845;和6,063,135中查到,这些专利全文引入本文作为参考。
亲脂性溶剂可包括线性和环状的聚硅氧烷、烃和氯化烃。更优选线性和环状的聚硅氧烷和乙二醇醚、乙酸酯、乳酸酯族的烃类。优选的亲脂性溶剂包括环状的硅氧烷,它们在760毫米汞柱时的沸点低于约250℃。特别优选用于本发明的环状硅氧烷是八甲基环四硅氧烷、十甲基环戊硅氧烷和十二甲基环己硅氧烷。优选地,环状硅氧烷包含十甲基环戊硅氧烷(D5,五聚物)及基本不含八甲基环四硅氧烷(四聚物)和十二甲基环己硅氧烷(六聚物)。
然而,应该理解这种有用的环状硅氧烷混合物除了优选的环状硅氧烷外,还可能包含少量其他环状硅氧烷,其他环状硅氧烷包括八甲基环四硅氧烷和六甲基环三硅氧烷或更高级的环状化合物如十四甲基环七硅氧烷。通常,在有用的环状硅氧烷混合物中,以混合物总重量为基础,这些其他环状硅氧烷的量小于约10%。环状硅氧烷混合物的工业标准是这类混合物包含的八甲基环四硅氧烷少于混合物重量的约1%。
因此,本发明亲脂性流体优选包含大于亲脂性流体重量的约50%、更优选大于约75%、甚至更优选至少约90%、最优选至少约95%的十甲基环戊硅氧烷。备选地,该亲脂性流体可为包含环状硅氧烷的混合物的硅氧烷,该混合物具有大于约50%、优选大于约75%、更优选至少约90%、最优选至少约95%直至约100%混合物重量的十甲基环戊硅氧烷和小于约10%、优选小于约5%、更优选小于约2%、甚至更优选小于约1%、最优选小于约0.5%至约0%混合物重量的八甲基环四硅氧烷和/或十二甲基环己硅氧烷。
香料
本发明的织物护理组合物可包含香料,以令人愉快的气味的方式来提供“香味信号”,这赋予被洗涤的织物以清洁和/或气味清新的印象。任何类型的香料可结合于本发明的组合物中。这类香料试剂的非限制实例包括芳香族和脂肪族酯,脂肪族和芳香族醇,脂肪族酮,芳香族酮,脂肪族内酯,脂肪族醛,芳香族醛,醛和胺的缩合产物,饱和的醇,饱和的酯,饱和的芳香酮,饱和的内酯,饱和的腈,饱和的醚,饱和的缩醛,饱和的酚,饱和的烃,芳香族硝基麝香,和它们的混合物,这些更全面地描述在美国专利号5,939,060和加拿大专利号1,325,601中。美国专利号5,744,435和5,721,202中描述了其它香料试剂,所有的所述专利引入本文作为参考。
可以理解本发明涉及基于溶剂的组合物和/或基本上无水的洗衣清洗方法和/或装置。在这些无水介质中香料的行为不同于在含水的传统洗涤条件中的香料行为。如同美国专利号5,780,404所教导的,在传统的使用水的洗衣清洗过程中,不优选具有高亲水性的香料成分,因为它们不是织物牢固的,并且随漂洗水流走,所述专利引入本文作为参考。组合物中的该溶剂具有保留所有香料成分的倾向,并防止香料沉积到织物上。因此,选择在织物上可有效提供最佳残余香味优点的香料成分是必要的。这是优选的,即至少约25%,优选至少约40%,更优选至少约60%,甚至更优选至少约75%重量香料由那些“持久”香料成分组成,所述持久香料成分选自干燥后可观地保留在织物上的“持久”香料成分和具有低气味检测阈的香料成分和它们的混合物。
a.耐久香料成分
耐久香料成分的特征在于它们的沸点(B.P.)。在标准状态下,760毫米汞柱的标准压力下,本发明的耐久香料成分具有约240℃的沸点,优选约250℃或更高的沸点。
在如由作者Steffen Arctander 1969年出版的“Perfume and FlavorChemicals(Aroma Chemicals)”中提供了很多香料成分的沸点,该出版物引入本文作为参考。可从不同的化学手册和数据库,例如Beilstein手册,Lange’s化学手册和CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics中获得其它沸点值。当仅在不同的压力,通常比760毫米汞柱的标准压力低的压力下提供沸点时,例如那些在A.J.Gordon和R.A.Ford著“The Chemist’sCompanion”,John Wiley&Sons,1972年,30-36页中提供的沸点,可通过利用沸点-压力列线图近似地估计标准压力下的沸点。也可通过引入本文作为参考的“Development of a Quantitative Structure-Property RelationshipModel for Estimating Normal Boiling Points of Small Multifunctional OrganicMolecules”,David T.Stanton,Journal of Chemical Information and ComputerScience,卷.40,No.1,2000,81-90页中描述的计算机程序计算沸点值。因此,当由耐久香料成分组成的香料组合物具有约250℃或更高的沸点时,在干燥步骤后,它们牢固保留在织物上。

在本发明中使用的优选的香料组合物包含至少4种不同的耐久香料成分,优选至少5种耐久香料成分,更优选至少6种不同的耐久香料成分,甚至更优选至少7种不同的耐久香料成分。衍生自天然来源的最普通的香料成分由许多成分组成。当将每种此类物质用于配制本发明的优选的香料组合物时,为了定义本发明,将它算作一种单一的成分。

b.低气味检测阈香料成分

由于存在高含量的溶剂和相对低的香料对织物的传递,当前发明的织物护理组合物可包含相对高含量的香料,按洗涤剂组合物重量计算,典型地约0.01%-约5%,优选约0.1%-约4%,更优选约0.3%-约3%,甚至更优选约0.4%-约2%。
本发明还涉及非含水的清洗方法,其包含一种“最终”处理,以提供织物清新的好处。特别适于该方法的按照本发明的织物护理组合物优选包含亲脂性流体和香料组合物,所述香料组合物优选包含选自耐久香料成分,低气味检测阈香料成分和它们的混合物的持久香料成分。按香料组合物的组合物重量计算,香料在织物护理组合物中的含量典型为约0.0001%-约0.2%,优选约0.0002%-约0.1%,更优选约0.003%-约0.08%,最优选约0.005%-约0.05%。

本发明的织物护理组合物还包含一种香料传递体系,其包含一种或多种前体芳香物,前体香料和前体谐香剂,和它们的混合物,在下文中全部表示为“前体芳香物”。依据选择的前体芳香物,本发明的前体芳香物可显示不同的释放速率。另外,本发明的前体芳香物可与香原料混合,所述香原料从中释放出来以赋予使用者最初的芳香,香味,谐香或花香。

酯和聚酯—本发明的酯和聚酯前体芳香物能释放一种或多种香原料醇。优选的酯具有下面的化学式:

乳化剂
在化学领域,乳化剂是众所周知的。在本质上,乳化剂将两种或多种不溶或半溶相结合在一起以建立一种稳定的或半稳定的乳状液。在要求的本发明中优选该乳化剂具有双重用途,即它不仅能作为乳化剂起作用,还能作为处理性能促进剂起作用。例如,该乳化剂还可作为一种表面活性剂,从而提高清洗性能。普通乳化剂和乳化剂/表面活性剂均可在市场上购买。
添加剂成分
添加剂材料可以广泛地变更,并可以有广泛的使用水平范围。如清洁酶如蛋白酶、淀粉酶、纤维素酶、脂肪酶等;以及漂白催化剂,包括具有锰和类似过渡金属的大环类型的催化剂,全部都可以在这里使用的洗熨洗涤产品中应用,其使用水平可以是非常低、或低于一般、或较高的水平。催化作用的添加剂材料如酶,可以以“向前”或“逆转”的模式使用,这是有用于本发明具体用途的独立发现。例如,使用脂解酶或其他水解酶时,可任选醇作为添加剂存在,将脂肪酸转变为酯,由此增加它们在亲脂性流体中的溶解度。这是一种“逆转”操作,与正规在水中使用这种水解酶将较少水-溶的脂肪酸酯类转变为更加水-溶的材料相反。在任何情况下,所有添加剂成分必须适于与亲脂性流体结合使用。

a)壬基酚和十四烷醇与聚环氧乙烷的缩合物,如Kasprzak的美国专利4685930中所述;及

聚环氧烷基团(R1)的分子量小于或等于大约10,000。优选聚环氧烷基团分子量小于或等于大约8,000,及最优选在大约300-大约5,000的范围。因此数值c和d可以是提供分子量在此范围的那些数值。然而聚醚链(R1)中亚乙基氧的单元数(-C2H4O)必须足以使得聚环氧烷聚硅氧烷能在水中分散或在水中溶解。如果在聚环氧烷链中存在1,2-亚丙基氧基团,它们在链中可以是无规分布或以嵌段存在。优选的Silwet表面活性剂是L-7600、L-7602、L-7604、L-7605、L-7657、及它们的混合物。除了表面活性外,聚环氧烷聚硅氧烷表面活性剂还给织物提供其它益处,如抗静电性和柔软性。
聚环氧烷聚硅氧烷的制备是本领域熟知的。本发明聚环氧烷聚硅氧烷可根据美国专利3,299,112中阐明的程序来制备,该专利作为参考并入本文。
另一种适合的硅氧烷表面活性剂是SF-1488,它是可从GE硅氧烷流体得到的。
这些以及适合作为添加剂与亲脂性流体结合使用的其它表面活性剂是本领域熟知的,并在Kirk Othmer’s Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology,第三版22卷360-379页的“Surfactants and Detersive Systems”中有更详细的说明,该书全文结合入本文作为本文的一部分。此外,在1975年12月30日公开的Laughlin等人的美国专利3,929,678的第13栏14行-16栏6行中,一般性地公开了适合的非离子型洗涤剂表面活性剂,其结合在此作为本文的一部分。
上述添加剂也可以是抗静电剂。任何适合用于洗熨和干洗领域的熟知的抗静电剂都适合用于本方法和本发明组合物。特别适合的抗静电剂是已知提供抗静电优势的织物软化剂的子集(subset)。例如那些具有碘值在20以上的脂肪酰基织物软化剂,如N,N-二(牛脂酰基-氧-乙基)-N,N-二甲基硫酸铵单甲酯。然而可以理解术语抗静电剂不仅仅限于此织物软化剂的子集,而是应包括全部抗静电剂。
着色剂
此处使用的“着色剂”是为了赋予在自动亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷)洗衣过程中使用的组合物以颜色而单独加入的任何物质(包括染料和颜料),所述组合物包括亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷溶剂)洗涤介质组合物,而对在自动亲脂性流体洗衣过程期间和亲脂性流体洗涤介质接触的所有织物而言是安全的。着色剂对本发明组合物的安全性和作用可通过在自动亲脂性流体洗衣过程中用潜在的着色剂接触白色织物来确定,导致对白色织物产生几乎没有或观察不到的色彩的着色剂是在此处安全使用的着色剂,如同通过下面试验所确定的:
·各种织物内容的白色织物样品(每种3个)用作检测染料从着色剂转移的示踪物;
·测量每种织物样品以确定Hunter洁白刻度的基线值;
·利用产生C/2°光源的精密分光光度计进行测量;
·将数值记录为Lh,ah,和bh;
·随后在存在潜在的着色剂的条件下,将样品洗涤并干燥;
·在预定循环的结尾进行样品示踪物的分光光度测量;
·计算最初和最后循环之间的差异,并记录为ΔE值:

公认的,着色剂不包括那些不是为了赋予这类组合物或洗涤方法以色彩的目的而加入的那些活性成分。例如,由于存在一些低含量的杂质而使表而活性剂典型地被轻微着色;光漂白剂一般赋予溶液蓝色;增白剂也可提供某些色彩。因此,当本发明的组合物和方法典型地包括这类活性成分时,按照本发明的着色剂与它们一起加入,典型地掩饰或弥补由这类活性成分产生的任何色彩。
而着色剂通常是众所周知的,选择它们在本发明方法和组合物中使用,尤其是在硅氧烷溶剂体系中使用,需要仔细考虑洗涤方法的条件和可能与着色剂接触的典型的织物范围,以及使用着色剂的目的。特别是,在组合物中使用的着色剂一般存在于组合物中,以赋予该组合物理想的美学效果,所述组合物在洗涤过程中加入到亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷溶剂)中。一般加入这类组合物以将清洁剂(如表面活性剂,聚合物,酶,漂白剂)和/或织物处理剂(如柔软剂,抗静电剂,增白剂)传递给洗涤过程。这类着色剂因此提供了令消费者更加满意的组合物,如蓝色液体洗衣洗涤剂或染上绿色斑点的洗衣粉末。
这类着色剂不仅在这类组合物中必须是稳定的,并且与要和其它着色剂相接触的添加剂成分是相容的,而且必须不从洗涤介质沉积到和洗涤介质接触的织物上(即通过上文提供的试验定义的那样,它们必须是安全的)。在这类组合物中使用的着色剂可被用于该方法的自动洗衣机的亲脂性流体(尤其是硅氧烷溶剂)回收体系除去(如通过过滤和/或蒸馏),和/或该着色剂与用于染色在本方法中使用的亲脂性流体体系的任何一种着色剂体系相容,和/或该着色剂易于被在洗涤过程中利用的其它条件破坏(完全或至少很大部分),这也是非常理想的。可通过任何方式,包括但不局限于以化学方式(如氧化和/或还原反应),机械方式(如超声),电方式,和/或热降解方式破坏着色剂。这包括,例如通过利用体系中的臭氧或在加热步骤如干燥织物过程中来破坏着色剂。当选择着色剂时需要考虑的另一个事项是与提供一些颜色的其它添加剂活性成分的颜色兼容性。
着色剂作为适于亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷)洗涤溶液的色料的应用具有与对上述在加到体系中的组合物中使用的着色剂相似的要求—它们在洗涤过程中必须是至少部分稳定的(直至在至少部分洗涤过程中,提供洗涤介质的理想的色彩的程度),以及还必须不从洗涤介质中沉积到与洗涤介质接触的织物上(即通过本文前面提供的试验,确定它们必须是安全的)。这类着色剂在自动机器使用的再循环和再回收过程中稳定是理想的,但如果加到含有每种洗衣物的洗涤介质中的组合物包含一定含量的着色剂,所述含量足以提供洗涤介质的理想的颜色,或通过一些其它补充方法来补充,则这就是不必要的。
设计染色体系使得用于染色亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷溶剂)的着色剂和配制到组合物中的着色剂与每种洗衣物品共同加入也是可能的。例如,可配制来自添加的组合物的着色剂以与用于染色亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷溶剂)体系的着色剂相匹配,其能理想地补充由先前的洗涤周期导致的部分损耗的染色亲脂性流体着色剂。设计一种染色体系使得与组合物一同添加的着色剂改变亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷)洗涤介质的染色,但在洗涤过程中相同的阶段被随后去除也是可能的(如当处于臭氧处理步骤时,硅氧烷色调经历一种颜色改变;当溶剂回收过程完成时,该溶剂变回最初的颜色)。
而且,利用染色体系使得着色剂选择性溶于亲脂性流体和/或选择性溶于水是可能的,这对于当使用含水乳状液(如硅氧烷乳状液)作为洗涤介质时是理想的。这对于易于检测乳状液的状态,包括当打破该乳状液时,观察水和亲脂性流体相的能力可能是有用的。
起泡剂
由于亲脂性流体(尤其是硅氧烷)洗涤方法和清洗体系不能自然起泡,为满足消费者的需求,需要选择体系和/或特别加入的成分以产生气泡。此处使用的“起泡剂”指的是任何当包含于亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷)洗涤介质中时,在自动洗衣机运转过程中产生明显的气泡作用的化合物和/或化合物的混合物。因此起泡剂还包括作为顽固泡沫或泡沫助促进剂的物质,以及选择具有气泡特性的表面活性剂和/或乳化剂。通常泡沫的性质是众所周知的,已描述在如Lai和Dixit著的“Additives for Foams”,Foams,Theory,Measurements,and Applications(Marcel Dekker,inc.,N.Y.1996年出版;Prud’homme和Khan编辑,315页)中。
特别是,既可通过加入含一种或多种起泡剂的组合物,所述组合物被典型地加入以将清洗剂(如表面活性剂,聚合物,酶,漂白剂)和/或织物处理剂(如柔软剂,抗静电剂,增白剂)传递给洗涤过程来将起泡剂加入到亲脂性流体洗涤过程,也可通过加入单独的起泡剂组合物(类似于在自动分离洗衣机中单独加入“漂洗助剂”)将起泡剂加入到亲脂性流体洗涤过程。这类起泡剂不仅在这类组合物中必须是稳定的,并且与要接触的其它添加剂成分相容,而且如果其从洗涤介质沉积到与洗涤介质接触的织物上,不会对织物产生负面影响。
该起泡剂可被用于该方法的自动洗衣机的亲脂性流体(尤其是硅氧烷溶剂)回收体系除去(如通过过滤和/或蒸馏),和/或该起泡剂易于被在洗涤过程中利用的其它条件破坏(完全或至少很大部分)也是非常理想的。可通过任何方式,包括但不局限于以化学方式(如氧化和/或还原反应),机械方式(如超声),电方式,和/或热降解方式破坏起泡剂。这包括,例如通过利用体系中的臭氧或在加热步骤如干燥织物过程中来破坏起泡剂。备选地,如果在回收亲脂性流体后再利用起泡剂,这类起泡剂在自动洗衣机的再循环和再回收过程中稳定存在是理想的。如果与每种洗衣物一起加入到洗涤介质中的该组合物包含一定含量的起泡剂,该含量足以补充在前个洗涤周期中损失的起泡剂,则不需要完全稳定性。
也必须进行仔细的考虑以避免对洗衣机的运转产生负面影响,或使亲脂性流体(如硅氧烷溶剂)的再循环或再回收变得容易,从而设计正确的起泡性能以满足消费者的需要。因此考虑洗衣机的类型和利用的方法以确定起泡剂在洗涤介质中的含量是必要的。例如,使用较低浓度的起泡剂,利用喷雾器将洗涤介质分散到织物上的方法似乎比仅利用滚筒搅拌洗涤介质的浸渍浴方法产生更多的泡沫。本领域的技术人员可容易地选择使这种起泡性能与使用的洗衣机和方法相匹配所需要的含量。
最后,含起泡剂的组合物可包含添加的水,该组合物与亲脂性流体不混溶或易混溶(如作为一种乳状液)。典型地,以至少约0.1%(或至少约0.5%,或至少约1%)的起泡剂的含量将水加入到含亲脂性流体的洗涤介质(如硅氧烷洗涤介质)中。
方法
关于本发明的方法,将含硅氧烷的洗涤介质与纺织品相接触的方法可以是任何一种方法,其与点状润湿和/或手工润湿纺织品相反,通过自动洗衣机,以洗涤量完全润湿纺织品。这包括在洗涤介质的浸渍浴中接触纺织品,或优选按照小体积润湿方法如喷涂,使用尽可能较小体积的洗涤介质以均匀润湿纺织品。最优选的是用一种方法接触纺织品,所述方法包含至少一个非浸渍步骤,从而用洗涤介质以洗涤量润湿(优选通过均匀的喷涂)纺织品,所述洗涤介质例如仅为少于约200%(或少于约150%)重量的纺织品。
本发明的一个方面涉及用洗涤介质接触纺织品,所述洗涤介质包含少于约50%水,更优选少于约30%,少于约20%,少于约10%,少于约5%,少于约1%,最优选不含有目的地加入的水。然而,在本发明的另一个方面,一些有目的地加入的水是含有硅氧烷的洗涤介质的一部分,该洗涤介质包括例如或者与硅氧烷不混溶或者作为一种含硅氧烷、水和乳化剂的乳状液。优选水的含量为约0.1%-约50%,更优选约0.1%-约30%,约0.1%-约20%,约0.1%-约10%,约0.1%-约5%,约0.1%-约1%。
明显地,本发明的方法不能使用为水洗方法开发的当前通用的自动洗衣机。而用于本方法的自动洗衣机可连接一个水源,为了实施通用的方法,这个连接只是为了供应任选有目的地加入的水。提供硅氧烷是必需的,优选将硅氧烷存储于在通用方法中使用的容器中,并且在自动家庭洗衣过程中,硅氧烷接触纺织品后返回(适当的清洗过程之后)到该容器中。
尽管具有所定义的适于非浸渍商业干洗方法的各种组分的装置(所述方法例如描述在2000年5月9日公布的美国专利6,059,845和2000年5月16日公布的美国专利6,063,135中所描述(两篇专利均全文引入本文作为参考)),如果加以改良以适于居住大小和消费者维护,该装置可用于实施本发明的方法,但对于本发明的非浸渍方法来说并不是优选的。原因包括与在家庭供应、储存和清洗大体积的硅氧烷有关的一些制约(相对于在这些专利中教导的商业干洗机的尺寸和操作而言)。
由于这些原因,高度优选较小体积方法如上文描述的那些利用均匀喷涂方法的方法,所述均匀喷涂方法利用较小体积的洗涤介质即可完全润湿纺织品。例如可考虑对传统的低水位洗涤器具进行改良以传递低含量的含硅氧烷的洗涤介质而不是含水的洗涤介质;这类传统的水洗涤器具在例如美国专利4,489,574;4,489,455;5,191,669;5,191,668;5,233,718;和5,671,494中进行描述,所有这些均全文引入本文作为参考。具有这种低体积方法用途的最优选的自动洗衣机在共同提交的、共同待决的专利申请宝洁公司案例8119P中详细地进行了描述,该专利申请全文引入本文作为参考。进一步优选的是这类自动洗衣机,即通过随机翻转后,间歇性的旋转和喷涂,直至已喷涂所有的洗涤介质,可保证用含硅氧烷的洗涤介质均匀地覆盖纺织品。还优选这类洗衣机,它通过紧接地再利用/再循环步骤,例如通过在将洗涤介质从纺织品中提取出来以后,将其通过颗粒去除过滤器,然后立即将其再喷涂到纺织品上而再利用该含硅氧烷的洗涤介质。
还优选适于实施本发明方法的自动洗衣机是为了在同一个装置内还可干燥纺织品而设计的自动洗衣机。这不仅赋予消费者不用处理湿纺织品的便利,还能够为了再利用或清洗而回收所有的硅氧烷。
还可想象按照消费者的愿望,适于清洗和/或处理纺织品的添加剂也可加入到该方法中。因此,自动洗衣机优选包括贮器来在理想的时间将这类添加剂,与洗涤介质一同或分开,接受和/或分配到自动洗衣过程中。包含这类添加剂的机筒(通过再充填或与添加剂一起购买),其可拆卸地安装到机器上,也是任选的实施方式。特别优选的添加剂是在当前自动家庭洗衣过程中,当与含硅氧烷的洗涤介质结合时,可充当一种抗静电剂的任何物质。
该自动洗衣机的另一个优选的特征是能够有多于一个自动洗衣步骤来净化和再利用硅氧烷。净化硅氧烷以多次使用的优选的工具是可替换的过滤器。这种过滤器应当优选包括过滤物质,其能去除并收集至少身体污垢,所述身体污垢是在自动家庭洗衣过程中从纺织品上去除的。活性炭、硅石、分子筛和/或疏水改性纸正好是这类过滤器的一些任选组分。优选用装置固定到自动洗衣机上,使得消费者每隔一定间隔可容易地替换它。
虽然已描述了本发明的具体实施方案,但对那些本领域的技术人员来说,明显地,在未脱离本发明的精神和范围条件下,可对本发明进行各种改变和修改。在后附的权利要求中,意图包含在本发明范围内的所有这类修改。
Claims (40)
1.一种织物护理组合物,其包含:
a)所述组合物重量的至少50%的一种亲脂性流体,选自全氟化胺,C6或更高级二醇,有机硅氧烷,多元醇酯,和它们的混合物;和
b)一种香料组合物;
其中所述组合物包含少于所述组合物重量的30%的水。
