Abstract

一种组合式滚轧机,在选定的滚轧单位之间安装齿轮机构以代替从轧制线上移开的其它滚轧单位,由此提供一在滚轧序列中的间隙。各齿轮机构与先前与移开的滚轧单位连接的驱动单位连接,并被设置成能提供滚轧传动链的连续性和使下一序列滚轧单位以移开的滚轧单位的速度进行操作。该齿轮机构带有水箱或其它类似的冷却装置,以便降低在连续的轧辊型缝之间的产品的温度。

Description

组合式滚轧机
本发明涉及滚轧诸如杆、条之类细长产品的单股组合式滚轧机。
首先参看图1,它显示了普通转让的美国专利第5,595,083号公开的那种类型的组合式滚轧机,该滚轧机包括至少3个(图中画了5个)顺序安装在轧制线PL上的滚轧单位RU1-RU5。各滚轧单位具有多对工作辊10a和10b。这些工作辊可按一定的尺寸制造并设置凹槽,以提供传统的椭圆形轧道顺序,而相邻的辊对互相偏置90度,以便使沿轧制线方向前进的产品实现无扭转的滚轧顺序。
除了工作辊的尺寸和/或凹槽结构,工作辊是相同的,且在轧制线的任何位置上是可互换的。参看图2,它是一传统的滚轧单位内部驱动部件的示意图,可以看到,工作辊10a以悬臂方式安装在由轴承14可转动地支承的辊轴12的一端。辊轴上的齿轮16与两互相啮合的中间驱动齿轮18啮合,而后者安装在由轴承22可转动地支承的中间驱动轴20上。工作辊10b安装在由用相同标号表示的、以镜面对称方式布置的零件上,并由这些零件驱动。各对中间驱动轴20中的一根驱动轴20上还另外安装一锥齿轮24,它与在一输入轴28上的锥齿轮26啮合。输入轴28从滚轧单位的“驱动侧”突出并终止于半个法兰接头30a。
两根输入轴上还另外安装有齿轮32,它们与大直径中间齿轮34啮合。由此可见,各滚轧单位上的工作辊对10a和10b由于输入轴28上的齿轮32和中间齿轮34之间的互相啮合而在机械上互相连接。
再看图1,可以看到驱动单位DU1-DU4依序安装在轧制线PL的一侧。各驱动单位包括一由电动机38驱动的齿轮箱36。齿轮箱具有与输出轴40连接的齿轮,而输出轴终止于半个法兰接头30b。可以看到滚轧单位输入轴28上的半个法兰接头30a可与齿轮箱36输出轴40上的半个法兰接头30b配合固定,从而提供可容易分离的驱动连接,由此实现滚轧单位和驱动单位之间的非常容易的啮合和分离。各滚轧单位RU2、RU3和RU4上的(即除了第一和最后一个滚轧单位之外的)所有输入轴28与两个连续的驱动单位DU1-DU4上的输出轴40连接。而第一和最后一个滚轧单位RU1和RU5分别和唯一地与第一和最后一个驱动单位DU1和DU5连接。
由此可见,驱动单位DU1-DU4通过滚轧单位RU1-RU5的内部驱动部件而互相连接,从而提供一个自组合式滚轧机的一端至另一端的连续的传动链。由于这种布置,当一产品的前端进入各连续的轧辊型缝时,由此产生的瞬间速度降低将传送给所有的滚轧单位,从而使它可能以自动调节方式且不需要另外的控制就能维持基本稳定的轧架之间的产品张力。这种连续的传动链如图3所示的那样,以逐步增加的速度驱动连续的工作辊对。
上述类型的组合式滚轧机广泛地用来滚轧低碳、中碳、高碳和低合金钢产品,积聚在辊对之间的热量是相对适度的。例如,当以100米/秒的传送速度将16.8毫米的中间(半成品)轧材轧制成5.5毫米的杆时,积聚在组合式滚轧机的第一和最后辊对之间的热量约在100至150℃的范围内。然而,许多特殊产品、如镍基合金、高速钢、耐高热镍基合金(waspalloys)等不能承受这种温度增加。由于在滚轧单位之间没有足够的空间进行充分的水冷却,因此直到现在只有用水箱代替选定的滚轧单位这样一种选择。虽然它增加了冷却效果,但这是通过牺牲传动链的连续性得到的。
另一种选择是降低滚轧机的滚轧速度,以便降低积聚在被轧制的产品里的能量。但这种方法并不理想,因为它使滚轧机的产量降低。较低温度的热机滚轧也较难以实现,因为它不能在连续的滚轧单位之间进行足够的冷却。
本发明的一个目的是在组合式滚轧机的轧道顺序中提供一间隙,以便进行额外的冷却而又不影响传动链的连续性。
按照本发明,在选定的滚轧单位之间安装齿轮机构以代替“被空置的”、即从轧制线上移开的其它滚轧单位,从而在轧道顺序中提供一间隙。各齿轮机构与先前与各空置的滚轧单位连接的驱动单位连接,并被布置成能提供滚轧传动链的连续性和使下一顺序的滚轧单位以各空置的滚轧单位的速度进行操作。该齿轮机构带有水箱或其它类似的冷却装置,以便用来降低在连续的轧辊型缝之间的产品的温度。
本发明的这些和其它的目的将结合附图作更详细的介绍。
图1是已知的组合式滚轧机的平面图;
图2是传统的滚轧机内部驱动部件的示意图;
图3是显示图1所示的组合式滚轧机中的连续辊对之间的速度关系的图表;
图4是类似于图1的视图,它显示了按照本发明的、具有在选定的滚轧单位之间的齿轮机构的组合式滚轧机;

图6是显示图4所示的组合式滚轧机中的连续辊对之间的速度关系的图表。
如图4-6所示,按照本发明,齿轮机构GU1和GU2代替空置的滚轧单位RU2和RU4而安装在轧制线PL上,而滚轧单位RU2和RU4自轧制线PL横向移动到滚轧机的“工作侧”。如图5所示,各齿轮机构包括由轴承44可转动地支承的输入轴42。而输入轴42上安装着齿轮46,该齿轮与安装在中间轴50上的中心齿轮48啮合,而中间轴50则由轴承52可转动地支承。输入轴具有突出端,其上安装着半个法兰接头30c。
半个法兰接头30c可与先前安装在空置的滚轧单位上的驱动单位的半个法兰接头30b配对固定。齿轮机构上的齿轮传动链46、48和46代替空置的滚轧单位的齿轮传动链,从而在不影响滚轧机的整个传动链的情况下在轧道顺序中形成间隙。
各齿轮机构的齿轮传动链被设计成能适应下一顺序滚轧单位以空置的滚轧单位的速度进行的操作。这样,从图3和图6的比较中可看到,通过用齿轮机构GU1代替滚轧单位RU2并适当调整电动机38的速度,滚轧单位RU3可以空置的滚轧单位RU2的速度进行操作。同样的,使用齿轮机构GU2可使滚轧单位RU5以空置的滚轧单位RU4的速度进行操作。
如图4所示,较佳的是在齿轮机构GU1和GU2上设置喷水嘴54和相关的平衡导管56,以便用来冷却产品。由此在连续的滚轧单位之间发生的温度降低可使上面提到的许多特殊产品以比图1所示的滚轧机的连续的轧道顺序可能有的速度更高的速度被滚轧。这种效果是在不影响滚轧传动链的连续性的情况下获得的。

Claims (2)

1.一种组合式滚轧机,包括至少3个依序安装在一轧制线上的滚轧单位,所述各滚轧单位具有依序安装、以便对沿轧制线方向前进的产品提供滚轧序列的工作辊对;依序安装在所述轧制线一侧的若干驱动单位;通过除第一和最后一个外的所有滚轧单位与两个连续的驱动单位连接、以及使所述第一和最后一个滚轧单位与所述驱动单位中的第一和最后一个驱动单位连接而提供一连续的传动链的连接装置,所述传动链以逐步增加的速度驱动顺序安装的工作辊对;其特征在于,还包括一在所述滚轧序列中提供一间隙且不影响所述传动链的连续性的设备,所述设备包括能安装在所述两滚轧单位之间的、即通过从所述轧制线上移开另一所述滚轧单位而形成的空间里的齿轮机构,所述齿轮机构与先前与移开的滚轧单位连接的驱动单位连接并使下一序列的滚轧单位以所述移开的滚轧单位的速度进行操作。
2.如权利要求1所述的组合式滚轧机,其特征在于,所述齿轮机构还包括用来冷却所述产品的装置。
