Description

含有茴香醚的油包水乳状液
本发明涉及对含有苄醇的油包水乳状液构成的脱漆剂配料的脱漆速率的改进,这种改进是由于其油相内加入了有效量的茴香醚。
本发明所涉及的苄醇基油包水乳状液在美国专利No.5,542,986(本文中称为′986专利)和待审美国专利申请No.08/706,850及08/707,261(本文中称为′850和′261申请)中已揭示,这些专利申请的全部说明书在此引用作为参考。特别好的是′850和′261申请中的含蜡的油包水乳状液。
对包含具有水相和苄醇连续相(油相)的油包水乳状液的脱漆剂配料,所提供的改进包括将有效量的茴香醚加入苄醇相中从而改进了脱漆速率。较好的实施例包括将氨掺入至乳状液的水相中的碱性脱漆剂和将甲酸苄酯掺入至乳状液的苄醇相中的酸性脱漆剂。其它较好的实施例包括掺入如苎烯之类的萜烯以延缓水分蒸发的速率和/或在含有氨的脱漆剂中掺入吡咯以进一步提高脱漆速率。
已发现将茴香醚掺入至油包水乳浊液的有机苄醇相中可提高脱漆速率。′850和′261申请中的含蜡的油包水乳状液在脱漆方面尤其显示其优越性,这是因为该乳状液除了其它特点之外,还减少了气味,而蜡(天然的或合成的)通过延缓能加强脱漆作用的水和其它挥发性组分的蒸发而提高了脱漆效率。当存在蜡时,通常使用的量是稍微比使有机相饱和的量多一些(1%重量)。较好的蜡是石蜡(该名称包括它的各个组分)。也可使用石蜡或矿物油,植物蜡,微晶蜡,地蜡和褐轧蜡。
茴香醚一般用量为乳状液总重量的1.0-24.0%,较好的约为2-16%,取决于被脱漆的基质、脱漆剂配料中溶剂(以及蜡,如果有的话)的量等等。这里的上限是一个实用上限,因为增加茴香醚,对脱漆速率的影响很小,而在较低用量时则溶解性可能丧失。
也可与茴香醚一起加入一种或多种萜烯,因为萜烯的存在可以减少水和其它溶剂从逆乳状液脱漆剂中蒸发,从而使这些脱漆剂的使用寿命可以延长至24小时或更长。当使用这种组合时,茴香醚的用量最好是约8-16%(重量),而萜烯的用量最好是约4-8%。萜烯的例子为d-苎烯(较好),双戊烯(也称为1-甲基-4-(1-甲基乙烯基)-环己烯),月桂烯,α-蒎烯,里哪醇及其混合物。
在碱性脱漆剂中,吡咯也可以与茴香醚一起加入以加快脱漆速率,在这情况下茴香醚与吡咯的总量约为1-24%(2-16%更好),或吡咯也可以加入至茴香醚/-萜烯组合中。当茴香醚,萜烯和吡咯都加入到含氨的脱漆剂中时,一种优化的系统通常是约含8-16%茴香醚,5-9%萜烯和0.3-8%吡咯。
较好的脱漆剂的乳状液中所加入的蜡的含量一般约为乳状液总量的0.02-5.0%(重量),更典型的约为0.1-1.0%。可以用任何类型的市售石蜡或地蜡(或它们的组分)。大多数石蜡的熔点约在47-65℃范围内。
参考′850和′261申请以及′986专利,使用这样一种乳状液的脱漆剂配料可以通过混合下列物质而制得:水;苄醇(如果需要,以及甲酸,其一部分与部分苄醇反应当场形成一些甲酸苄酯和额外的水;或者这种水,苄醇,甲酸和甲酸苄酯的平衡混合物可以以该混合物为起始材料而形成,或者在想具有过量摩尔的苄醇或甲酸时,以对应当量的甲酸苄酯和水与可任选苄醇或甲酸作为起始材料而形成);茴香醚;蜡(如果有);不超过2%重量的增稠剂(例如羟丙基纤维素或甲基纤维素);不超过约15%(重量)的烃溶剂(芳族或脂族溶剂包括石油馏出物)以有助于湿润增稠剂并溶解蜡;不超过约2%重量的表面活性剂(诸如二甲苯磺酸钠或油酸羟乙基咪唑啉之类的咪唑啉);不超过约15%重量的氨(在碱性配料中)或氢氧化钠(如果存在甲酸);不超过5%重量的腐蚀抑制剂(诸如2-巯基苯并三唑,苯并三唑或硅酸钠);如果需要,少量(通常不大于0.1-0.3克/加仑)的染料。

*羟丙基纤维素增稠剂的量在0.4和0.6之间变化以抵消由于溶剂数量变化而引起的粘度的变化
在标准性能试验中,用聚氨酯面漆系统(聚氨酯面漆涂在环氧底漆上)或聚氨酯面漆/聚氨酯底漆系统(聚氨酯面漆涂在聚氨酯底漆上)涂覆的铝制面板对这些配料进行对比脱漆试验,脱漆试验按MIL-R-81294(用于评估脱漆剂从铝板上除去白色聚氨酯漆的效率的军用规范)进行。虽然没有对环氧面漆体系(环氧面漆作在环氧底漆上)进行试验,但以前的经验表明聚氨酯面漆体系的结果类似于环氧面漆体系的结果。这些试验的结果记录在下表I中,这些数据表明每种体系在24小时内漆被清除的面板的百分数:

Claims (24)

1.一种含有水相和苄醇连续相的油包水乳状液构成的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于在苄醇相中掺入有效量的茴香醚以增加脱漆速率。
2.如权利要求1所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于其中的苄醇相包含一种蜡。
3.如权利要求2所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于其中的水相包含氨。
4.如权利要求3所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于其中的苄醇相中还掺有萜烯。
5.如权利要求4所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于所述的萜烯为d-苎烯。
6.如权利要求3所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于其中的苄醇相中还掺有吡咯。
7.如权利要求3所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于其中的苄醇相中还掺有萜烯和吡咯。
8.如权利要求7所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于其中的萜烯为d-苎烯。
9.如权利要求2所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于其中的苄醇相包含甲酸苄酯。
10.如权利要求9所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征在于其中的苄醇相中还掺有萜烯。
11.如权利要求10所述的脱漆剂配料,其特征还在于其中的萜烯为d-苎烯。
12.一种提高油包水乳状液脱漆剂的脱漆速率的方法,其特征在于它包含在该乳状液的有机相中掺入有效量的茴香醚。
13.如权利要求12所述的方法,其特征在于所述的乳状液的有机相中还掺入了蜡。
14.一种提高碱性的油包水乳状液脱漆剂的脱漆速率的方法,其特征在于它包含在该乳状液的有机相中掺入有效量的茴香醚。
15.如权利要求14所述的方法,其特征在于在所述的乳状液的有机相中还掺入了一种蜡。
16.如权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于在所述的乳状液的有机相中还掺入了一种萜烯。
17.如权利要求16所述的方法,其特征还在于所述的萜烯是d-苎烯。
18.如权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于在所述的乳状液的有机相中还掺入了吡咯。
19.如权利要求15所述的方法,其特征在于在所述的乳状液的有机相中还掺入了萜烯和吡咯。
20.如权利要求19所述的方法,其特征还在于其中的萜烯为d-苎烯。
21.一种提高酸性的油包水乳状液脱漆剂的脱漆速率的方法,其特征在于它包含在该乳状液的有机相中掺入有效量的茴香醚。
22.如权利要求2所述的方法,其特征在于在所述的乳状液的有机相中还掺入了一种蜡。
23.如权利要求22所述的方法,其特征在于在所述的乳状液的有机相中还掺入了一种萜烯。
