Abstract

一种两面光输出型背照明部件。该部件可以使用没有反射板的单一导光板产生两面光。本发明的两面光输出型背照明部件是一种在一对液晶面板上照射两面光的两面光输出型背照明部件。该部件包括:组装在模制结构内侧的产生光的荧光灯;包围荧光灯形成的由反射荧光灯产生的光的灯反射体;含有用于产生两面光的多个图案的导光板,该导光板在一对液晶面板之间与荧光灯邻接形成,并将灯反射体反射的光均匀散射在上下部;分别在各个液晶面板和导光板之间形成、将导光板散射的光均匀化的一对扩散板。

Description

液晶显示元件的两面光输出型 背照明部件
                         技术领域
本发明涉及液晶显示元件的背照明部件,更详细地说,涉及可以将入射到导光板的光同时照射到导光板的上下部液晶面板的两面光输出型背照明部件。
                         背景技术
如所周知,液晶显示元件是图像显示装置之一种,与作为其他图像显示装置的阴极射线管(CRT:Cathode Ray Tube)相比,可以轻量化、薄形化和小型化,能够实现少消耗电力。然而,液晶显示元件与CRT不同,不是自己能发射光的元件。因此,在液晶显示元件的情况下,为了在液晶面板的画面上表现出视觉的图像,在其背面必须设置光源。作为液晶显示元件的光源,采用使用荧光灯的背照明部件。
以下,记述现有的背照明部件的构成。
图1是表示现有的背照明部件的断面图,图2是表示用于现有的背照明部件的导光板的两个例子的立体图,图3是表示现有的背照明部件中导光板作用原理的图形。
参照图1至图3,现有的背照明部件具有作为将光提供给液晶面板20的光源的荧光灯2。在各荧光灯2的外侧面,形成将荧光灯2产生的光反射到特定位置的灯反射体6。在液晶面板20的背面,配置在荧光灯2之间联结的导光板4。导光板4通过使从荧光灯2产生并由灯反射体6反射的光散射均匀化,实现面光源化。
在导光板4的下部面,形成图案4a。导光板图案4a使光反射到导光板4的上侧并使其面光源化。导光板图案4a用印刷或V-cut方式形成。在导光板4的下侧,配置反射板8,在上侧配置扩散板10。
反射板8防止来自荧光灯2并通过灯反射体6入射到导光板4的光的外部泄漏,例如防止在导光板4下部光的泄漏,同时使光反射在配置了液晶面板20的导光板4的上面。导光板4上部的扩散板10,用于提高入射到液晶面板20的光的均匀度,至少由一个构成。
在扩散板10的上侧,配置用于将光通路转换90°和180°进行定向的一对下部棱镜板12和上部棱镜板14。下部棱镜板12和上部棱镜板14可以仅使用其中任意一个。
在上部棱镜板14的上面具有保护板16。保护板16保护具有三角形或半球形谷的上部棱镜板14的形状免受外部冲击,并且提高入射到液晶面板20的光的均匀度。至此已经说明的背照明部件的各构成要素,组合并保持在造型框架18中。
在上述构成的现有背照明部件中,荧光灯2产生的光由灯反射体6反射。反射的光由导光板4的图案4a进行面光源化,通过扩散板10入射到液晶面板20,形成特定图像。这时,由荧光灯2产生的光通过反射板8防止向外部的泄漏,同时入射到导光板4,由图案4a进行均匀散射。这样散射的光,由扩散板10进一步均匀化后,一边通过下部棱镜板12和上部棱镜板14,一边按一定角度转换行进通路后,边垂直入射到液晶面板20。
然而,一般的现有背照明部件的构成是在单面照射光的单面光输出形式。因而,在使用现有的背照明部件构成两面光输出型背照明部件时,重复使用导光板,将反射板配置在中间后,各个导光板必须在每一面都能进行光输出。这种现有的两面光输出型背照明部件,由于必须使用多个导光板,则增加了体积和重量,这样使其效果非常微小,与使用单面光形式相比不方便。
                         发明内容
本发明是为了解决了上述现有的技术问题而研制的,其目的是提供一种使用没有反射板的单一导光板即可产生两面光的两面光输出型背照明部件。
为了达到上述目的,本发明的两面光输出型背照明部件在对一对液晶面板照射两面光的两面光输出型背照明部件中具有:组装在模制结构内侧的产生光的荧光灯;包围荧光灯形成的反射由荧光灯产生的光的灯反射体;包括用于产生两面光的多个图案的导光板,该导光板在一对液晶面板之间与荧光灯邻接形成,并将灯反射体反射的光均匀散射在上下部;分别在各个液晶面板和导光板之间形成、将导光板散射的光均匀化的一对扩散板,上述导光板的图案是沿与上述导光板内部的光输出面平行的水平面纵横固定形成的孔型图案。
本发明的导光板的图案,最好是在导光板内部纵横固定地形成的孔型图案,孔型图案可以有圆形或多角形的形状。
孔型图案最好配置在导光板中心或偏于任何一方,并且根据与荧光灯的距离,最好形成相互之间不同的各自间隔差异或直径差异。
另外,本发明的两面光输出型背照明部件还可以具有在扩散板和液晶面板之间形成的至少一个以上的棱镜,以及在棱镜和液晶面板之间形成的保护板。

                       具体实施方式
以下,参照附图详细说明本发明理想的实施例。
图4是表示本发明实施例的两面光输出型背照明部件的断面图,图5是表示用于本发明实施例的两面光输出型背照明部件和导光板的立体图。
参照图4和图5,两面光输出型背照明部件100,为了在一对液晶面板118、128上同时照射两面光,使用一个导光板104。导光板104配置在一对液晶面板118、128之间。在导光板104的内部中央,水平方向并列设置多个图案104a,使得可在两面输出光。
在导光板104的至少一端(最好是两端),设置至少一个以上作为光源的荧光灯102。荧光灯102由灯反射体106包围。灯反射体106将荧光灯102产生的光反射到导光板104侧。
在导光板104的上部和下部,分别配置扩散板110、120。扩散板110、120提高了向液晶面板118、128入射光的均匀度,至少可以使用一个以上即一个或多个。
在扩散板110、120的上部和下部,配置将光通路转换90°和180°并进行定向的一对下部棱镜板112、122和上部棱镜板114、124。根据情况,可以仅使用下部棱镜板112、122和上部棱镜板114、124的其中之一,或者哪个也不使用。
另外,在上部棱镜板114、124的外侧分别设置保护板116、126。保护板116、126保护具有三角形或半球形谷的上部棱镜板114、124的形状免受外部冲击,同时提高了向液晶面板118、128入射光的均匀度。
综合上述,在导光板104的上部和下部,各自对称地顺序配置扩散板110、120,下部棱镜板112、122,上部棱镜板114、124以及保护板116、126。这些构成要素均安装并保持在造型框架108中。
图6是在本发明实施例的两面光输出型背照明部件中导光板的作用原理图。
参照图6,本发明背照明部件中,从荧光灯102产生的光由灯反射体106反射,入射到导光板104。入射到导光板104的光通过导光板104的图案104a均匀散射到上下部,在导光板104的上部面和下部面实现面光源化。
再参照图4,在导光板104的上下部面实现了面光源化的光,由上下部扩散板110、120进一步均匀化后,通过下部棱镜板112、122以及上部棱镜板114、124,并按一定角度转换行进通路。转换了通路的光,通过保护板116、126以后,垂直入射到上部及下部的液晶面板118、128,形成规定的图像。
图7是在本发明实施例的两面光输出型背照明部件中导光板图案的两个例子的图形。
如图7所示,导光板104的图案104a,形成孔形状,可用机械加工或激光和水压制造。导光板图案104a的孔形状可以是圆形或多角形。沿与导光板104内部的光输出面平行的水平面纵横配置的孔型图案104a,配置在导光板104的中心或偏向任何一方,其密度(即各孔间的间隔差)按照与荧光灯102或导光板104一端的距离增加或减少,并且图案104a的孔尺寸(即各孔间的直径差)也增加或减少。
这样形成孔型图案104a,可以调节背照明部件的均匀性,从而调节在上部和下部的输出光强度的差别。
如上所述,本发明的两面光输出型背照明部件,通过使用单一的导光板并在导光板内部形成孔型图案,即可在导光板上下侧实现两面光输出。因此,本发明的两面光输出型背照明部件,不仅可以非常简便地实现,而且由于不必使用现有的反射板,在经济上是有利的。另外,本发明的两面光输出型背照明部件,由于使用单一的导光板,未增加厚度,有利于薄形化。
对本发明只要不脱离其技术思想,可用其他种种实施例实施。上述实施例完全明确了本发明的技术内容,但不应仅限于该具体实例进行狭义地解释,在本发明的精神和权利要求范围内,可以进行各种变更实施。

Claims (6)

1.一种两面光输出型背照明部件,该两面光输出型背照明部件在一对液晶面板上照射两面光,包括:
组装在模制结构内侧并产生光的荧光灯;
包围上述荧光灯形成并反射上述荧光灯产生的光的灯反射体;
在所述一对液晶面板之间与所述荧光灯邻接形成,将上述灯反射体反射的光均匀散射在上下部,含有产生两面光的多个图案的导光板;
分别在上述各液晶面板和上述导光板之间形成,使上述导光板散射的光均匀化的一对扩散板,其特征在于,
上述导光板的图案是沿与上述导光板内部的光输出面平行的水平面纵横固定形成的孔型图案。
2.如权利要求1所述的两面光输出型背照明部件,其特征在于:上述孔型图案具有圆形或多角形的形状。
3.如权利要求1所述的两面光输出型背照明部件,其特征在于:上述孔型图案配置在上述导光板的中心或者偏向任何一方。
4.如权利要求1所述的两面光输出型背照明部件,其特征在于:上述孔型图案根据与上述荧光灯的距离,分别形成相互不同的间隔差异或直径差异。
5.如权利要求1所述的两面光输出型背照明部件,其特征在于:还包括在上述扩散板和上述液晶面板之间形成的至少一个以上的棱镜。
6.如权利要求5所述的两面光输出型背照明部件,其特征在于:还包括在上述棱镜和上述液晶面板之间形成的保护板。
