Description

用于钨-惰性气体-焊接的保护气混合物
本发明涉及用于钨-惰性气体-焊接的保护气混合物。本发明尤其涉及用于钨-惰性气体-轨道-焊接(WIG-轨道(Orbital)-焊接)奥氏体材料即耐腐蚀钢的管材的保护气混合物,它们尤其用于化学工业中。
在WIG-焊接中光弧在钨电极和工件之间的惰性气体保护气流中燃烧。通常氩气用作保护气。
在通常的奥氏体钢中铁氧体含量约为4-5%。由于光弧的加热铁氧体积聚在焊接处,并形成所谓的铁氧体斑点(Nester)。这些铁氧体斑点导致焊缝的腐蚀。
本发明的任务是提供用于尤其是奥氏体钢WIG-焊接的保护气混合物,其将焊缝的易腐蚀性降低到了相当于基本材料腐蚀性能的程度。
为了解决此任务,按照本发明的保护气混合物含有相对于基本组份氩气体积含量为2.0-3.7%的N2和体积含量为0.5-1.2%的H2
在应用本发明的保护气混合物条件下的WIG-焊接中焊接处/焊缝中的铁氧体含量降低到了相当于基本材料铁氧体含量的程度。从而预防了焊缝的易腐蚀性。
N2已知是作为奥氏体组份(Bildner)。然而氩气中仅加有N2的保护气混合物在WIG-焊接中将导致钨电极的迅速磨损。而向其中加入一定体积含量的H2会有相反的作用。
在实践中试验的保护气混合物含量如下:3% N2;0.7% H2,其余为氩气。使用这种保护气混合物的使用寿命试验不仅在其降低焊接处的铁氧体含量方面而且在其提高钨电极使用寿命方面都有好的结果。

Claims (2)

1.用于WIG-焊接奥氏体材料的保护气混合物,其特征为,含有体积含量为2.0-3.7%的N2;体积含量为0.5-1.2%的H2;其余为氩气。
2.按权利要求1的保护气混合物,其特征为,N2和H2的体积含量分别为3%和0.7%。
