原则上,可以增加进给速度,即,材料移动通过加工元件和对向元件之间的间隙的速度。
然而,由于超声波焊头以固定的频率作用在材料上,因此充分的能量不再会引入材料中以实现可靠的熔接。这是因为,在较高的进给速率下,材料与超声波焊头的密封面接触的时间更短,因此超声波焊头对材料施加的“冲击”更少。
这可以通过增加将超声波焊头压在待加工材料上的力来部分地补偿。因此,超声波焊头的“每次冲击”都会将更多的能量传递到材料中。然而,这导致更大的摩擦,并且导致在待熔接材料层之间的边界区域,即,在所谓的接合区,通过超声波加工形成的熔化组分被结构元件挤出接合区,这也会导致较差的接缝,因为在接合区中不再有足够量的热塑性组分可用。可替换地或组合地,也可以增加超声波振动的振幅。再次,由此超声波焊头的“每次冲击”会将更多的能量传递到材料中。然而,这只能在有限的程度上实现。如果超声波焊头在过高的振幅下操作,则会出现对超声波焊头材料的损坏。
为了实现更高的加工速度,先前已经使用了所谓的“熔接轮”,其中在一个轮上布置有多个超声波焊头,以增加轮旋转运动期间的接触时间。然而,这个解决方案非常复杂。
发明内容
因此,从所述的现有技术出发,本发明的目的是提供一种对向元件,利用该对向元件可以以更高的进给速率进行可靠的熔接。
根据本发明,该目的是这样实现的:对向元件具有密封面,所述密封面具有至少部分凹入弯曲的熔接部。
由于熔接部的截面曲率而引起所述对向元件和所述加工元件之间的接触时间变得增加,使得可以将更多的能量引入到所述材料中,通过这种方式也增加了进给速度,而不必增加超声波焊头或砧压在待加工材料上的力。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,对向元件的密封面包括进给部,进给部布置为与熔接部邻接,并且进给部不是弯曲的,是凸出弯曲的,或者是凹入弯曲的,其中曲率半径大于熔接部的曲率半径。由此密封面的斜率或曲率在进给部和熔接部之间的过渡处变化,使得当在进给部的区域中使用具有圆柱形或圆柱截切体形支撑面的对向元件时,加工元件和对向元件的支撑面之间的间距逐渐变小,直到达到最小间距,最小间距对应于熔接部与支撑面之间和/或熔接部与布置在支撑面上的结构元件的上侧之间的间距。该进给部布置为使得在进给方向上移动通过间隙的材料首先与进给部接触,然后与熔接部接触。在优选的实施方案中,进给部是不弯曲的,或者是凹入弯曲的,其中曲率半径大于熔接部的曲率半径。
在优选的实施方案中,进给部是熔接部的0.2倍至5倍。其中特别优选的是,进给部和熔接部的尺寸大致相同。
上述目的还通过具有如上所述的对向元件和加工元件的超声波熔接装置来实现,其中所述加工元件具有基本上圆柱形或圆柱截切体形的支撑面,所述支撑面被设置为在加工过程中与所述材料接触,其中所述加工元件被设置为在加工过程中绕其纵轴旋转,使得所述支撑面在圆周方向上移动并在待加工材料上滚动,其中所述对向元件的密封面能够与所述加工元件相对地布置,使得在所述支撑面和所述密封面之间形成间隙,待加工材料能够布置在所述间隙中,其中在垂直于所述加工元件的纵轴的截面图中,所述熔接部是至少部分凹入弯曲的。
特别地,由于上述对向元件与具有基本上圆柱形或圆柱截切体形的支撑面的加工元件协作,因此增加了进行超声波加工期间的时间长度。在优选的实施方案中,支撑面是圆柱形的或圆柱截切体形的,其中,微小的偏差不影响根据本发明的效果。
在特别优选的实施方案中,超声波熔接装置被构造和设计为使得材料幅或多个材料幅可以在加工元件和对向元件之间移动。可以设置有待加工的材料幅卷绕在其上并且材料被从其拉出并移动通过加工元件和对向元件之间的间隙的一个或多个拉出辊。在加工元件和对向元件之间也可以设置有引导待加工的材料幅的幅引导辊或多个幅引导辊。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,在所述支撑面上布置有至少一个结构元件,所述结构元件在基本上圆柱形或圆柱截切体形支撑面上方径向突出,其中,所述结构元件具有被设置为与待加工材料接触的上侧,其中,所述上侧包括基部和至少一个凹部,与所述基部相比,所述凹部与所述纵轴之间的间距更小,其中,在垂直于纵轴的截面图中,所述基部和所述凹部彼此邻接地布置。
当结构元件在材料上滚动时,塑化组分可以结合在凹部中,从而减少了所述的将塑化组分从接合区域挤出的情况。
在优选的实施方案中,由凹部形成的凹陷不延伸到支撑面,而是优选地深度为小于1mm,并且最优选地为0.05mm至0.2mm。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,凹部被构造为凹槽,其优选地不单独在圆周方向上取向。如果凹槽沿圆周方向取向,则凹槽优选地不完全环绕支撑面,而是仅在<360°的圆周角上延伸,并且更优选地在小于45°并且最优选地小于25°的圆周角上延伸。也可以沿圆周彼此间隔开布置多个凹槽。
凹槽并不用于中断熔接,而是仅用于接收熔化材料,从而使其基本上保持在原地,并且可以用于连接材料层。
已经发现,该凹槽可以阻止由于超声波焊头在凹槽位置处对待加工材料的压力增加而导致的熔体的不利离域。然后,熔体只移动到凹槽处。因此,凹槽用作熔体材料的容器。
在优选的实施方案中,凹槽的宽度小于1mm,优选地小于0.6mm。凹槽的宽度最优选地为0.2mm至0.4mm。
取决于待熔接的材料,如果凹槽的截面积小于0.15mm2就足够了。优选地,截面积甚至小于0.05mm2,并且最优选地截面积为0.015mm2至0.04mm2
在优选的实施方案中,结构元件在上侧包括不在圆周方向上取向的多个凹槽,优选地至少三个凹槽,其中优选地,凹槽彼此平行地布置。凹槽使得能够将熔化材料保持在相应的位置,因此多个凹槽是有利的。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,结构元件的上侧具有主部,所述主部被构造为基本上平面或具有曲率半径对应于所述主部与圆柱体轴的间距的凸曲率,并且具有在圆周方向上邻接主部的至少一个倒角部。倒角部相对于主部成角度,使得主部和倒角部围成小于180°的角,或者倒角部是凸出弯曲的,其中,如果主部是凸出弯曲的,则倒角部的曲率半径小于主部的曲率半径。其中,所述至少一个凹部优选地步置在所述主部中。倒角部用于逐渐准备用于主部和对向元件之间的熔接接触的材料。上侧在主部和倒角部之间的过渡处的斜率或曲率发生变化。这确保了当使用加工元件时,结构元件和对向元件之间的间距连续减小,直到达到结构元件和对向元件之间的最小间距。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,上侧包括两个在圆周方向上邻接主部的相对侧的倒角部,这两个倒角部相对于主部成角度,使得主部和倒角部在每种情况下都包括小于180°的角度。因此,在加工中,结构元件的上侧不仅具有进给倒角部,而且具有送出倒角部,由此在结构元件的加工结束时,由对向元件施加至加工元件的力仅逐渐减小。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,结构元件的上侧具有长度为l和宽度为b的细长形状,其中l>b。长度优选地不平行于纵轴延伸,但是优选地基本上垂直于纵轴延伸。
在进一步优选的实施方案中,加工元件用于在待加工材料通过加工元件和对向元件之间的进给方向上旋转,其中所述进给部和所述熔接部被布置为使得在所述进给方向上移动通过所述间隙的材料首先与所述进给部接触,然后与所述熔接部接触。
如上所述,对向元件可以是超声波焊头,并且加工元件可以是砧。

具体实施方式
图1示出了超声波熔接系统的立体图。超声波熔接系统包括被构造为砧的加工元件1,这里加工元件被构造为可绕纵轴10旋转的辊。至少一个具有支撑面2的横向接缝条11设置在辊上。构造为超声波焊头的对向元件3布置在其相对位置。
这里,对向元件3可以用超声波振荡来激发。然后,待加工材料在支撑面2和超声波焊头3的面对支撑面2的密封面之间移动,其中材料的移动速度与加工元件1的周向速度相匹配。支撑面2和超声波焊头3之间的间隙必须选择成使得在加工过程中将超声波振动传递到材料上,并且在边界面处发生热塑性组分的熔化。
图2示出了图1的放大细节。
可以看出,多个结构元件4布置在支撑面2上。结构元件4具有在圆周方向上取向的细长形状。在加工过程中结构元件4与材料接触,并且确定在加工过程中引入到材料中的熔接图案。例如,超声波熔接系统可以用于制造由非织造材料制成的尿布的侧缝。
在图3中,示出了图2的放大细节,其中结构元件4清晰可见。在圆周方向(相对于纵轴10)上,两个结构元件4彼此邻接地布置。在轴向方向上,多对这样的结构元件对彼此邻接地布置。
各结构元件具有主部6以及两个倒角部7、8,倒角部7和8比主部6更强烈地弯曲。在主部6中引入了凹槽5,在所示的实施方案中,主部垂直于圆周方向延伸。凹槽不需要垂直于圆周方向延伸。然而,为了实现根据本发明的效果,它们不应该平行于圆周方向布置。如果凹槽确实平行于圆周方向布置,则它们不应该延伸穿过整个结构元件4。
在熔接加工中,结构元件4在待加工材料上滚动,使得倒角部8首先与待加工材料接触。由于倒角部8的成角度布置,结构元件4与相对布置的对向元件3的密封面之间的间距在该区域中连续减小,直到在主部6的区域中达到最小间距。主部6可以形成为凸出地弯曲,其中曲率半径基本上对应于结构元件4的上侧和加工元件1的纵轴10之间的间距。
在主部6中引入了深度为0.1mm且宽度为0.3mm的凹槽5。熔化材料可以渗透到由此产生的凹部中,使得其基本上保持在原地,并且不会被结构元件挤出接合区域。
图4示出了图1的超声波熔接装置的侧视图。密封面,即,面向支撑面和/或结构元件4的面,是面9。
图5示出了图4的局部放大图。这里面9由进给部9a和熔接部9b构成。熔接部9b是凹入弯曲的,特别地曲率半径与加工元件的主部的曲率半径基本上相同。这种措施确保了在加工过程中,材料与超声波焊头保持更长时间的接触,使得可以将更多的能量引入到待加工材料中。在该实施方案中,进给部9a不形成为弯曲的,从而确保待加工材料首先被引导到进给部9a的区域的狭窄间隙中。熔接部和进给部的尺寸大致相同。在熔接部9b的区域中,间隙最小,并且在熔接部的区域中保持基本上恒定。熔接主要由熔接部9b进行,但是进给部9a已经可以在其面向熔接部9b的端部处对熔接做出贡献。
虚线示出了进给部9a和熔接部9b之间的边界。在所示的实施方案中,该边界布置在密封面9的中央,使得进给部9a和熔接部9b具有相同的尺寸。边界应优选地布置为使得熔接部占据面9的20%至80%,优选地30%至70%。

Claims (14)

1.一种用于通过超声波来加工材料的对向元件,所述对向元件具有密封面,所述密封面具有至少部分凹入弯曲的熔接部。
2.根据权利要求1所述的对向元件,其特征在于,所述密封面包括进给部,所述进给部布置为与所述熔接部邻接,并且所述进给部不是弯曲的,是凸出弯曲的或者是凹入弯曲的,其中曲率半径大于所述熔接部的曲率半径。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的对向元件,其特征在于,所述进给部和所述熔接部的尺寸大致相等。
4.根据权利要求1至3中任一项所述的对向元件,其特征在于,所述对向元件是超声波焊头。
5.一种具有根据前述权利要求中任一项所述的对向元件和加工元件的超声波熔接装置,其中,所述加工元件具有基本上圆柱形或圆柱截切体形的支撑面,所述支撑面用于在加工过程中与所述材料接触,其中所述加工元件用于在所述加工过程中围绕其纵轴旋转,使得所述支撑面在圆周方向上移动并在待加工材料上滚动,其中所述对向元件的所述密封面能够与所述加工元件相对地布置,使得在所述支撑面和所述密封面之间形成间隙,所述待加工材料能够布置在所述间隙中,其中在垂直于所述加工元件的纵轴的截面图中,所述熔接部是至少部分凹入弯曲的。
6.根据权利要求5所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,在所述支撑面上布置有至少一个结构元件,所述结构元件在所述基本上圆柱形或圆柱截切体形的支撑面上方径向突出,其中,所述结构元件具有用于与所述待加工材料接触的上侧,其中所述上侧包括基部和至少一个凹部,与所述基部相比,所述凹部与所述纵轴之间的间距更小,其中,在垂直于所述纵轴的截面图中,所述基部和所述凹部彼此邻接地布置,其中优选地,由所述凹部形成的凹陷不延伸到所述支撑面,其中优选地所述凹陷的深度小于1mm,并且特别优选地为0.05mm至0.2mm。
7.根据权利要求6所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,所述凹部被构造为凹槽,其中优选地,所述凹槽不沿圆周方向取向,和/或所述凹槽的宽度小于1mm,优选地小于0.6mm,特别优选地为0.2mm至0.4mm。
8.根据权利要求7所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,所述凹槽的截面积小于0.15mm2,优选地小于0.05mm2,特别优选地,所述截面积为0.015mm2至0.04mm2

10.根据权利要求5至9中任一项所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,所述上侧具有主部,所述主部被构造为基本上平面或具有曲率半径对应于所述主部与圆柱体轴之间的间距的凸曲率,并且所述上侧具有至少一个倒角部,所述倒角部在圆周方向上邻接所述主部,并且相对于所述主部成角度,使得所述主部和所述倒角部围成<180°的角度,和/或所述倒角部是凸出弯曲的,其中,如果所述主部形成为凸出弯曲的,则所述倒角部的曲率半径小于所述主部的曲率半径,其中优选地,所述至少一个凹部布置在所述主部中。
11.根据权利要求10所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,所述加工元件的所述主部是凸出弯曲的,其曲率半径基本上对应于所述对向元件的凹入弯曲部的曲率半径。
12.根据权利要求5至11中任一项所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,设置有在圆周方向上彼此间隔开的至少两个结构元件,和/或所述加工元件被构造为砧和/或所述上侧具有长度为l且宽度为b的细长形式,其中l>b。
13.根据权利要求5至12中任一项所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,所述加工元件用于在进给方向上旋转,其中待加工材料在所述加工元件和所述对向元件之间移动,其中所述进给部和所述熔接部布置成,使得在所述进给方向上移动通过所述间隙的材料首先与所述进给部接触,然后与所述熔接部接触。
14.根据权利要求5至13中任一项所述的超声波熔接装置,其特征在于,设置有待加工的材料幅卷绕在其上的至少一个拉出辊和/或引导待加工的材料幅的至少一个幅引导辊,其中拉出辊和/或幅引导辊被布置为使得一个或多个材料幅能够在所述加工元件和所述对向元件之间移动。
