TABLE 1
As can be seen from the data in table 1, the odor-free skin care compositions of examples 1 to 3 have good inhibitory effects on common gram-negative bacteria such as escherichia coli or gram-positive bacteria such as staphylococcus aureus, and the comparative example 5 lacks pentanediol compared with example 1, and the antibacterial rate is significantly lower than that of example 1, which indicates that the composition including pentanediol can exert excellent antibacterial effect, thereby improving the odor-free effect of the composition.
Test example 2
This test example evaluates the antioxidant properties of the odor-free skin care compositions prepared in examples 1-5 or comparative examples 1-2.
ABTS free radical scavenging ability (Trolox equivalent antioxidant capacity, TEAC) test is one of the most common methods for evaluating the oxidation resistance of compounds. Its main principle is that potassium persulfate (K) 2 S 2 O 8 ) Direct generation of stable cationic free radical ABTS with ABTS + Antioxidant substances and ABTS + The reaction occurs to fade the reaction system.
The specific evaluation steps are as follows:
(1) Formulation of ABTS + And (3) storing liquid: 5mL of ABTS solution (7.4 mmol/L) and 5mL of potassium persulfate (2.6 mmol/L) are uniformly mixed and placed at 25 ℃ for 12h;
(2) Before use, ABTS was buffered with PBS at pH 7.4 + Diluting the stock solution, and adjusting absorbance at 734nm to 0.70+ -0.02 to obtain ABTS + A working fluid;
(3) Taking 0.2mL of ABTS + Working fluid was mixed with 10 μl of sample of the odor-free skin care composition, the composition was replaced with pure water in a blank, and the absorbance was measured every 6min in a 96-well plate at 30deg.C for 30 min. ABTS radical clearance after 30min treatment was calculated from the following formula:
ABTS radical clearance (%) = (a) 0 -A i /A 0 ) X 100%, where A 0 Absorbance values for the blank group, A i Absorbance values for each experimental group.
TABLE 2
Group of | ABTS radical clearance (%) |
Example 1 | 63.4 |
Example 2 | 72.5 |
Example 3 | 59.1 |
Example 4 | 43.2 |
Example 5 | 40.2 |
Comparative example 1 | 18.9 |
Comparative example 2 | 29.1 |
