本申请提供了数据传输方法及通信装置,涉及通信技术领域,能够保证业务连续性。该方法应用于配置有至少两条上行射频通道的终端设备。该方法包括:在第一载波上发送第一数据。其中,第一载波包括至少一个普通上行NUL载波,且第一载波占用至少两条通道中的全部通道。然后,由于其他因素影响,终端设备确定信号质量变差,在第二载波上发起随机接入。其中,第二载波属于补充上行SUL载波,且占用至少两条通道中的至少一条通道。在下行载波上接收第一消息。其中,第一消息指示以下至少一项:减少第一载波的数量,或减少第一载波支持的多输入多输出MIMO层数。之后,在第二载波上发送第二数据,第二数据是第一数据之后发送的数据。
