Abstract
The application relates to the field of water paint, in particular to water-based high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint and a preparation method thereof. The water-based high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint comprises, by weight, 15-20 parts of acrylic emulsion, 4-8 parts of water, 65-75 parts of inorganic filler, 1-5 parts of film forming auxiliary agent and 0.01-0.1 part of thickener. The edge sealing paint disclosed by the application is low in cost, and has the advantages of high solid content, good hardness, quick drying, good rib expansion prevention effect, good adhesive force, good water resistance, good yellowing resistance and good storage stability.
Description
Technical Field
The application relates to the field of water paint, in particular to water-based high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The edge sealing paint is mainly used for filling up and sealing edges of the side surfaces and the tangential surfaces of the density boards, the shaving boards or the melamine boards, so that the artwork achieves better primer coating effect. The traditional furniture edge sealing paint mainly comprises oily PU and NC edge sealing paint, is unsafe to store and transport because of containing a large amount of organic solvents, has high construction VOC, and has great harm to the environment and paint constructors, and is slowly replaced by water-based edge sealing paint.
Chinese patent CN101812266B and chinese patent CN102241941B mention the preparation of edge sealing paint using aqueous polyurethane as the main film forming material, its construction solids content is up to about 70%, however its filling properties, dry speed and hardness are to be improved, and the cost is slightly higher with polyurethane resin as primer. Chinese patent CN102746748B adopts water-free redispersible emulsion powder as main resin, improves the solid content (about 77% at maximum) of the edge sealing paint, thereby accelerating the drying speed of a paint film, and improves the hardness of the paint film by matching wollastonite, but the patent still needs mixed water-based polyurethane as a film forming substance, and the wetting property of the water-based polyurethane is much better than that of acrylic emulsion on a base material and powder.
In the environment of raw material price surge, a plurality of paint enterprises should be charged with price, and the orderly operation of the enterprises is ensured. Therefore, the water-based edge sealing paint with low cost, high solid content, good hardness and quick drying is more needed in the current market.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at some problems existing in the prior art, the first aspect of the application provides an aqueous high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint, which comprises, by weight, 15-20 parts of acrylic emulsion, 4-8 parts of water, 65-75 parts of inorganic filler, 1-5 parts of film forming auxiliary agent and 0.01-0.1 part of thickener.
In one embodiment, the preparation raw materials of the water-based high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint further comprise 0.1-1 part by weight of wetting agent, 0.1-0.5 part by weight of defoamer, 0.5-1.5 parts by weight of dispersing agent and 0.1-0.5 part by weight of rheological auxiliary agent.
In a preferred embodiment, the preparation raw materials of the water-based high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint comprise, by weight, 18.6 parts of acrylic emulsion, 7.15-7.25 parts of water, 0.8 part of dispersing agent, 0.2 part of defoaming agent, 0.5 part of wetting agent, 69.5 parts of inorganic filler, 3 parts of film-forming auxiliary agent, 0.1-0.2 part of rheological auxiliary agent and 0.05 part of thickening agent.
In one embodiment, the acrylic emulsion is a pure acrylic emulsion and/or a styrene acrylic emulsion.
Preferably, the viscosity of the acrylic emulsion is below 500mpa.s at 25 ℃.
Preferably, the acrylic emulsion is selected from one or more of Guanzhong PA-4868, guanzhong PA-4852, DSM XK12, DOW 3311, guanzhong PA-4850, guanzhong PA-4851; more preferably coronary PA-4868 and/or coronary PA-4852.
In one embodiment, the dispersant has a viscosity of less than 1000mpa.s at 25 ℃.
Preferably, the dispersant is an anionic dispersant, and more preferably a polycarboxylate dispersant.
Preferably, the dispersing agent is OS-5040, which is obtained from Guangzhou Guanzhu New Material technology Co.
In one embodiment, the defoamer is a mineral oil and its stearate mixture.
Preferably, the defoamer has a pH of 4 to 7.
More preferably, the defoamer is of the brand OS-5201 and is sourced from Guangzhou Guanzhu New Material technology Co.
In one embodiment, the wetting agent has an HLB value of from 17 to 18.
Preferably, the viscosity of the wetting agent is less than 2500mpa.s at 25 ℃.
Preferably, the wetting agent is OS-406, which is available from Guangzhou Guanzhu New Material technology Co.
In one embodiment, the inorganic filler is selected from one or more of ground calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, ground calcium carbonate, talc, mica powder.
The heavy calcium powder of the application has the brand of Yufeng heavy calcium 868 and is purchased from Guangdong Yufeng powder materials Co.
Preferably, the titanium dioxide is rutile titanium dioxide.
Preferably, the titanium dioxide has an average particle size of 0.1 to 0.5 microns, more preferably 0.26 microns.
More preferably, the titanium dioxide is DuPont titanium dioxide R-706 available from Dongguan City Plastic through pigment Co.
Preferably, the particle size of the dust calcium powder is 500-1000 mesh, more preferably 800 mesh.
In one embodiment, the weight ratio of the heavy calcium powder, the titanium pigment and the gray calcium powder is (60-65): (1-5): 4, preferably in a weight ratio of 63:2.5:4.
The applicant has found unexpectedly in experiments that the acrylic emulsion is selected from one or more of Guanzhong PA-4868, guanzhong PA-4852, DSM XK12, DOW 3311, guanzhong PA-4850 and Guanzhong PA-4851, and the inorganic filler is in weight ratio of (60-65): (1-5): 4, the high-solid sealing paint can be obtained under the conditions, and has a high drying rate, meanwhile, the gray calcium powder in the inorganic filler can be partially dissolved by water and hydrolyzed into calcium ions, and a part of calcium ions are in a polymer structure network after the paint film is dried and react with carbon dioxide in the air to generate calcium carbonate, so that the calcium carbonate becomes a part of a polymer network structure, and the structural strength and the bonding performance of the paint film to the filler are improved.
The film forming aid in the present application is not particularly limited and may be selected conventionally by those skilled in the art, and in one embodiment, the film forming aid is selected from dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether, dipropylene glycol butyl ether, alcohol ester ten, etc., and the film forming aid is preferably dipropylene glycol monomethyl ether and dipropylene glycol butyl ether in a weight ratio of (1 to 1.5): 1.8, more preferably a weight ratio of 1.2:1.8.
In one embodiment, the rheology aid is BYK S482.
In one embodiment, the thickener is a polyurethane-based thickener.
Preferably, the thickener is identified by the brand name Ming Ling PUR 65, available from acari Water materials Co., ltd.
The second aspect of the application provides a preparation method of the water-based high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint, which comprises the following steps: adding the acrylic emulsion into a container, controlling the rotating speed to be 800-1000r/min, sequentially adding a dispersing agent, a defoaming agent, a wetting agent and a first batch of water, adding an inorganic filler, then dispersing at a high speed for 5min at 2600-2800r/min, testing the fineness by a fineness scraping plate, reducing the rotating speed to be 800-1000r/min if the fineness is less than 50 mu m, adding a second batch of water and a rheological additive into the container after fully and uniformly mixing, and then adding a film forming additive and a thickening agent into the container and continuously stirring for 5min to obtain the acrylic emulsion.
Wherein the first batch of water is 77wt% of the total amount of water, and the second batch of water is the remaining amount of water.
Compared with the prior art, the application has the following beneficial effects:
the edge sealing paint disclosed by the application is low in cost, and has the advantages of high solid content, good hardness, quick drying, good rib expansion prevention effect, good adhesive force, good water resistance, good yellowing resistance and good storage stability.
Detailed Description
The present application is illustrated by the following specific embodiments, but is not limited to the specific examples given below.
Examples 1-2 and comparative examples 1-4 aqueous high solids quick drying edge seal were prepared from the following materials in Table 1.

Wherein, sandability test: the test is carried out according to national standard GB/T23999-2009. The grinding difficulty was observed, and the amount of powder and whether to stick sand paper were visually assessed on a scale of 1-5, where 5 is the best and 1 is the worst.
The rib expansion preventing effect: the edge sealing paint is coated on a density board by a 200 mu m wet film coater, the surface swelling degree of a paint film is observed, and the evaluation is carried out according to the grade of 1-5, wherein 5 is the best swelling prevention effect, and 1 is the worst swelling prevention effect.
Surface dry/real dry time test: the test is carried out according to national standard GB/T23999-2009.
And (3) solid content testing: the test is carried out according to national standard GB/T23999-2009.
Hardness testing: the test was performed according to ASTM D3363 using a pencil hardness tester.
Adhesion test: the scoring was done according to ASTM D3359, with 5B being the best and 0B the worst, and rated according to a scale of 0B-5B.
And (3) water resistance test: the paint film was observed to change by testing according to national standard GB/T23999-2009, and rated on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the best resistance and 1 being the worst resistance.
Yellowing resistance test: QUV testing was performed for 168h according to national standard GB/T23999-2009, and then the Δe values of the samples were recorded.
Storage stability test: and (3) storing for 7 days at 50 ℃, observing the layering and powder precipitation conditions of the paint, testing the fineness of the sample, comparing the film forming property and edge sealing effect performance of the room-temperature storage sample, and if the layering and powder hard precipitation conditions are not present and the film forming property and edge sealing effect are not obviously changed, passing through the heat storage.
Claims (6)
1. The water-based high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint is characterized by comprising, by weight, 15-20 parts of acrylic emulsion, 4-8 parts of water, 65-75 parts of inorganic filler, 1-5 parts of film forming auxiliary agent and 0.01-0.1 part of thickener, and further comprising 0.1-1 part of wetting agent, 0.1-0.5 part of defoamer, 0.5-1.5 parts of dispersing agent and 0.1-0.5 part of rheological auxiliary agent; the acrylic emulsion is Guanzhi PA-4868 and/or Guanzhi PA-4852, and the weight ratio of the inorganic filler heavy calcium powder to the titanium pigment to the gray calcium powder is 63:2.5:4; the HLB value of the wetting agent is 17-18.
2. The aqueous high-solid quick-drying edge sealing paint according to claim 1, wherein the acrylic emulsion is pure acrylic emulsion and/or styrene acrylic emulsion.
3. The aqueous high solids quick drying edge seal paint of claim 2 wherein the acrylic emulsion has a viscosity of less than 500mpa.s at 25 ℃.
4. The aqueous high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint according to claim 1, wherein the titanium dioxide is rutile titanium dioxide.
5. The aqueous high-solid-content quick-drying edge sealing paint according to claim 1, wherein the particle size of the gray calcium powder is 500-1000 meshes.

A process for preparing the aqueous high-solid quick-drying edge sealing paint as claimed in claim 1, wherein the acrylic emulsion is added into a container, the rotation speed is controlled to be 800-1000r/min, dispersing agent, defoamer, wetting agent and first batch of water are sequentially added, then inorganic filler is added, 2600-2800r/min is dispersed for 5min at high speed, the fineness is tested by a fineness scraping plate, if the fineness is less than 50 μm, the rotation speed is reduced to be 800-1000r/min, the second batch of water and rheological auxiliary agent are fully and uniformly mixed and then added into the container, and then the film forming auxiliary agent and the thickening agent are added and are continuously stirred for 5 min.
