In some embodiments, the carousel window 520 may be configured to play the media asset corresponding to each column in turn, for example, in fig. 5, the carousel window 520 is playing the media asset 1, and after playing the media asset 1, the carousel window may perform the cyclic play in the order of the media asset 2, the media asset 3, the media asset 4, the media asset 1, and the media asset 2 … ….
In some embodiments, the media corresponding to the column may be a picture, such as a media poster. The vod program may obtain the first storage path from the recommended bit data of the column, call the picture from the first storage path, and display the picture in the carousel window 520. To enable the playback of a picture, carousel window 520 may be a picture playback control, such as an image control.
In some embodiments, the media corresponding to the column may be video, such as a media trailer. The vod program may obtain the second storage path from the recommended bit data of the column, retrieve the video file from the second storage path, decode the video file by using the player resource to obtain video stream data, and then display the video stream data in the carousel window 520, where, in order to play the video, the carousel window 520 may be a player control, such as a MediaPlayer control, and the player resource may include a MediaServer (media services), a driver and a decoding chip. Taking the carousel window 520 as an example, the control calls the MediaServer, the driver and the decoding chip sequentially through the MediaPlayer, and can process the video file to obtain video stream data. It can be seen that when the carousel window plays, the player resources are occupied by the carousel window.
In some embodiments, the configuration data of the column of the carousel window 520 includes advertisement parameters, and the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement parameters may be a screen advertisement, where the screen advertisement may refer to an advertisement display form that the advertisement window excessively occupies a screen area, obstructs the user from watching the main visual content or affects the user to continue to operate, and the screen advertisement also needs to be played through the MediaPlayer control of the display device. In order to achieve a good advertising effect, some advertisement windows of the advertisement on the super screen are half-screen windows or full-screen windows which possibly occupy one half of the screen area, and some advertisement windows of the advertisement on the super screen can be dynamically changed, the advertisement windows are full-screen windows in the early stage of advertisement playing, and the advertisement windows are not full-screen windows in the later stage of advertisement playing; in order to avoid excessive interference to the content being watched by the user, some advertisement windows of the advertisement screen may also be transparent background, and part of the image of the interface below the advertisement window of the advertisement screen may be penetrated.
In some embodiments, since the advertisement parameter is not set in the video data of the media corresponding to the column but in the configuration data of the column, the current interface provided with the carousel window 520 needs to generate an advertisement window different from the carousel window to play the advertisement on the screen, and for differentiation, the carousel window may be referred to as a first play window, and the advertisement window may be referred to as a second play window. Because the first playing window is a carousel window, as long as the first playing window is located in the display range of the display device, or the preset area of the first playing window is located in the display range of the display device, the first playing window will continuously play, so that the advertisement on the screen of the user will meet the problem of playing the advertisement on the screen of the user simultaneously with the media of the first playing window in the playing device, and the playing at the same time can cause the occupation conflict of the resources of the player, so that the phenomenon of blocking or even the phenomenon of black screen of the display device occurs, and the user experience is affected. In some embodiments, in addition to the vod program interface shown in fig. 5, there may be a need to play advertisements in some other interfaces, such as a search interface, where playing advertisements may also cause the display device to get stuck or even black screen if the display device is playing a video through a non-carousel window.
In order to solve the above-mentioned technical problem, in some embodiments, after some specific pages are started, the display device may detect whether advertisement parameters exist in page data of the current interface, where the specific pages may be preset pages where advertisement requirements may exist, such as a top page of a video on demand program. If the advertisement parameter exists, judging whether the current interface has a first playing window which is playing, if so, stopping playing of the first playing window, starting the second playing window to play the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement parameter, closing the advertisement window after the advertisement is played, and then controlling the first playing window to continue playing. If the first playing window which is being played does not exist, a second playing window can be directly popped up on the current interface to play the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement parameter, and after the advertisement is played, the second playing window is closed. If the advertisement parameter does not exist, the carousel media asset is directly played.
To illustrate the above method for avoiding player resource occupation conflict, fig. 6 is a schematic flow chart of an advertisement playing method according to some embodiments. As shown in fig. 6, the advertisement playing method may include the steps of:
Step S110: and responding to the input operation, and displaying the current interface.
In some embodiments, the display device may request the home page data from the server after power-on, or may request the home page data from the server in response to an input operation from a user, such as an operation to enter the home page. And the server transmits the home page data to the display equipment, so that the display equipment can draw and display the home page according to the home page data. If the first page data includes data of the player control, a first playing window can be started on the first page to play the first video data corresponding to the player control, as shown in fig. 5, and the video data of the column is played through the carousel window on the current interface; if the home page data does not comprise the data of the player control, a playing window for playing video data is not started on the home page; if the home page data comprises the data of the picture playing control, a first playing window is started on the home page to play the picture data corresponding to the picture playing control.
Step S120: and detecting whether advertisement parameters exist in page data of the current interface.
In some embodiments, the display device may detect whether there are advertisement parameters in the page data of the current page issued by the server.
In some embodiments, the advertisement parameters may be present in configuration parameters of any control in the current page.
In some embodiments, the current page includes a carousel component that includes a carousel window and a column control for switching content displayed in the carousel window, and other controls. The carousel component can play the media content corresponding to the column control in the carousel window in a time-sharing mode. The detecting whether the advertisement parameter exists in the page data of the current interface may be detecting whether the advertisement parameter exists in the data corresponding to the column control to be played by the carousel window in the current interface.
Step S130: if the advertisement parameter exists, and the first playing window playing the first video data exists on the current interface, automatically pausing the playing of the first playing window, starting a second playing window in the upper image layer of the current interface to play the second video data corresponding to the advertisement parameter, closing the second playing window after the second video data is completely played, and controlling the first playing window to continue playing.
In some embodiments, in order to ensure the advertisement playing effect, when a first playing window for playing the first video data exists on the current interface, second video data corresponding to the advertisement parameter may be acquired from the server, a new layer may be generated above the current interface, where the layer may be provided with a player control, and the player control displays a second playing window to play the second video data. And during the playing of the second playing window, the playing of the first playing window is paused, so that the occupation conflict of player resources is avoided.
In some embodiments, after the second playing window finishes playing the second video data, the layer of the second playing window may be revoked, and the first playing window is controlled to resume playing.
In some embodiments, the first play window may be a carousel window.
In some embodiments, the carousel window may present video content. In some embodiments, the carousel window may also be used to display a picture corresponding to the column control. The display of the pictures does not need to occupy the player resources, so that when the pictures corresponding to the columns are displayed in the carousel windows, the display of the carousel windows does not need to be paused, and the advertisement of the super screen corresponding to the columns can be directly played in the second playing window.
Step S140: if the advertisement parameter exists and the first playing window which is playing the first video data does not exist in the current interface, starting the second playing window in the upper image layer of the current interface to play the second video data corresponding to the advertisement parameter, and closing the second playing window after the second video data is played.
In some embodiments, if the current interface does not have the first playing window for playing the first video data, the second video data corresponding to the advertisement parameter may be obtained from the server, and a new layer may be generated above the current interface, where the layer may be provided with a player control, and the player control displays a second playing window to play the second video data.
In some embodiments, when the carousel window is a first play window using a player resource, the absence of the first play window that is playing the first video data may mean that the carousel window is absent.
In some embodiments, if the carousel window is configured to display video data played by a player or to present a picture loaded by a picture display control, then the absence of the first play window that is playing the first video data may be that the carousel window did not present video data played by the player.
In some embodiments, the current page may also not include a carousel component, and the first playback window may be a window component in the current page.
In some embodiments, the first playback window is configured to occupy player resources when playing video data and to not occupy player resources when displaying pictures.
In some embodiments, after the second video data is played by the second playing window, the layer of the second playing window may be revoked.
In some embodiments, when the media asset played in the first playing window is a picture, the first playing does not occupy player resources, so before the advertisement is played, the playing of the first playing can be stopped, and the advertisement and the media asset in the media asset window can be played at the same time.
In some embodiments, when it is detected that the first playing window exists in the page, it is further detected whether an advertisement parameter exists in the page data of the current interface.
As can be seen from fig. 6, the data of the current interface may or may not have advertisement parameters, and thus, the scene of the current interface may be a scene that needs to play the advertisement of the super screen, or may be a scene that does not need to play the advertisement of the super screen, where in some embodiments, even if the advertisement parameters are present, if the data returned by the server is empty, the scene that does not need to play the advertisement of the super screen is also a scene that does not need to play the advertisement of the super screen. During the advertisement playing period, the phenomenon that the display equipment is blocked or even is blocked due to the conflict of the calling of the player resources can be avoided by suspending the playing of the media resource window which is playing the media resource on the current interface, wherein the media resource window can be a carousel window or a non-carousel window.
FIG. 7 illustrates a timing diagram of media playback for a non-super screen advertisement, according to some embodiments, for a non-super screen advertisement scenario; for a scene with a super screen advertisement, fig. 8 shows a timing diagram of super screen advertisement playing when the carousel media asset is a picture according to some embodiments, and fig. 9 illustrates a timing diagram of super screen advertisement playing when the carousel media asset is a video according to some embodiments.
Referring to fig. 7, in some embodiments, the display device may request the home page data from the server after power-on, or may request the home page data from the server after receiving an operation input by a user, such as an operation to enter the home page, in response to the input operation. The server transmits the home page data to the display device, so that the display device can draw and display the current interface shown in fig. 5 according to the home page data.
In some embodiments, the first page data issued by the server, that is, the data of the current interface, may include recommendation bit data, where the recommendation bit data may include advertisement parameters or may not include advertisement parameters, where the advertisement parameters may include an adCode and a codeType, and the advertisement type may be a screen advertisement. For example, when a user starts up for the first time on a day and enters the home page, the home page data issued by the server contains advertisement parameters, when the user enters the home page again within a period of time, the home page data issued by the server does not contain advertisement parameters, and when the user enters the home page again after the period of time is exceeded, the home page data issued by the server contains advertisement parameters, and the server can be further configured to issue advertisement parameters for not more than 3 times in one day so as to ensure the viewing experience of the user.
In some embodiments, after entering the home page of the vod program shown in fig. 5, the display device may include data of a player control according to the home page data, and in the data of the player control, the media asset played by the player control is media asset corresponding to a plurality of columns, and the playing mode is carousel, so that the home page including a carousel window may be generated, the carousel window is controlled to play one carousel media asset, and then the media assets corresponding to the plurality of columns are automatically and circularly played. The user can also press the up key and the down key on the remote controller to switch the focus of the display device between the columns, when the display focus is positioned on one of the columns, the user presses the confirm key on the remote controller, the carousel window can play the media corresponding to the column, and after the media is played, the next media is automatically played.
In some embodiments, after entering the home page of the vod program shown in fig. 5, the display device may include data of an image playing control according to the home page data, and in the data of the image playing control, media materials played by the image playing control are pictures corresponding to a plurality of columns, and a playing mode is carousel, so that the home page including a carousel window may be generated, the carousel window is controlled to play a picture corresponding to one column, and then the pictures corresponding to the plurality of columns are automatically and circularly played. The user can also press the up key and the down key on the remote controller to switch the focus of the display device between the columns, when the display focus is positioned on one of the columns, the user presses the confirm key on the remote controller, the carousel window can display the picture corresponding to the column, and after the preset time, the next picture is automatically played. In some embodiments, the advertisement parameter may be located in the column data of a certain column of the carousel window, and when the carousel window plays the media corresponding to one of the columns, the server indicates that the advertisement data is not arranged for the column according to that the column data of the column does not include the advertisement parameter.
In some embodiments, when playing the media corresponding to one of the columns, the carousel window may refer to any time between when the last carousel is cut and when the current carousel is cut.
In some embodiments, when the carousel window plays the media corresponding to one of the columns, according to the advertisement parameter contained in the column data of the column, the server indicates that the server lays out the advertisement for the column, and the carousel window can send the advertisement parameter to the carousel SDK (Software Development Kit ).
In some embodiments, the carousel SDK may be a packaging tool for a carousel window, and may implement packaging of functions of carousel services such as a channel carousel service, a live carousel service, and carousel related services such as a picture carousel service, a short video carousel service, and the like. Since the advertisement of the super screen is strongly related to the picture carousel service and the short video carousel service in the carousel SDK, therefore, specific logic of advertisement on screen of Baba is encapsulated in the carousel SDK, advertisement data of the advertisement of the super screen of the carousel window can be requested by using the carousel SDK. After receiving the advertisement parameters sent by the carousel window, the carousel SDK may generate an advertisement request according to the advertisement parameters, and call an interface of the carousel SDK to send the advertisement request to a server to request advertisement data, where the advertisement request may include a display device identifier and advertisement parameters, such as adCode, codeType, where the display device identifier may be identity information of a display device, each display device has a unique display device identifier, the requested advertisement data may include a URL (uniform resource locator) and an advertisement size of an advertisement, and the advertisement size may include advertisement resolution.
In some embodiments, the server may be provided with an advertising terminal service and advertising background. The advertising terminal service can be used for controlling the playing of advertisements on the display device, including the playing of a start-up advertisement, the playing of a top page advertisement, and the like, wherein the top page advertisement can comprise a screen-in-super advertisement. The advertisement terminal service may be an application program set on the server, and the carousel SDK belongs to a video on demand program set on the display device, and the carousel SDK may request advertisement data from the advertisement terminal service across processes, and a specific data interaction manner may be to obtain the data through a ContentProvider. The advertising background may store video files of advertisements. Different advertisements may originate from different advertisement backoffice, wherein the advertisement backoffice of the display device side may be deployed on the same server as the advertisement terminal service, or may be deployed on different servers, and the advertisement backoffice of the third party may be deployed on different servers than the advertisement terminal service. When the advertising terminal service and the advertising background are deployed on different servers, the advertising terminal service may interact with the advertising background over a network.
In some embodiments, after receiving the advertisement request of the carousel SDK, the advertisement terminal service may request advertisement data from the advertisement background through the network according to the advertisement request, and the advertisement background may determine whether to return the advertisement data to the advertisement terminal service according to a preset rule. For example, the advertisement background may store an advertisement request record of each display device, determine, according to a display device identifier in the advertisement request, whether to return advertisement data corresponding to the advertisement parameter to the display device, and if the number of times the display device requests the advertisement data corresponding to the advertisement parameter on the same day does not exceed a preset number of times, or the time from the last time the display device requests the advertisement data corresponding to the advertisement parameter has exceeded a specified time, return a request result including the advertisement data to the advertisement terminal service, otherwise, return a request result not including the advertisement data. Of course, the advertisement background may also determine whether to return advertisement data to the advertisement terminal service according to other rules, for example, the advertisement data corresponding to the advertisement parameter is deleted, and a request result not including the advertisement data is returned to the advertisement terminal service.
In some embodiments, the advertising terminal service may also store an advertisement request record for each display device. After receiving the advertisement request of the carousel SDK, the advertisement terminal service can also determine whether to request advertisement data to the advertisement background according to the frequency and time interval of the advertisement request of the display device in the advertisement request record.
In some embodiments, after receiving the request result of the advertisement background, the advertisement terminal service may feed back the request result to the carousel SDK of the display device, where the carousel SDK may parse the request result, determine whether advertisement data exists in the request result, and then feed back the determined result to the carousel window.
In some embodiments, if the request result does not include advertisement data, the advertisement window indicates that no advertisement is displayed on the screen, and the carousel window may play carousel media according to the request result that the request result does not include advertisement data.
In some embodiments, if the request result includes advertisement data, it indicates that there is a screen advertisement currently, and the screen advertisement needs to be played.
As can be seen from fig. 7, after the carousel media asset is played, if there is no advertisement parameter in the data of each column or there is an advertisement parameter in the data of a certain column, but when the server requests advertisement data, the server does not return the advertisement data, it is determined that there is no advertisement on the screen, and the carousel media asset can be played all the time.
In some embodiments, the display device may end playing the carousel media asset after the user exits the current interface provided with the carousel window.
Referring to fig. 8, a timing diagram of advertisement playing of a super screen when the carousel media asset is a picture according to some embodiments is shown in fig. 8, if advertisement parameters are detected when the carousel media asset is a picture, advertisement data may be requested from a server, and after the advertisement data is requested, the super screen advertisement may be directly played on the current interface.
In some embodiments, when the carousel asset is a picture, the carousel window is controlled to play the carousel, and meanwhile, the screen advertisement is played on the current interface because the carousel asset is not in conflict with the playing of the screen advertisement to generate player resources. Because the advertisement of the super screen is a full screen advertisement, if the background color of the advertisement of the super screen is a non-transparent color, when the advertisement of the super screen is played, the user may only watch the advertisement of the super screen and not watch the carousel media asset, and if the background color of the advertisement of the super screen is a transparent color, the image of the advertisement of the super screen may only partially shield the carousel window, and the user may still watch a partial image of the carousel media asset.
In some embodiments, when the carousel media asset is a picture, if the playing picture of the carousel media asset is non-transparent, the playing effect of the advertisement on the screen will still be affected to a certain extent, so that the carousel window can be controlled to pause playing the carousel media asset when the advertisement on the screen is played, and the effect of the advertisement on the screen is prevented from being affected by the picture change of the carousel media asset.
In some embodiments, the picture of the pause playing carousel may be a timing of pausing the display time of the current carousel asset, so as to avoid triggering automatic switching of the carousel asset after the time reaches a preset duration.
In some embodiments, before playing the advertisement on the screen, a layer for playing the advertisement on the screen may be generated above the current interface, and a picture playing control is set on the layer. The picture playing control is used for playing the second video data, namely the advertisement data, through the second playing window.
In some embodiments, the picture playing control is further configured to respond only to the exit instruction, and the layer below the second playing window does not respond to the control instruction input by the user when the second playing window plays, so that during the playing of the screen-based advertisement, the user cannot control the display interface below the screen-based advertisement except for exiting the playing, and the display interface below the screen-based advertisement is prevented from being changed to affect the playing effect of the screen-based advertisement.
In some embodiments, before playing the advertisement of the super screen, coordinate data of the carousel window may be further obtained, then an occlusion picture with a size corresponding to the coordinate data is generated, and a layer for setting the occlusion picture is added between the layer corresponding to the second video data and the current interface, so that during playing of the advertisement of the super screen, the content of the carousel window is occluded by the occlusion picture.
In some embodiments, the occlusion picture may also cover a carousel window and a column.
In some embodiments, when the carousel media asset is a picture, the current background color can be obtained, the color same as or similar to the background color is selected as the color of the shielding picture, the shielding image is set to be a solid-color picture, and the situation that the display effect of the advertisement on the screen is influenced due to the fact that the color of the shielding picture is larger than the background contrast is avoided. Of course, the color of the shielding picture can be set to be close to that of the advertisement on the screen, so that the shielding picture and the advertisement on the screen are integrated in the display effect.
In some embodiments, after the advertisement playing of the advertisement on the advertisement screen is completed, related resources and UI display of the advertisement on the advertisement screen can be cleared, so that the carousel picture played by the carousel window is not blocked, wherein clearing the UI display can refer to cancelling the layer of the advertisement on the advertisement screen on the current interface.
In some embodiments, after the advertisement playing of the advertisement on the advertisement screen is completed, the advertisement terminal service may report an advertisement playing log of the advertisement on the advertisement screen to the advertisement terminal service, so that the advertisement terminal service may record the time and frequency of playing the advertisement on the advertisement screen of the display device according to the advertisement playing log of the advertisement on the advertisement screen.
As can be seen from fig. 8, after the carousel media asset is played, if the advertisement parameter is included in the data of the column, the carousel media asset can be played while the advertisement on the screen is played according to the advertisement parameter and the advertisement data requested from the server is the picture data.
Referring to fig. 9, a timing diagram of advertisement playing on a display screen when the carousel media asset is video according to some embodiments is shown in fig. 9, if advertisement parameters are detected when the carousel media asset is video, advertisement data may be requested from a server, and after the advertisement data is requested, the advertisement on the display screen may be directly played on the current interface.
In some embodiments, when the carousel asset is a video, the carousel asset and the advertisement of the screen will play simultaneously to generate a conflict of player resources, so after the second video data is acquired from the server, the play position of the carousel asset can be recorded, and then the first play window is controlled to pause the play, and the advertisement of the screen is played on the current interface. Because the advertisement of the super screen is a full screen advertisement, if the background color of the advertisement of the super screen is a non-transparent color, when the advertisement of the super screen is played, the user may only watch the advertisement of the super screen and cannot watch the carousel media asset, and if the background color of the advertisement of the super screen is a transparent color, the image of the advertisement of the super screen may only partially block the first playing, and the user may still watch a partial image of the carousel media asset.
In some embodiments, when the carousel media asset is a video, if the playing picture of the carousel media asset is non-transparent, the playing effect of the advertisement on the screen will still be affected to a certain extent, so that an occlusion image may be generated, the occlusion image may be a solid-color picture, and when the advertisement on the screen is played, the position of the occlusion image is set to be consistent with the position of the first playing window, so that the influence of the content of the first playing window on the advertisement playing effect is reduced. The occlusion image may be the same or similar in color as the background color of the current interface.
In some embodiments, after the advertisement on the super screen is played, related resources and UI display of the advertisement on the super screen can be cleared, so that the carousel picture played by the carousel window is not blocked, wherein clearing the UI display can refer to cancelling the layer of the advertisement on the super screen on the current interface.
In some embodiments, after the advertisement on the screen is played, the carousel media asset may be played from the playing position recorded when the advertisement on the screen is paused, so that the carousel media asset continues to be played in the first playing window.
As can be seen from fig. 9, after the carousel media asset is played, if the advertisement parameter is included in the data of the column, the advertisement data requested to the server according to the advertisement parameter is video data, and the carousel media asset can be played continuously after the advertisement of the super screen is played.
Referring to fig. 10, an interface diagram of a display advertisement is shown when the display advertisement is played, in fig. 10, the background color of the display advertisement is transparent, the display advertisement is partially blocked from the carousel window, if the carousel window plays a picture, the carousel window can keep the cyclic play during the display advertisement playing process, and if the carousel window plays a video, the carousel window can pause the play during the display advertisement playing process.
Referring to fig. 11, an interface diagram of a display advertisement is shown when the display advertisement is played, in fig. 11, the background color of the display advertisement is transparent, the display advertisement is partially blocked from the carousel window, if the carousel window plays a picture, the carousel window can keep the cyclic play during the display advertisement playing process, and if the carousel window plays a video, the carousel window can pause the play during the display advertisement playing process. In fig. 11, a picture is superimposed on the carousel window, and the layer of the picture is located between the layer of the advertisement on the screen and the layer of the carousel window, so that the carousel window can be shielded, and the playing effect of the advertisement on the screen is ensured.
In some embodiments, the color of the picture superimposed at the carousel window may be a color within a preset color difference range with the background color of the current interface, and the preset color difference range may be determined according to the actual situation.
In some embodiments, the color of the picture superimposed at the carousel window may be a color within a preset color difference range from the background color of the advertisement, occluding the media window.
Referring to fig. 12, an interface diagram of a display advertisement is shown when the display advertisement is played, in fig. 12, the background color of the display advertisement is non-transparent, the display advertisement covers the entire carousel window, if the carousel window plays a picture, the carousel window can keep the cyclic play during the display advertisement playing, and if the carousel window plays a video, the carousel window can pause the play during the display advertisement playing. The content of the carousel window does not influence the playing effect of the advertisement on the screen.
In some embodiments, after the advertisement on the super screen is played, player resources occupied by the advertisement on the super screen during playing and UI display of the advertisement on the super screen can be cleared, and the carousel window is controlled to continue playing carousel video.
In some embodiments, when the carousel SDK calls the player resource to play the advertisement of the screen, the situation that the advertisement of the screen fails to play may occur due to some anomalies, at this time, the player resource occupied by the advertisement of the screen during playing and the UI display of the advertisement of the screen may be cleared, the carousel window is controlled to continue playing the carousel video, and the display device is prevented from being blocked due to the failure of playing the advertisement of the screen.
According to the embodiment of the application, if the current page has the media window for playing the video during the advertisement playing, the media window is paused to play, so that the situation that the playing of the advertisement conflicts with the resource calling of the player caused by the playing of the media window is avoided, the problems of black screen, blocking and the like of the display equipment during the playing of the advertisement are solved, and the advertisement playing effect and the user experience are improved.
