危险裂片减少的可折叠覆盖制品
技术领域
本发明涉及一种可折叠覆盖制品,其用于显示器的衬底或盖片、易碎传感器、指纹传感器模块或薄膜电池、半导体封装或可折叠显示器中的应用。
背景技术
近来,随着技术的发展,逐渐使用玻璃作为诸如电视、手机等消费设备的覆盖制品,这是由于玻璃具有透明性质、重量轻、韧性增强等特性。光学透明性和热稳定性常常是柔性显示器应用的重要性质。此外,柔性显示器、特别是具有触屏功能和/或可折叠的柔性显示器应具有高抗疲劳性和高耐刺穿性,包括在小弯曲半径下的抗破坏性。
常规的柔性玻璃材料为柔性衬底和/或显示器应用提供了许多所需的性质。然而,迄今为止,将玻璃材料用于这些应用的努力基本上都没有成功。一般地,玻璃衬底可以制造成厚度很低的水平(<25μm)以实现越来越小的弯曲半径,但这些“薄”玻璃衬底的耐刺穿性有限。同时,可以制造更厚的(>150μm)且耐刺穿性更好的玻璃衬底,但这些衬底在弯曲时缺乏适当的耐疲劳性和机械可靠性。
此外,由于审美观点的缘故,要求覆盖制品可折叠成圆顶形或弧形。用于可折叠电子设备应用的可折叠玻璃衬底虽然在透明度、稳定性和耐磨性方面优于聚合物箔,但是可能受限于抗冲击性。更特别地,当受到冲击或弯曲时,所述可折叠玻璃衬底的抗冲击性的问题可表现为对衬底和/或下层电子部件的损坏。
现有技术中的由玻璃制成的可折叠覆盖制品一般是化学钢化的。然而,当化学钢化的可折叠玻璃断裂时,储存的拉伸能量主要通过裂纹和裂片消散,这可能对用户造成损害或伤害。原因是由裂纹产生的新的表面能量非常有限且裂片似乎不可避免,因此需要减少断裂时的裂片。已经发现,用于在断裂过程中消散所释放的拉伸能量的有效方法是引入另一种材料,即聚合物。那么,可以通过聚合物薄膜的分层、位于力集中区域周围的聚合物薄膜的塑性变形、位于小玻璃碎片之间的聚合物薄膜的粘弹性变形等消散所述拉伸能量。但是,典型聚合物的硬度很低。因此,需要提供一种具有足够硬度的可折叠覆盖制品以防止刮擦。随后,提出了引入硬质材料涂层来增加可折叠覆盖制品的硬度。然而,当达到小弯曲半径时,柔性可能会成为所述硬质材料涂层的一个问题。总之,聚合物层和硬质涂层的厚度对于柔性和机械性能来说都是非常重要的。当达到小弯曲半径时,厚度小则不能提供足够的保护或接合以耗散所释放的拉伸能量;厚度大则能引起大应变并导致硬质涂层破坏。因此,需要提供一种具有足够的硬度和柔性的可折叠覆盖制品,其还能减少由于弯曲或冲击而断裂时产生的裂片。
发明内容
本发明的一个目的在于提供一种主要由玻璃衬底制成的可折叠覆盖制品,其减少了由于弯曲或冲击而断裂时产生的裂片。
本发明的另一个目的在于提供施加到所述玻璃衬底上的优化的聚合物层/硬质涂层,以在保持或甚至改善超薄柔性显示器盖片的所需机械性质(例如柔性)的同时,控制所述可折叠覆盖制品的脆性。
以上目的通过以下技术方案实现。
一方面,本发明提供了一种可折叠覆盖制品,其总厚度t≤300μm、优选t≤250μm、更优选t≤200μm、特别是t≤150μm、特别优选t≤100μm、特别更优选t≤85μm、最优选t≤70μm、50μm、40μm、30μm、20μm、10μm,或在以这些值中的任意两个值为端点的范围内。例如,所述可折叠覆盖制品的厚度t可以在300μm至10μm、300μm至20μm、或300μm至30μm、或300μm至40μm、或300μm至50μm、或300μm至70μm、或300μm至85μm、或300μm至100μm、或300μm至150μm、或300μm至200μm、或300μm至250μm、或250μm至10μm、或200μm至10μm、或150μm至10μm、或100μm至10μm、或85μm至10μm、或70μm至10μm、或50μm至10μm、或40μm至10μm、或30μm至10μm、或20μm至10μm的范围内。所述可折叠覆盖制品可弯曲至最小弯曲半径r≤20mm、优选r≤15mm、更优选r≤10mm、特别是r≤8mm、特别优选r≤6mm、特别更优选r≤5mm、最优选r≤4mm、3mm、2mm或1.5mm而不断裂,且其铅笔硬度HR≥HB。所述可折叠覆盖制品包括厚度为5μm≤t1≤150μm的玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底;和总厚度为5μm≤t2≤150μm的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层。对于每20mm宽度的所述可折叠覆盖制品,当所述可折叠覆盖制品由于沿垂直于所述宽度的方向弯曲而断裂时,最长线性拉伸为L≥5mm的裂片的数量小于10个、优选小于8个、更优选小于6个、特别是小于5个、特别更优选小于4个并且最优选小于3个;和/或最长线性拉伸为L<5mm的裂片的数量小于50个、优选小于40个、更优选小于30个、特别是小于25个、特别更优选小于20个并且最优选小于15个。
本发明的发明人发现,与玻璃相比,由于聚合物层的杨氏模量较低,因此在弯曲过程中所述聚合物层将使中性面偏移并导致最外层产生较大应变。为了保持柔性又大大减少来自所述可折叠覆盖制品的化学钢化的超薄玻璃的危险裂片,所述可折叠覆盖制品的典型厚度为t≤300μm、优选t≤250μm、更优选t≤200μm、特别是t≤150μm、特别优选t≤100μm、特别更优选t≤85μm、最优选t≤70μm、50μm、40μm、30μm、20μm,或在以这些值中的任意两个值为端点的范围内。例如,所述可折叠覆盖制品的厚度t可以在300μm至10μm、300μm至20μm、或300μm至30μm、或300μm至40μm、或300μm至50μm、或300μm至70μm、或300μm至85μm、或300μm至100μm、或300μm至150μm、或300μm至200μm、或300μm至250μm、或250μm至10μm、或200μm至10μm、或150μm至10μm、或100μm至10μm、或85μm至10μm、或70μm至10μm、或50μm至10μm、或40μm至10μm、或30μm至10μm、或20μm至10μm的范围内。所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底的厚度t1应为5μm≤t1≤150μm,所述聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的总厚度应为5μm≤t2≤150μm。
如果没有聚合物层,那么在弯曲过程中位于断裂源周围的超薄玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底的10mm×20mm的区域可能断裂成数十个以上的单独碎片;但是,使用本发明提出的聚合物层/硬质涂层可以降低玻璃的脆性并使断裂后单独碎片的数量大大减少至仅有几个碎片。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底是钢化的且其以毫米为单位的最小弯曲半径为r1≤100000×t1/CS、优选r1≤80000×t1/CS、更优选r1≤70000×t1/CS、最优选r1≤60000×t1/CS,其中CS为在所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底的两个表面上测量的以MPa为单位的压缩应力。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底的中心张力为CT≤700MPa、优选CT≤500MPa、更优选CT≤300MPa、特别优选CT≤100MPa、最优选CT≤50MPa,其中CT为在所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底的中间面上的以MPa为单位的中心张力。
惊奇地发现,如果所述玻璃衬底是化学钢化的,那么所述可折叠覆盖衬底的断裂行为受离子交换深度DoL和离子交换过程中产生的中心张力CT的影响。在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底是化学钢化的,且其离子交换层的深度为DoL≥1μm、优选DoL≥2μm、更优选DoL≥3μm,和/或DoL≤t1/2、优选DoL≤30μm、更优选DoL≤20μm。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底的两点弯曲强度为BS≥700MPa、优选BS≥800MPa、更优选BS≥1000MPa、最优选BS≥1200MPa。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,对于每20mm宽度的所述可折叠覆盖制品,当所述可折叠覆盖制品由于沿垂直于所述宽度的方向弯曲而断裂时,最长线性拉伸为L≥5mm的裂片的数量小于10个、优选小于8个、更优选小于6个、特别是小于5个、特别更优选小于4个并且最优选小于3个,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凸面上。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,对于每20mm宽度的所述可折叠覆盖制品,当所述可折叠覆盖制品由于沿垂直于所述宽度的方向弯曲而断裂时,最长线性拉伸为L<5mm的裂片的数量小于50个、优选小于45个、更优选小于40个、特别是小于35个、特别更优选小于30个并且最优选小于20个,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凸面上。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,将所述折叠覆盖制品放置在半径为4cm的聚丙烯半环的凹面上,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凸面上,然后使用圆珠直径为0.7mm、重量为6g的圆珠笔从25cm的高度击中,整个所述制品在试验后仍为一体。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,对于所述可折叠覆盖制品的20mm×70mm的样品,将所述可折叠覆盖制品放置在半径为2.8cm的不锈钢圆筒上,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凹面上,然后使用圆珠直径为0.7mm、重量为6g的圆珠笔从10cm的高度击中,由小裂片导致的重量损失量小于10%、优选小于9%、更优选小于8%、特别是小于7%、特别优选小于6%、最优选小于5%。
在本发明的进一步优选实施例中,将所述可折叠覆盖制品平放在大理石平台上,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面朝下,然后使用32.5g的不锈钢球从40cm的高度击中,整个所述制品仍为一体。

图1a至图1j示出了根据本发明的可折叠覆盖制品和现有技术中用于比较目的的可折叠覆盖制品的横截面图。下面介绍根据本发明的示例和比较例。在以下示例中,玻璃衬底为超薄玻璃(UTG),其可在市场上买到,品牌为德国肖特集团(SCHOTT AG)生产的杨氏模量为73.3GPa且铅笔硬度为9H的AS87 eco铝硅酸盐玻璃。需注意的是,所述玻璃衬底可以由不同的玻璃,例如硅酸盐玻璃、钠钙玻璃、硼硅酸盐玻璃等制成。

示例1

Claims (22)

1.一种可折叠覆盖制品,其总厚度为t≤300μm、优选t≤250μm、更优选t≤200μm、特别是t≤150μm、特别优选t≤100μm、特别更优选t≤85μm、最优选t≤70μm、50μm、40μm、30μm、20μm或10μm,所述可折叠覆盖制品可弯曲至最小弯曲半径为r≤20mm、优选r≤15mm、更优选r≤10mm、特别是r≤8mm、特别优选r≤6mm、特别更优选r≤5mm、最优选r≤4mm、3mm、2mm或1.5mm而不断裂,并且其铅笔硬度为HR≥HB,所述可折叠覆盖制品包括:
厚度为5μm≤t1≤150μm的玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底;和
总厚度为5μm≤t2≤150μm的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层;
其中,对于每20mm宽度的所述可折叠覆盖制品,当所述可折叠覆盖制品由于沿着垂直于所述宽度的方向弯曲而断裂时,
a)最长线性拉伸L≥5mm的裂片的数量小于10个、优选小于8个、更优选小于6个、特别是小于5个、特别更优选小于4个并且最优选小于3个;和/或
b)最长线性拉伸L<5mm的裂片的数量小于50个、优选小于40个、更优选小于30个、特别是小于25个、特别更优选小于20个并且最优选小于15个。
2.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底是钢化的,并且其以毫米为单位计的最小弯曲半径r1为r1≤100000×t1/CS、优选r1≤80000×t1/CS、更优选r1≤70000×t1/CS、最优选r1≤60000×t1/CS,其中CS为在所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底的两个表面上测量的以MPa为单位计的压缩应力。

6.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,对于每20mm宽度的所述可折叠覆盖制品,当所述可折叠覆盖制品由于沿着垂直于所述宽度的方向弯曲而断裂时,最长线性拉伸L≥5mm的裂片的数量小于10个、优选小于8个、更优选小于6个、特别是小于5个、特别更优选小于4个并且最优选小于3个,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凸面上。
7.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,对于每20mm宽度的所述可折叠覆盖制品,当所述可折叠覆盖制品由于沿着垂直于所述宽度的方向弯曲而断裂时,最长线性拉伸L<5mm的裂片的数量小于50个、优选小于45个、更优选小于40个、特别是小于35个、特别更优选小于30个并且最优选小于20个,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凸面上。
8.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,将所述折叠覆盖制品放置在半径为4cm的聚丙烯半环的凹面上,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凸面上,然后使用圆珠直径为0.07mm、重量为6g的圆珠笔从25cm的高度击中,整个所述制品在试验后仍为一体。
9.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,对于所述可折叠覆盖制品的20mm×70mm的样品,将所述可折叠覆盖制品放置在半径为2.8cm的不锈钢圆筒上,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面位于凹面上,然后使用圆珠直径为0.7mm、重量为6g的圆珠笔从10cm的高度击中,由小裂片导致的重量损失量小于10%、优选小于9%、更优选小于8%、特别是小于7%、特别优选小于6%、最优选小于5%。
10.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,将所述可折叠覆盖制品平放在大理石平台上,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面朝下,然后使用32.5g的不锈钢球从40cm的高度击中,整个所述制品仍为一体。
11.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底与一个或多个聚合物层层叠,一个或多个聚合物层的总厚度为t3p≥1μm、优选t3p≥5μm、更优选t3p≥10μm、特别优选为t3p≥20μm、最优选为t3p≥40μm,和/或t3p≤150μm。

16.根据权利要求14和15中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述一个或多个硬质材料涂层由以下材料制成:有机聚合物材料,例如丙烯酸酯及其改性形式,或无机-有机杂化聚合物材料,例如聚硅氧烷及其改性形式、含有无机纳米粒子的PMMA;环氧-硅氧烷杂化物。
17.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述可折叠覆盖制品在层叠有所述聚合物层和/或所述硬质材料涂层的一面上的铅笔硬度小于8H。
18.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述可折叠覆盖制品的断裂高度Ha≥Hg×2、优选Ha≥Hg×3、更优选Ha≥Hg×4、进一步优选Ha≥Hg×5、进一步优选Ha≥Hg×6、进一步优选Ha≥Hg×7、进一步优选Ha≥Hg×8、特别优选Ha≥Hg×9、最优选Ha≥Hg×10,其中Hg为所述玻璃衬底的断裂高度,并且该断裂高度是在落笔试验中确定的,其中将所述可折叠制品放置在由25μm的OCA、50μm的PET、25μm的OCA、50μm的PET和30cm的大理石由上至下组成的平台上,其中所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底面或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面朝下并与所述平台的顶部的OCA层接合,并且所述笔为圆珠直径为0.5mm、重量为13g的圆珠笔。
19.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述可折叠覆盖制品的断裂力Fab≥2Fgb、优选Fab≥5Fgb、更优选Fab≥10Fgb、进一步优选Fab≥20Fgb、进一步优选Fab≥40Fgb、进一步优选Fab≥60Fgb、特别优选Fab≥80Fgb、最优选Fab≥100Fgb,其中Fgb为所述玻璃衬底的断裂力,并且所述断裂力是在P180砂纸的下压试验中确定的,其中将所述可折叠制品的所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底面或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面放置在钢板上,通过直径为3mm的钢条在其平坦的正面对所述可折叠覆盖制品的另一面施加载荷直至断裂,其中P180型的砂纸附在所述钢条的平坦的正面上,且所述砂纸的研磨面与所述可折叠覆盖制品的顶面相接触。
20.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述可折叠覆盖制品的断裂高度至少为所述玻璃衬底的断裂力乘以2、优选乘以5、更优选乘以10、进一步优选乘以20、特别优选乘以50、特别更优选乘以100、特别进一步优选乘以150、最优选乘以200,其中所述断裂高度是在砂纸球下落试验中确定的,其中将所述玻璃制品的玻璃面或具有较薄的聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层的一面放置在钢板上,通过4.5g的亚克力球从上方下落对所述玻璃制品的另一面施加载荷直至断裂,其中P180型砂纸放置在所述可折叠覆盖制品的顶面上,并且所述砂纸的研磨面与所述可折叠覆盖制品的顶面相接触。
21.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品,其特征在于,所述玻璃或玻璃-陶瓷衬底完全被所述聚合物层和/或硬质材料涂层包封。
22.根据前述权利要求中的任一项所述的可折叠覆盖制品在显示器的衬底或盖片、易碎传感器、指纹传感器模块的衬底或盖片、半导体封装、薄膜电池的衬底或盖片、可折叠显示器的应用中的用途。
