Description

Bobbin supply device for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins
The invention relates to a bobbin supplying device for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins, which has a plurality of stations arranged next to one another and empty bobbin conveyor belts in the two longitudinal side regions of the machine and is equipped with a bobbin storage device preferably located at the end of the machine.
Various embodiments of a bobbin supply device for textile machines producing cross-wound bobbins have been known for a long time and are described in detail in sections in numerous patent applications.
A bobbin supply device for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins is known, for example, from DE3241032C2, which is provided with a bobbin magazine which is connected to a workstation of the textile machine by a bobbin loading device. The bobbin magazine is provided with a plurality of side-by-side storage columns equipped with bobbin receiving mandrels for empty bobbins and a bobbin pusher designed such that it serves all the conveying chains simultaneously during operation. In this known device, the spool pusher always transfers all empty spools of the conveyor chain, which are located at a certain height, together to the downstream trough belt.
DE19905856a1 describes an open-end rotor spinning machine which has a plurality of stations between its end frames on both machine longitudinal sides and is provided with a central bobbin magazine arranged on the machine end side. The workstations of the textile machine are connected to a central bobbin magazine by an empty bobbin transport device, which, as is known, has a plurality of side-by-side storage columns equipped with receiving mandrels. The empty tubes are stored in a tip-oriented manner on the receiving mandrels of the storage rows, which are connected by a shaft and can be driven by means of the same motor. During operation, a part of the receiving mandrels can be respectively positioned at a certain height and the empty bobbins stored on the mandrels can be transferred to a downstream grooved belt by means of a bobbin pusher, which then in turn conveys the empty bobbins to a bobbin transfer position or a bobbin deflection mechanism.
The bobbin pusher is also designed here such that all the conveyor chains of the bobbin magazine are always operated simultaneously, i.e. the bobbin pusher always transfers all the empty bobbins of the conveyor chains at a certain height to a downstream trough belt, which, as described above, is connected to the empty bobbin conveyor belt along the length of the machine by means of a bobbin deflection mechanism or a bobbin transfer location.
The empty bobbins are then transported as required by means of the empty bobbin conveyor belt to a service unit located in the area of the station requiring new empty bobbins. The service unit then switches the required empty bobbin to the relevant station.
Although it is possible to supply stations arranged on both machine longitudinal sides of a free-end rotor spinning machine with tip-oriented empty bobbins using such a bobbin supplying device, the known bobbin supplying devices are somewhat error-prone, in particular, due to the structure of the bobbin magazine. That is, if there are difficulties in the bobbin magazine area, the supply of empty bobbins to the stations on both machine sides is immediately adversely affected.
Furthermore, in connection with textile machines which produce cross-wound bobbins, an empty bobbin magazine is actually disclosed which also has a plurality of storage columns which are equipped with bobbin receiving spindles and which can be driven by means of individual electric motors. For example, the magazine has 12 storage rows arranged next to one another, wherein each of the storage rows 1 to 4, 5 to 7, 8 to 10 and 11 and 12 is equipped with its own drive. Furthermore, this known bobbin magazine is provided with a bobbin trolley which is movable transversely along the storage row and which is equipped with a movable bobbin clamp.
In this known device, the bobbin trolley itself is positioned on one of the storage columns, grips the requested empty bobbin with its bobbin gripper and transfers it in a tip-oriented manner to an empty bobbin transport device along the length of the machine, which transports the empty bobbin to the requesting station.
With such a bobbin magazine, which is operated by means of a bobbin carriage equipped with a bobbin clamp, a good supply of workstations provided on both machine sides of the textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins can generally be achieved at least during "normal" operation.
However, in the event of a failure of the bobbin magazine or bobbin trolley, the supply of all stations on both machine sides immediately faces a great risk. This means that in this case the bobbin supply of the entire textile machine is immediately interrupted, which adversely affects the overall efficiency of the textile machine.
In view of the prior art described above, the present invention is based on the object of modifying a bobbin supply device for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins, which has a plurality of workstations on both machine longitudinal sides and is equipped with a bobbin storage device having at least two bobbin magazines, so that even in the event of failure of one of the bobbin magazines, an orderly supply of all the workstations of the textile machine is always ensured.
According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the bobbin storage device is provided with at least two bobbin banks which are connected to the empty bobbin conveyor belt by means of a bobbin dispensing device, so that empty bobbins can be supplied to the workstations of the textile machine in an orderly manner from each of the two bobbin banks as required.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are the subject matter of the dependent claims. The inventive design of the bobbin supplying device with a bobbin storage device and a bobbin dispensing device, in which the bobbin storage device has two bobbin banks which can be operated independently of one another and by means of which the two bobbin banks are connected in a functional manner to two empty bobbin conveyor belts of the textile machine, has the particular advantage that it can be ensured by this design that the supply of empty bobbins to a workstation of the textile machine is substantially ensured even in the event of a failure of one of the two bobbin banks. That is, when one of the magazine fails due to a malfunction, the remaining magazine immediately takes over the supply of all the stations of the textile machine, as a result of which all the stations of the textile machine can continue to operate in order.
In a first advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the bobbin dispensing device comprises a bobbin longitudinal conveyor belt and a reversibly drivable bobbin transverse conveyor belt which is in contact with an empty bobbin conveyor belt of the textile machine.
The bobbin longitudinal conveyor belt is loaded with empty bobbins as required, for example by means of a bobbin stripper arranged in the bobbin stock area. Each magazine is preferably equipped with at least one bobbin stripper, which transfers the empty bobbins stored in the associated magazine to the bobbin longitudinal conveyor belt as required.
Of course, each magazine can also be equipped with a plurality of individually controllable bobbin strippers, which has the advantage that the requested empty bobbin can be transferred from the bobbin receiving mandrel of the respective magazine to the bobbin longitudinal conveyor belt and from there to the downstream bobbin transverse conveyor belt immediately without delay, i.e. without first waiting for a movable bobbin stripper, by means of the bobbin strippers.
The reversibly drivable bobbin cross conveyor then immediately conveys the empty bobbin to the empty bobbin conveyor along the length of the machine, the station requesting the empty bobbin being located at the empty bobbin conveyor.
In a further advantageous embodiment, for example, it is provided that each empty bobbin storage column of the bobbin magazine has its own bobbin stripper which can be controlled as required. With the bobbin magazine thus provided, an optimum supply of empty bobbins to the workstations of a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins can be ensured, but the construction costs are not insignificant.
However, instead of the above-described bobbin dispensing device operating with one or more bobbin strippers, a bobbin dispensing device having at least two bobbin carriages may also be employed.
The first bobbin carriage is assigned to the left-hand bobbin magazine, for example, while the second bobbin carriage is responsible for the right-hand bobbin magazine during the normal spinning operation. However, the two spool carriages are preferably designed such that the first spool carriage can also take empty spools from the right-hand spool store if required, for example in the event of a failure in one of the spool stores, and the second spool carriage can correspondingly process empty spools from the left-hand spool store and can transfer them to the empty spool transverse conveyor.
In an advantageous embodiment, each bobbin carriage is provided with a movably mounted bobbin clamp and is movably mounted on the rail structure.
The rail structure is mounted between the bobbin banks and has two rail beams arranged at the same height, or the rail structure is arranged in the area between the end frame of the textile machine and the bobbin banks. In this case, the rail structure preferably has two rail beams extending at different heights.
The advantage of both embodiments is that if one of the two spool carriages fails, the remaining spool carriage can smoothly handle the empty spools of both spool stores. In other words, the still active bobbin trolley can transfer empty bobbins taken from one of the bobbin magazines to the empty bobbin conveyor belt, as required, at which the station requesting the empty bobbin is located.
Further details of the invention can be taken from the following examples, which are explained in connection with the figures, wherein:
FIG. 1 shows a schematic top view of a first embodiment of a bobbin supplying device of a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins, having a bobbin magazine which is arranged on the machine end side and is oriented in the machine longitudinal direction, and a bobbin dispensing device which is arranged in the region of the bobbin magazine and by means of which empty bobbins stored in the bobbin magazine can be transferred to an empty bobbin conveyor belt which is arranged on the machine longitudinal side, wherein the bobbin dispensing device in turn has a central bobbin longitudinal transport light strip and a bobbin transverse transport belt,
fig. 2 shows a modification of the bobbin supplying device shown in fig. 1, in which instead of a central bobbin longitudinal conveyor at least two bobbin carriages each equipped with a movable bobbin clamp are used,
FIG. 3 shows a further embodiment of a bobbin supplying device of a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins, with a bobbin magazine arranged on the machine end side but oriented in the cross-machine direction and a bobbin dispensing device arranged in the region of the bobbin magazine and having at least two bobbin trolleys each equipped with a movable bobbin clamp,
fig. 4 shows a section a-a according to fig. 3, at the machine end, a bobbin magazine which can be arranged transversely to the longitudinal axis of the open-end rotor spinning machine, and an associated bobbin dispensing device, each having a bobbin carriage which is equipped with a movable bobbin clamp.
Fig. 1 to 4 show various embodiments of a bobbin supply device 23 for a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins.
Such a spinning machine, which is designed, for example, as an open-end rotor spinning machine 1, has, as is known and as is shown schematically in fig. 1 to 3, between its end frames 4, a plurality of work stations 5 which are arranged next to one another on both machine-longitudinal sides of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 and are each provided with a spinning device and a downstream winding device.
Such open-end rotor spinning machines 1 are generally also equipped with a cross-wound bobbin transport device 8, i.e. such a textile machine has two conveyor belts 9 arranged between its workstations 5 along the machine length for transporting away the finished cross-wound bobbins 6. Furthermore, such open-end rotor spinning machines 1 are usually equipped with an empty bobbin conveyor belt 21 for supplying new empty bobbins 7, preferably also along the machine length, which is arranged above or before the station 5.
The empty bobbins 7 provided on the empty bobbin conveyor belt 21 are transferred to the working station 5 during the spinning/winding operation by means of a service unit 10, which is movably mounted, for example, on a rail structure 11. That is, the service aggregate 10, generally a so-called change and removal trolley, intervenes when there is a service situation at one of the workstations 5. This service situation occurs, for example, when the crosswound bobbin 6 has reached its predetermined diameter at one of the stations 5 and a new empty bobbin 7 must be replaced.
As shown in fig. 1, the bobbin supplying device 23 of the present invention has two bobbin storehouses 3A provided on the machine end side in the machine longitudinal direction in the first embodiment, and the bobbin storehouses are in contact with the empty bobbin conveying belt 21 by the bobbin distributing device 2A.
The cartridge magazine 3A is here, as is also known, provided with a plurality of respective empty cartridge supply lines 12, which in turn are provided with a plurality of respective cartridge receiving mandrels 15, on which one respective empty cartridge 7 is stored in a tip-oriented manner. The empty bobbin transport trains 12 can in each case be driven individually by an individual motor drive 13 or jointly by a common motor (not shown). The motor drive is connected to the machine control 14 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 via a control line 22.
As shown in fig. 1, the bobbin dispensing device 2A provided in the area of the bobbin storage 3A includes, for example, a longitudinal bobbin conveying belt 24 provided between the bobbin storage 3A and a lateral bobbin conveying belt 17 that can be driven reversibly.
In this embodiment, the empty bobbins 7 arranged on the bobbin receiving mandrels 15 of the empty bobbin transport row 12 of the bobbin magazine 3A are transferred as required, for example by means of a (not shown) bobbin pusher, to the bobbin longitudinal conveyor belt 24 of the bobbin dispensing device 2A, so that the empty bobbins 7 are subsequently transferred to the bobbin transverse conveyor belt 17. The bobbin cross conveyor 17, which is adjustable in its conveying direction as required, then conveys the empty bobbins 7 to an empty bobbin conveyor 21, at which the stations 5 that have requested the empty bobbins 7 are located.
Various embodiments are known in the art with regard to the design and function of such a bobbin pusher. For example, it is known to provide each empty bobbin transport train 12 of the bobbin magazine 3A with its own individually controllable bobbin pusher. Furthermore, it is known to use a movable bobbin pusher in each case in the area of the bobbin magazine.
Such a movable bobbin pusher, as described in DE19512891a1, for example, can be positioned in a defined manner in relation to the empty bobbin transport train 12 of the bobbin magazine 3A.
The embodiment shown in fig. 2 differs from the embodiment according to fig. 1 primarily in that the bobbin dispensing device 2A has at least two bobbin carriages 16, instead of the longitudinal bobbin conveyor belt 24 loaded by means of a bobbin pusher, each of which is assigned to one of the bobbin magazines 3A and is arranged on a rail structure 20 provided between the bobbin magazines 3A. The bobbin carriages 16 are each equipped with a movable bobbin clamp 18, as shown in fig. 4. The bobbin carriage 16, which is mounted so as to be movable and is assigned to one of the two bobbin banks 3A, takes an empty bobbin 7, as required, with its bobbin gripper 18, from the bobbin receiving mandrel 15 of the empty bobbin transport row 12 of its bobbin bank 3A and transfers the empty bobbin 7 taken off to the bobbin transverse conveyor 17. The bobbin cross conveyor 17 then conveys the empty bobbins 7 as required to an empty bobbin conveyor belt 21, which leads to the station 5 that has requested an empty bobbin 7. However, the device is designed such that, if required, for example, in the event of a failure of one of the spool carriages 16, the remaining spool carriages 16 can also handle the empty spools 7 of the spool magazine 3A, which were originally assigned to the failed spool carriage 16. That is, the two bobbin carriages 16 can handle the empty bobbins 7 of the two bobbin banks 3A as necessary.
According to another alternative embodiment, as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 is equipped with a bobbin supplying device 23 having two bobbin banks 3B provided on the machine end side in the cross machine direction, the bobbin dispensing device 2B being in contact with the bobbin banks.
By means of the bobbin dispensing device 2B, the bobbin magazine 3B is connected to two empty bobbin conveyor belts 21 provided in the machine longitudinal side areas along the machine length. That is, in the region between the end frame 4 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 and the two bobbin banks 3B arranged in the cross-machine direction, a rail structure 20 is mounted on which at least two bobbin carriages 16 equipped with movable bobbin clamps 18 are movably mounted. The rail arrangement 20 has two rails arranged at different heights, wherein one spool carriage 16 can be moved on each rail.
The bobbin carriage 16 moving on the upper rail now serves, for example, the upper bobbin magazine 3B according to the view of fig. 3 and transfers its empty bobbins 7 to the associated upper empty bobbin conveyor belt 21. Correspondingly, the lower, empty bobbin conveyor belt 21 is supplied by the bobbin trolley 16 moving on the lower track.
However, the rail structure 20 is designed and the bobbin carriage 16 is configured such that, for example, the bobbin carriage 16 mounted on the upper rail can also transfer an empty bobbin 7 from the bobbin magazine 3B associated with the lower bobbin carriage 16 to the upper empty bobbin conveyor belt 21, if required. The same applies to the bobbin trolley 16, which is arranged on the lower rail and transfers the empty bobbins 7, which are removed from the lower bobbin magazine 3B, to the lower empty bobbin conveyor belt 21 during normal spinning operation. The bobbin carriage 16 can also transfer the empty bobbins 7 from the bobbin magazine 3B associated with the upper bobbin carriage 16 to the empty bobbin conveyor belt 21 on the underside as required.
Fig. 4 shows a partial section through a bobbin supply device 23 arranged in the end region of a textile machine 1 which produces crosswound bobbins. The bobbin supplying device 23 designed according to the exemplary embodiment of fig. 3 has two bobbin banks 3B arranged transversely to the machine longitudinal direction of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 and an associated bobbin dispensing device 2B. As can be seen, the bobbin magazine 3B is arranged next to the end frame 4 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 and has in each case an empty bobbin transport row 12, which is equipped in each case, as is customary, with a plurality of bobbin receiving mandrels 15 for storing empty bobbins 7. A large number, for example 12, empty bobbin transport trains 12 of each of the two bobbin banks 3B are arranged one after the other according to the viewing direction of fig. 4. The driving of the large number of empty bobbin transport trains 12 takes place here by means of individual drives 13, which are connected via control lines 22 to the machine control 14 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 or by means of a common drive.
As can also be seen, the bobbin dispensing device 2B installed in the region of the bobbin magazine 3B is provided with at least two bobbin carriages 16 which are movable on a rail structure 20, wherein the rail structure 20 preferably has two rails arranged at different heights. The spool carriages 16, which are mounted so as to be movable at different heights, each have a rotatably mounted spool clamp 18.
By means of the bobbin supplying device 23, which is designed according to the invention and has at least two bobbin banks 3 arranged on the machine end side and an associated bobbin dispensing device 2, all stations 5 of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 are always supplied with new empty bobbins 7 in an orderly manner. That is, for example, when one of the two bobbin banks 3 fails, the empty bobbin 7 can be smoothly distributed from the intact bobbin bank 3 to the damaged empty bobbin conveyer belt 21 of the free-end rotor spinning machine 1 from the bobbin bank 3 to which the empty bobbin conveyer belt belongs by the bobbin distributing device 2. That is, with the bobbin supplying device 23 designed according to the present invention, it is always ensured that all the stations 5 of the textile machine can be sufficiently supplied with empty bobbins 7.
The device function is explained in connection with the embodiment of fig. 2:
before each start of operation of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1, two machine-side bobbin magazines 3A are loaded first. That is, the large number of empty bobbin transfer lines 12 of the bobbin magazine 3 are loaded with the empty bobbins 7 before the spinning operation is started.
In a fault-free spinning operation, when the cross-wound bobbin 6 to be produced has reached its aforementioned diameter at one of the stations 5 and must be replaced by a new empty bobbin 7 as quickly as possible, the cross-wound bobbin/empty bobbin replacement is initiated by the control device of the respective station 5. That is, a service aggregate 10, for example a replacement cleaning trolley, is requested, which is then moved to the relevant station 5 and locked there. The finished cross-wound bobbins 6 are then transferred by the service unit 10 to a cross-wound bobbin conveyor 8 arranged downstream of the working station 5 and from there to a bobbin transfer station arranged on the machine end side. At the same time, a new empty bobbin 7 is requested from the associated bobbin magazine 3A by the service unit 10 or the associated workstation 5.
When the open-end rotor spinning machine is operating without any faults, the associated bobbin magazine is the bobbin magazine 3A located on the machine side, on which the associated work station is also arranged.
When the relevant station 5 is arranged, for example, in the left machine longitudinal side region, the left magazine 3A provided on the machine side is also started. In the associated bobbin magazine 3A, at least one of the empty bobbin transport trains 12 is positioned in such a way that the empty bobbin 7 can be handled by the bobbin dispensing device 2A.
The bobbin dispensing device 2A, which is composed of at least two bobbin carriages 16 which are mounted so as to be movable on a rail structure 20 along the empty bobbin transport train 12 of the bobbin stock 3A and are each equipped with a movable bobbin clamp 18, positions the left-hand bobbin carriage 16 in the region of the associated, in the exemplary embodiment, left-hand bobbin stock 3A. The left-hand bobbin carriage 16 then grips with its bobbin gripper 18 the empty bobbin 7 of the relevant empty bobbin transport column 12 of the left-hand bobbin magazine 3A and transfers the received empty bobbin 7 to the bobbin transverse conveyor 17, which then conveys the empty bobbin 7 as required to the left-hand empty bobbin conveyor 21, which conveys the empty bobbin 7 further in a tip-oriented manner to the requested station 5. That is, the empty bobbin 7 is fed by means of the left-hand empty bobbin conveyor belt 21 to the relevant station 5, is received there by the servicing unit 10 and is inserted into the creel of the station 5.
However, if a fault occurs during the spinning operation of the open-end rotor spinning machine 1 or during the exchange of cross-wound bobbins/empty bobbins, for example because one of the two bobbin banks 3A and/or one of the two bobbin trolleys 16 is/are in any case troublesome, in the bobbin supplying device 23 according to the invention the operation of receiving and transferring empty bobbins is automatically taken over by the remaining intact device. That is, when, for example, the station 5 provided on the left-hand machine side requests an empty bobbin 7, but the associated left-hand magazine 3A is stopped, the associated left-hand magazine trolley 16 simply receives the requested empty bobbin 7 from the right-hand magazine 3A and places it on the bobbin transverse conveyor 17, which then feeds the empty bobbin 7 to the left-hand empty bobbin conveyor 21, where the station 5 requesting the empty bobbin 7 is located.
The situation is similar when one of the two spool carts 16 is shut down. In this case, the remaining intact bobbin carriages 16 also take over the work.
Once the cross-wound bobbin/empty bobbin exchange cycle at a station 5 has ended, the spinning process is restarted at the relevant station 5.
