Abstract

Description

资金交易装置
本发明涉及一种资金交易(funds transaction)装置,更具体地说,但不局限于此,本发明涉及一种可移动的并且可利用移动电话服务操作的资金交易装置。
自动出纳机或电子资金传送销售点(Electronic Funds Transfer Point ofSale即EFTPOS)的终端已经使用许多年了。现在所用的所有EFTPOS的设备都是以相同的方式工作。EFTPOS卡经该设备“划过(swipe)”以获得帐户的细目,然后输入帐户类型和P.I.N.(个人识别号码),并且把这些信息发送到银行进行电子授权(electronic authorisation)。上述信息经一个PIN盘(个人识别号码盘,PINpad)进行处理,该PIN盘对P.I.N.细节进行加密,以保证数据的安全。该数据经过一个调制解调器,通过专用电话线(永久性连接的租用线)发送到交易交换网络上,在该网络中,它经过适当银行的主计算机被“交换”,以获得银行授权。在澳大利亚,该系统运行在澳大利亚电信(Telecom)公司的Tran$end网络上。
已知的系统具有许多缺点,具体地说,其使款项(credit)从一个帐户转帐到另一个帐户,例如从客户的帐户转帐到使用EFTPOS设备的商店店主帐户上的能力,目前只限于在固定的商店内(in-store)地点进行,因而,对于在现场的交易人员、市场商店店主或类似人员来说是不实用的,因为对这些人员不可能在不同的要发生交易的地点有必需的租用的Tran$end线路。
因此,本发明的目的是解决上述问题。
根据本发明的第一主要方面,提供一种资金交易装置,它用来在一个银行帐户或信用工具(credit facility)与另一个银行帐户或信用工具之间进行资金转帐。
所述的装置包括:
1.卡阅读器装置;
2.带有加密系统的个人识别号码盘(PINpad)装置;
3.调制解调装置;
4.与上述调制解调装置连接的通信接口装置;
5.输出报告装置;
6.通信装置;以及
7.中央处理装置;
所述的中央处理装置(CPU)与上述装置1到6都相互连接,所述的通信装置在使用时与一通信网络连接,以连接到与银行或信用机构连接的主EFTPOS类型的网络上。
所述CPU(中央处理单元)编程为存储该装置的所有者/租用者的商业识别数据;并启动所述PIN盘装置,从而使用户能够通过所述PIN盘装置输入信息,例如帐户类型、帐户交易类型、交易数量、以及PIN号码,该PIN号被所述PIN盘装置加密,并且其中,所述的PIN号码被加密和所述用户输入的信息被加密为信息鉴别码并且由所述CPU存储;通过所述的调制解调装置和所述的接口装置启动与主EFTPOS装置的通信联接;并传送所存储的用户输入的数据及传送该装置的所有者/租用者的商业识别数据,从而,资金能够从用户的银行帐户或者信用卡或借贷卡上转帐到所述所有者/租用者的银行帐户上,或是反过来转帐,并且提供一个信号给输出报告装置,确认该交易或是拒绝该交易或者给出其它与该交易相关的信息。
最好是,用来与主EFTPOS装置通讯的通信装置是一种移动式电话系统。特别是,最好将移动式电话设置在所述的装置内。具体地说,移动电话最好是专用于与主EFTPOS网络进行通讯的目的,并且没有通常的电话听筒上的送话器或受话器。
根据本发明的另一个主要方面,提供了一种允许在一个银行帐户与另一个银行帐户之间进行资金交易的方法,所述的方法包括:
存储该交易的一方的帐户数据;
通过经PIN盘装置输入交易的详细数据,例如:帐户类型、帐户交易类型、交易数量以及加密PIN号码的PIN号码并存储上述详细数据作为加密的信息鉴别码来存储该交易的另一方的帐户数据;与主EFTPOS类型的网络进行通信,并发送所存储的信息鉴别码和将资金从一方的银行帐户转帐到另一方的银行帐户上或是反过来转帐的一方的数据;并通过输出报告装置确认该交易或者拒绝该交易或提供与该交易有关的其它信息。
利用这种装置,进行交易的人员不需要与地面电话线路例如Tran$end电话线路直接连接,而这种电话线路通常在需要进行交易的贸易人员的个人家中或在市场摊店主人或工作人员需要进行交易的市场摊店地点处是不具备的。

在使用时,启动装置1,将用户卡31从卡槽29中划过,从而使卡31上的详细帐目资料能够被卡阅读器装置阅读。然后,CPU板33通过显示器23指示用户可以通过键盘21手工输入其帐户类型、所需的帐户交易、交易数量、以及个人识别号码(PIN)。PIN号在PIN盘上加密,并与其它未加密的用户输入数据被送回PIN盘17,通过个人识别数码盘17内的内部编码电路,按照澳大利亚标准2805.3的要求将数据封装(encapsulating)成为加密的MAC(信息鉴别码)或类似的码。然后,CPU 1将MAC存储在EEPROM存贮器芯片中。这个信息以加密的形式保留。然后CPU 33通过调制解调器35启动拔号程序(Sequence),以便与主EFTPOS网络进行通信。这也启动移动电话27进行必需的拨号联接。手机接口53使数据能够转换成合适的信号给移动电话,并且还使移动电话收到的信号被适当地转换,以通过调制解调器供给CPU单元,并由CPU进行处理。当与主EFTPOS网络和任何发生交易所需的特定银行达成联接时,发送交易的具体内容,包括所有者/租用者的详细资料。然后来自装置1的交易请求由该银行进行处理,并产生一个回复并传送回装置1。CPU 33接收这个回复,并通过输出报告装置13产生一个适当的回执(receipt)。输出报告装置13的输出可以是一个回执或者是一个表示金融机构拒绝或其它信息的信息(message)。输出报告装置13打印报告的过程既可以在装置1与主EFTPOS网络连接期间进行,也可以在连接终止后进行。
中央处理单元33预先对输出报告装置13的四种不同回执类型进行编程,它们是:

2.贷方认可-与1中一样,但只是还要求在回执上签名;
3.拒绝交易-表示金融机构拒绝;
4.未能接通-表示与主EFTPOS装置或交易交换网络,例如移动电话服务的连接有问题。
一旦输出装置13或显示器23给出适当的信息,则CPU 33将被编程,以便关闭该电路,直到它再一次打开来处理下一次交易。
CPU 33可以适当编程,以存储交易的数量,从而装置1的所有者/租用者能够定期打印出流水帐/结果,以便于管理。
用来与EFTPOS资金交易网络连接的电话号码可以由所有者/租用者预先人工设置在CPU 33的存储器中,或者在制造时置入CPU或移动电话27中。EEPROM芯片49用来保持CPU 33中的存储器中的任何非永久性存储的详细资料。电池25可以是典型的可充电电池,它具有足够的容量来驱动装置1。可以设置一个连接件使电池25既能在市电电源上充电,又能在汽车电池上充电。也可以设置插头连接件(未示出),以便必要时允许提供外部电源来驱动上述装置。也可以设置一个电话插头座,以便在移动电话不能工作的地区直接连接到公共电话网络上。这样,装置1就通过普通公共电话网络而不通过移动电话27与主EFTPOS网络连接。

最初划过(swipe)用户的信用/借贷卡可以启动CPU中的电路,以随后执行装置1的功能。从用户的信用/借贷卡上可以获得详细的帐户资料和终止日期。个人识别号码可以通过键盘21输入。交易的数量也能够通过键盘21输入。帐户类型可以是支票、存款或其它帐户。转帐交易可以是贷或借。必要的输入信息按照前面提到的澳大利亚标准AS 2805.3由该PIN盘装置17加密。装置1的商业所有者/租用者可以将其帐户细目和其它详细资料适当地存储在中央处理单元33存储器中。这些帐户信息不必被加密。可以在对装置1编程时设置一个例程,以便商业所有者/租用者将其帐户信息输入中央处理单元33的存储器中。这些信息可以保留,以便随每次交易传送。在另一种结构中,商业所有者/租用人可以具有一个帐户卡,该卡也必须划过卡槽29,以便获取所有者/租用者的帐户细目。如果以这种方式获得所有者/租用者的帐户细目,则通过设置在PIN盘装置17内的加密电路对该信息进行加密。
现在参照图5A、5B和5C所示的详细电路图以及图6A和6B所示的元器件参数表,可以看出,电池25设置为通过闭锁继电器开关S2与该电路电连接。闭锁继电器开关S2反过来由“瞬时接通”开关S1的动作来启动。图中所示的开关S2处于电源开的位置,用于从电池25中获取电能。晶体管T1与U1相连接,并且能够使闭锁继电器52释放,从而,当表示已完成交易的信号供给晶体管T1时,就自动断开闭锁继电器S2,以节省电池。
该电路中示出一故障指示发光二极管(LED)D1,发红色光。当该装置的功能出现大的故障时,CPU 33就驱动二极管D1,这时就需要修理。其它所有的错误都显示在PIN盘17上。
CPU 33中的存储器最好进行分区,以存储几个可替换的EFTPOS网络的电话号码,其中程序设置为使它尝试与一个号码连通,如果不成功,则再尝试与另一个号码连通,而不必用户插手。
另外,该电路对电子工程师来说应该是一目了然的。
现在参照图7A、7B和7C,图中示出了程序流程图,表示交易的事件的顺序。该流程图是一目了然的。
对银行和/或EFTPOS交易领域的普通技术人员来说,很明显,可以对本发明作出许多改进。例如,为了商业制造改进,可以要求在单一电路板上设置CPU、调制解调器、接口、电池电压控制器和打印机卡。而且,用户卡划过槽29可以不启动将电池25与CPU电路33连接的开关S1。可以用图1到图3所示的引线(pin)55作为开关S1,从而使该装置能够人工接通或关闭。
进一步地,如该装置不通过主EFTPOS网络链接的电话通信线路而工作,它也可通过任何合适的通信链路而工作,该通信链路使所述装置与其非永久性地物理地电连接,例如通过前面提到的通常的Tran$end线路。
可以进行上述改进或其它改进,而不会超出本发明的范围,本发明的特征由前面所述的内容来确定。

Claims (8)

1、一种资金交易装置,用来在一个银行帐户或信用工具与另一个银行帐户或信用工具之间进行资金转帐,
所述的装置包括:
(1)卡阅读器装置;
(2)带有加密系统的个人识别号码(PIN)盘装置;
(3)调制解调装置;
(4)与所述调制解调装置连接的通信接口装置;
(5)输出报告装置;
(6)通信装置;
(7)中央处理装置;
所述的中央处理装置(中央处理单元CPU)与上述1到6中所有装置相互连接,所述的通信装置在使用时可以与通信网络连接,以便连接到与银行或信用机构连接的主电子资金传送销售点(EFTPOS)类型网络上;
所述中央处理单元被编程,以便存储该装置的所有者/租用者的商业识别数据,并启动所述个人识别号码(PIN)盘装置,从而使用户能够通过所述个人识别号码盘装置输入信息,例如帐户类型、帐户交易类型、交易数量、以及个人识别号码,所述的个人识别号码由所述的个人识别号码盘装置进行加密,并且其中所述个人识别号码被加密及所述用户输入数据被加密作为信息鉴别码并由所述的中央处理单元存储;还经由所述的调制解调装置和所述的接口装置启动通信连接。以与主电子资金传送销售点装置连接,并传送所存储的用户输入的数据以及传送该装置所有者/租用者的商业识别数据,从而,资金能够从用户的银行帐户或者信用卡或借贷卡上转帐到所述所有者/租用者的银行帐户上,或反过来转帐,并且提供信号给该输出报告装置,确认该交易或拒绝该交易或者给出其它与该交易相关的信息。
2、根据权利要求1所述的装置,其中,通过由中央处理单元控制的电话拨号例程进行所述通信连接。
3、根据权利要求2所述的装置,其中,所述的通信装置是允许进行所述通信连接的移动电话装置,并且所述的电话拨号程序启动所述的移动电话。
4、根据权利要求3所述的装置,包括一个用于存储各主电子资金传送销售点网络电话号码的存储器。
5、根据权利要求4所述的装置,其中,所述的存储器设置来存储若干个电话号码,作为所述主电子资金传送销售点的可选择的电话号码;并且其中中央处理单元编程为尝试用一个号码进行连接,如果不成功,则再尝试用另一个号码,而不必用户插手。
6、一种允许在一个银行帐户与另一个银行帐户之间进行资金交易的方法,所述的方法包括:
存储该交易一方的帐户数据;
并且,经由个人识别号码盘装置通过输入交易的详细资料,例如:帐户类型、帐户交易类型、交易数量以及个人识别号码来存储该交易另一方的帐户数据,对该个人识别号码进行加密,并且存储所述这些详细资料作为加密的信息鉴别码;与主电子资金传送销售点类型的网络进行通信,并传送所存储的信息鉴别码和一方的数据;将资金从一方的银行帐户转帐到另一方的银行帐户上或反过来转帐并通过输出报告装置确认该交易或者拒绝该交易或提供其它与该交易有关的信息。
7、根据权利要求6所述的方法,其中,所述的通信是通过电话服务并包括存储主电子资金传送销售点的电话号码和进行该电话号码的拨号。
8、根据权利要求7所述的方法,包括存储若干个电话号码,作为所述主电子资金传送销售点号码的可选择的电话号码;以及通过这些电话号码中的一个号码尝试进行通信,且如果不成功,则再用这些电话号码中的另一个号码进行尝试而不必用户插手。
