Abstract
提供一种非蔓延性润滑脂组合物,在维持现有的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物的耐热性及耐负荷性的同时,相比于现有的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物能够提高非蔓延性。该非蔓延性润滑脂组合物含有40℃时的动态粘度为300mm2/s以上的基油、脲系增稠剂、硫系耐负荷添加剂以及以组合物的总质量为基准0.2~10质量%的多元醇,所述多元醇为选自甘油、三羟甲基乙烷和三羟甲基丙烷中的至少1种,其中,以组合物的总质量为基准,组合物中所含硫元素的浓度为0.59~2.70质量%,组合物中所含磷元素的浓度不超过100ppm。

技术领域
本发明涉及能够用于制铁设备等轴承、齿轮的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物。具体而言,本发明涉及可以用于高温水垢等飞溅、润滑脂被点火、存在火灾悬念的部位的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物。
背景技术
制铁设备、锻造设备等塑性加工设备的轴承、齿轮的润滑中经常使用润滑脂。用于制铁设备的轴承的润滑环境严峻,连铸设备的轴承在高温度环境中以极低速旋转,负荷也较大,因此在轴承的轨道表面润滑膜的形成不够充分,进一步,由于还混入水、水垢,轴承在极其严峻的环境中运转。
钢铁用轧机的滚动轴承、锻压机的轴颈轴承等,尤其在被施加要求耐热性、耐负荷性及持久性的制铁用机械等制铁用机械等过高的负荷的旋转、滑动机构,具有多个润滑部位。
由于这些设备暴露在高温下,发现了如下问题,即:使用后的润滑脂垂落于设备之下并堆积,在堆积的润滑脂暴露在高温下或者水垢飞溅的情况下,润滑脂会着火,由此引起火灾的问题。为了不发生这样的火灾,通常用手去除垂落的润滑脂。然而,在手难以伸入的狭窄场所中所垂落并堆积的润滑脂的去除是困難的。万一发生了火灾,如果火灾能够立即被发现则易于灭火,但对于自动化程度高的设备而言人手少,不能确保火灾会被立刻发现。若火灾的发现迟,则灭火变得困难,或者存在不能灭火的情况。因此,要求润滑脂具有自熄性。

发明内容
发明所要解决的课题
本发明的目的在于提供一种润滑脂组合物,在维持现有的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物的耐热性及耐负荷性的同时,相比于现有的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物能够提高非蔓延性。
本发明的其他目的在于提供一种封装有上述非蔓延性润滑脂组合物的轴承或齿轮。
解决课题的方法
1.一种非蔓延性润滑脂组合物,含有40℃时的动态粘度为300mm2/s以上的基油、脲系增稠剂、硫系耐负荷添加剂和以组合物的总质量为基准的0.2~10质量%的选自由甘油、三羟甲基乙烷和三羟甲基丙烷形成的组中的至少1种多元醇;其中,组合物中所含硫元素的浓度以组合物的总质量为基准为0.59~2.70质量%,组合物中所含磷元素的浓度不超过100ppm。
2.上述1项所述的润滑脂组合物,多元醇为甘油。
3.上述1或2项所述的润滑脂组合物,硫系耐负荷添加剂为选自由硫化烯烃、聚烯烃和硫化油脂形成的组中的至少1种。
4.上述1至3任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,脲系增稠剂为脂肪族二脲化合物。
5.上述4项所述的润滑脂组合物,脂肪族二脲化合物为4,4’-二苯甲烷二异氰酸酯与辛胺的反应产物。

发明效果
本发明的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物在保持耐热性及耐负荷性能的同时,相比于现有的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物提高了非蔓延性。因此,本发明的润滑脂组合物一方面耐热性优异,能禁得住高负荷(高表面压力下的负荷,为热轧所要求的负荷)或冲击负荷(急剧施加的负荷,为锻造设备所要求的负荷)条件下的运行,另一方面即使制铁设备等设备暴露在高温环境下使用也能够自然熄灭而难以蔓延,因此火灾的危险性低。
具体实施方式
〔基油〕
本发明所使用的基油在40℃的动态粘度为300mm2/s以上,优选为300~1000mm2/s,进一步优选为300~700mm2/s,更优选为400~550mm2/s。通过使40℃的动态粘度为300mm2/s以上,能够发挥足够的非蔓延性。
作为基油,可以使用矿物油、合成油或其混合物。其中,在发生从设备垂落并堆积润滑脂的情况下,使用集中供脂用润滑脂,考虑到大量使用,从经济性的观点出发,优选为矿物油。
本发明的润滑脂组合物中基油的含量优选为50~98质量%,更优选为80~97%。若基油的含量为上述范围内,从自熄性方面是优选的。
需要说明的是,本说明书中,“非蔓延性”与“自熄性”的意思相同。在基于后述的润滑脂燃烧性试验在300秒以内灭火的情况下,则为“非蔓延性”乃至“自熄性”润滑脂。
〔增稠剂〕
本发明所使用的增稠剂为脲系增稠剂。作为脲系增稠剂,可以列举芳香族脲化合物、脂肪族脲化合物、脂环式脲化合物、脂环式-脂肪族脲化合物、脂肪族-芳香族脲化合物或上述2种以上的组合。
作为构成芳香族脲化合物的胺,可以列举碳原子数6~12的芳香族胺。作为芳香族脲化合物的例子,可以列举来源于胺的两末端为苯基的二脲。
作为构成脂肪族脲化合物的胺,可以列举碳原子数8~22的脂肪族胺。作为脂肪族脲化合物的例子,可以列举来源于胺的两末端为C8烷基的二脲、来源于胺的两末端为C18烷基的二脲以及来源于胺的末端之一为C8烷基且另一端为C18烷基的二脲。
作为构成脂环式脲化合物的胺,可以列举碳原子数6~10的脂环式胺。作为脂环式脲化合物的例子,可以列举来源于胺的两末端为环己基的二脲。
作为构成脂环式-脂肪族脲化合物的胺,可以列举碳原子数6~10的脂环式胺及碳原子数8~22的脂肪族胺。作为脂环式-脂肪族脲化合物的例子,可以列举来源于胺的末端之一为环己基且另一端为C18烷基的二脲。
作为构成脂肪族-芳香族脲化合物的胺,可以列举碳原子数8~22的脂肪族胺及碳原子数6~12的芳香族胺。作为脂肪族-芳香族脲化合物的例子,可以列举来源于胺的末端之一为C8烷基且另一端为苯基的二脲、来源于胺的末端之一为C18烷基且另一端为苯基的二脲。C8烷基胺或C18烷基胺与苯胺的摩尔比为5:5~8:2,优选为通过与二异氰酸酯反应而得到的脂肪族-芳香族脲化合物(即,脂肪族-芳香族脲化合物与脂肪族-脂肪族脲化合物与芳香族-芳香族脲化合物的混合物)。
作为构成脲系增稠剂的二异氰酸酯,可以列举二苯甲烷二异氰酸酯或甲苯二异氰酸酯。从所得的二脲的非蔓延性的观点出发,优选为二苯甲烷二异氰酸酯。
其中,在机械设备的集中供脂的情况下,优选含有易于进行润滑脂的压送的脂肪族脲化合物。尤其是,以脲系增稠剂的总质量为基准,脂肪族脲化合物的含量优选为50~100质量%,更优选为70~100质量%,进一步优选为80~100质量%。更优选含有来源于胺的两末端为C8烷基或C18烷基的脂肪族二脲以及一末端为C8烷基且另一末端为C18烷基的脂肪族二脲。特别优选两末端为C8烷基的脂肪族二脲。尤其优选两末端为C8烷基的脂肪族二脲与两末端为苯基的芳香族二脲的组合。该组合优选为单独存在的C8烷基的脂肪族二脲与两末端为苯基的芳香族二脲的物理混合物。进一步更优选前者与后者的质量比为前者:后者=5:5~8:2的组合,最优选前者:后者=8:2的组合。此时,作为构成脲化合物的二异氰酸酯,优选为二苯甲烷二异氰酸酯。
本发明的组合物中的增稠剂的含量,只要能获得所希望的稠度即可,相对于润滑脂组合物整体,优选为3~30质量%,进一步优选为3~15%。
〔耐负荷添加剂〕
可以用于润滑脂的耐负荷添加剂通常可以分为分子内具有硫元素的硫系耐负荷抑制剂、分子内具有磷元素的磷系耐负荷抑制剂、分子内具有硫元素与磷元素的硫-磷系耐负荷抑制剂。
本发明所使用的耐负荷添加剂为硫系耐负荷添加剂。本发明的润滑脂组合物优选不含有磷系耐负荷抑制剂、硫-磷系耐负荷抑制剂。通常,作为可以含在润滑脂中的磷成分,除了来源于耐负荷抑制剂(例如二硫代磷酸锌(ZnDTP)、二硫代磷酸钼(MoDTP)、磷酸胺)的磷成分之外,还可以有来源于摩擦调节剂(例如磷酸酯)等,但本发明的润滑脂组合物的磷元素的浓度不超过100ppm。作为参考,在代表性耐负荷抑制剂为ZnDTP的情况下,0.1~0.125质量%相当于100ppm。在代表性摩擦调节剂为磷酸酯的情况下,例如为磷酸丁酯、叔烷基胺磷酸二甲酯的情况下,0.07~0.106质量%相当于100ppm。并非受任何理论的限制,本发明的润滑脂组合物中的磷浓度不超过100ppm,由此即使含有引火点大多低于润滑脂的使用环境温度200℃前后的多元醇,也能够发挥非蔓延性。
作为可用于本发明的硫系耐负荷添加剂,可以列举硫化烯烃、多硫化物及硫化油脂。这些物质可以单独使用,也可以2种以上组合使用。
本发明所使用的硫化烯烃,可以由下式通式表示。
R1S-(Sx-R2-Sy)n-R1
式中,x为0或1或2的整数,y为1~3的整数,n表示1~10的整数,R1和R2分别独立表示碳原子数4~10的饱和或不饱和烃基。
硫化烯烃可以使用通过公知的方法合成的物质,也可以使用市售品。作为市售品,可以列举ANGLAMOL33(日本Lubrizol株式会社)、NA-LUBEEP-5120(KING INDUSTRIES公司)、NA-LUBEEP-5130LC(KING INDUSTRIES公司)、NA-LUBEEP-5415(KING INDUSTRIES公司)等。
本发明所使用的多硫化物可以使用通过公知的方法合成的物质,也可以使用市售品。作为市售的多硫化物,可以列举DAILUBEIS-30、DAILUBEGS-460(DIC(株))、TPS-20、TPS-32(阿科玛(株))等。
本发明所使用的硫化油脂可以使用通过公知的方法合成的物质,也可以使用市售品。作为市售的硫化油脂,可以列举DAILUBEGS-150(DIC(株))、DAILUBEGS-290(DIC(株))、DAILUBEGS-310(DIC(株))、DAILUBEGS-110(DIC(株))等。
作为本发明所使用的硫系耐负荷添加剂,优选为多硫化物。在2种以上并用的情况下,优选含有多硫化物。此时,从自熄性的观点出发,多硫化物与其他硫系耐负荷添加剂,以质量比计,优选配比为多硫化物:其他硫系耐负荷添加剂=1:2~2:1。
本发明的组合物中的耐负荷添加剂的含量优选为0.3~5质量%,更优选为0.3~1.5质量%。通过含有该范围内的耐负荷添加剂,能够不降低非蔓延性,且保证耐负荷性。
构成润滑脂的基油有时如矿物油那样含有硫成分。本发明的润滑脂组合物中所含的硫成分(即,来源于添加剂的硫成分以及在存在的情况下的、源于基油的硫成分的总量),换算成硫元素,优选为0.59~2.70质量%,更优选为0.60~1.50质量%,进一步优选为0.60~0.90质量%。
〔多元醇〕
本发明所使用的多元醇选自由甘油、三羟甲基乙烷、三羟甲基丙烷所形成的组。可以2种以上并用。这些物质之中,优选为甘油。
本发明的组合物中的多元醇含量为0.2~10质量%,优选为0.2~1质量%。在此范围内,不仅非蔓延性优异,且耐热性也优异。
〔任意成分〕
本发明的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物中,在不损坏本发明的效果的范围内,根据需要可以添加润滑脂组合物中通常使用的添加剂,例如防锈剂、缓蚀剂、抗氧化剂、油性剂等。在将本发明的润滑脂组合物用于制铁设备的情况下,优选含有防锈剂。这些成分的含量总计,以组合物的总质量作为基准,通常为0.1~10质量%左右,优选为0.5~5质量%。但是,如上所述,润滑脂组合物中所含磷元素浓度为100ppm以下的量。
〔防锈剂〕
作为防锈剂,可以适用例如羧酸及其衍生物、羧酸金属盐、磺酸盐、脂肪酸酯、胺系防锈剂等。
〔缓蚀剂〕
本发明的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物中,根据需要可以添加润滑脂组合物中经常使用的金属缓蚀剂。可以列举例如以氧化锌、苯并三唑为代表的金属缓蚀剂。
〔抗氧化剂〕
已知抗氧化剂作为润滑脂的氧化劣化抑制剂。作为可用于本发明的抗氧化剂,可以列举酚系抗氧化剂、胺系抗氧化剂等。作为酚系抗氧化剂,可以列举2,6-二叔丁基对甲酚(BHT)、2,2'-亚甲基双(4-甲基-6-叔丁基苯酚)、4,4'-亚丁基双(3-甲基-6-叔丁基苯酚)、2,6-二叔丁基苯酚、2,4-二甲基-6-叔丁基苯酚、叔丁基羟基茴香醚(BHA)、4,4'-亚丁基双(3-甲基-6-四氢化丁基苯酚)、4,4'-亚甲基双(2,3-二叔丁基苯酚)、4,4'-硫代双(3-甲基-6-叔丁基苯酚)等。作为胺系抗氧化剂,可以列举N-n-丁基-对氨基苯酚、4,4'-四甲基-二氨基二苯甲烷、α-萘基胺、N-苯基-α-萘基胺、吩噻嗪等。
〔油性剂〕
还可以进一步含有油性剂。作为可用于本发明的油性剂,可以列举高级醇、油脂、酯等。
〔稠度〕
本发明的润滑脂组合物的稠度可结合使用目的进行调整,但优选为220~430,更优选为280~430。本发明的润滑脂组合物在用作钢铁、锻造设备用的轴承中集中供脂用润滑脂的情况下,当稠度为310~385时,润滑脂的压送变得容易,因而优选。需要说明的是,本说明书中,术语“稠度”指60次混合稠度。稠度可以根据JIS K 2220 7进行测定。
本发明的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物可以使用下述方法制备,即,在基油中使相当的胺与异氰酸酯进行反应,此后使其加热分散。进一步,在制备工艺途中可以添加添加剂。
本发明的非蔓延性润滑脂组合物可以封装在轴承或齿轮中使用。特别地,适用于用作集中供脂用润滑脂组合物,尤其适用于用作制铁设备用润滑脂组合物。进一步特别适用于封装在制铁设备用轴承或齿轮中。
实施例
调制试验用润滑脂组合物所使用的成分,如下所示。

0.润滑脂组合物的制备
(1)实施例1~16及比较例1~13的润滑脂组合物的制备
在基油中,相对于4,4’-二苯甲烷二异氰酸酯1摩尔,以辛胺2摩尔的比率进行反应,冷却得到含有脂肪族脲的基础润滑脂。代替辛胺而使用环己胺,得到含有脂环式脲的基础润滑脂。代替辛胺使用苯胺,得到含有芳香族脲的基础润滑脂。根据表1及2所示的比例分别称取上述各基础润滑脂,在其中按照表1及2所示的比例(表中的数字为以组合物的总质量为基准的质量%)配合添加剂,添加追加的基油以得到表1及表2所示比例的增稠剂量,3辊轧机进行分散,调制润滑脂组合物。润滑脂组合物的稠度为310~340。
(2)比较例14的润滑脂组合物的制备
在基油中,加入硬脂酸锂进行混合加热溶解,冷却后,通过3辊轧机进行混炼,得到比较例14的润滑脂组合物。润滑脂组合物的稠度为325。
1.耐热性评价
通过根据JIS K2220.8所规定的润滑脂的滴点试验方法测定的润滑脂的滴点,评价耐热性。
2.耐负荷性的评价
对于耐负荷性,使用ASTMD2596所规定的高速四球试验,测定发生融合时的负荷(融合负荷),以此进行评价。
3.非蔓延性评价
将润滑脂组合物100g倒入长155×宽126×深27mm的金属容器(不锈钢),在其中加入加热至规定温度(950℃)的钢球(直径26.98mm),使其着火并测定直至燃烧结束的时间。
在燃烧时间超过300秒的情况下判断为不存在非蔓延性并进行灭火,中止试验。
4.磷浓度测定
润滑脂组合物中的磷浓度使用电感耦合等离子体质谱仪(Thermo Scientific制,iCAP-6300)进行测定。
对于试料,事先使用Analysis Quiena公司制备的微波样品分解装置TOPwave由微波将有机物进行酸解,将分解后的溶液以纯水进行稀释,根据标准溶液的校准曲线计算浓度。
5.硫浓度的测定
润滑脂组合物中的硫浓度根据JIS K 2541-3进行测定。表1及表2中的质量%表示以润滑脂组合物的总质量为基准的值。
结果示于表1及表2。
判断标准
以下的情况下,记作合格(○)。
·耐热性,润滑脂的滴点为210℃以上。
·耐负荷性,融合负荷为1961N以上。
·非蔓延性,在950℃下300秒以内灭火。
·磷浓度,为100ppm以下。
综合判定
当耐负荷性、非蔓延性及磷浓度的任一项都合格的情况下,记作合格(○)。
Claims (8)
1.一种非蔓延性润滑脂组合物,含有:
40℃时的动态粘度为300mm2/s以上的基油,
脲系增稠剂,
硫系耐负荷添加剂,
以组合物的总质量为基准,0.2~10质量%的多元醇,所述多元醇为选自由甘油、三羟甲基乙烷和三羟甲基丙烷形成的组中的至少1种;
其中,以组合物的总质量为基准,组合物中所含硫元素的浓度为0.59~2.70质量%,组合物中所含磷元素的浓度不超过100ppm。
2.根据权利要求1所述的润滑脂组合物,其中,所述多元醇为甘油。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的润滑脂组合物,其中,所述硫系耐负荷添加剂为选自由硫化烯烃、聚烯烃和硫化油脂形成的组中的至少1种。
4.根据权利要求1至3任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其中,所述脲系增稠剂含有50~100质量%的脂肪族二脲化合物。
5.根据权利要求4所述的润滑脂组合物,其中,所述脂肪族二脲化合物为4,4’-二苯甲烷二异氰酸酯与辛胺的反应产物。
6.根据权利要求1至5任一项所述的润滑脂组合物,其中,所述基油为矿物油。
7.一种轴承或齿轮,封装有根据权利要求1至6任一项所述的润滑脂组合物。
8.根据权利要求7所述的轴承或齿轮,为制铁设备用。
